Material of an Altar

Many geomancers consider the following:
1. Preferably an altar should be made of wood or concrete.
2. An altar should not be made of glass.
3. It should be of a favourable dimension.
4. The joss stick urn/holder should preferably be made of brass and not glass or marble/earth element.
5. A metal altar should not be used unless it is (looked into... ) as favourable on the advice of a geomancer.
