2. I am not sure if I got your question correct, but perhaps, I believe what you meant was whose profile to use?
If this is the case, usually it is the person who earns the most for the house.
Thus for a suitable house i.e. front door, should be favourable to the element of the breadwinner.
As Feng Shui is a holistic method, we should also for example look at each family member especially in relation to the intangible force at their bedroom.
