Basement House

Dear Cecil,
I?ve just bought a studio apartment recently and I wonder if it is a good house for me. My apartment is located on the basement of the building. In that building, there are 3 storeys with a flat on each floor, mine is on the basement.
The building is painted in dark blue with the building front door facing the N-E direction. When I open the main door, i have to turn a little left and then right to go down a flight of stairs which leads to my apartment door. And the door is also facing N-E direction. I am born in 20 July 1974, year of the tiger. As I know from the data given in the page, it is suppose to be a excellenet position for me. What i want to know is, does this theory apply to my basement apartment. my apartment is 1/2 underground and half on to of the ground. Is it good ? My apartment is also rectangular in shape with the long side facing N-E direction. How should i place my furnitures ? What position should my bed be facing ?
Please enlighten me. Thanks a lot!

Dear Jasper,
For a start, you can actually generate your personal Eight House Chart if
you have not done so already.
A detailed step-by-step guide is at url:
http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm additional explantion is available =at
http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house2.htm You can also immediately generate a
free Eight House Chart at www.geomancy-online.com
In a cold country it is acceptable to have an apartment at the basement.
However, ideally, one side of the the toilet wall should be along the
external wall.
Another point is that you should find out how the sewerage pipes run.
Preferably, it should `connect' to the toilet and where possible, not go
under your basement unit home. If so, try to place your bed away from thi=s
`pipe'. You should also check to see if there are any `running water' un=der
the home and if so, stay `clear' of this.
If you have not read this short article I wrote on " Dangers of undergrou=nd
water " please click on this url: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/under.htm
As mentioned above, try to do a self audit using the Eight House Theory.
Under the Eight house theory, it is good to sleep with your head facing a=ny
of the four good directions.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
