Finding Gua (Kua) number

I am currently enrolled in the About Feng Shui course and I am confused about finding my Gua number. I have no trouble finding the male, but I had mine figured to be a 7. I printed a report Eight house and found it to be a 9. My birth date is June 22, 1967. Thanks JOy

Method 1
========
For 1967 (female):-
[1.] 67 - 4 = 63
[2.] 63 / 9 = 7 remainder 0
[3.] Gua is the remainder 0 (which is treated as Gua 9)
I believe you took the value 7 which is not the gua number.
It should be the remainder 0. Since the gua is 0, it should be treated as Gua 9 instead.
You can use the method 2 to in the Applied Feng Shui course to verify this. It also gives you 9 instead of 7.
Method 2
========
For 1967 (female):
[1.] 6 + 7 = 13 = 1 + 3 = 4
[2.] 4 + 5 = 9
[3.] Gua is 9
You can use the Method 2 which is an easier method.
