Dear Cecil,
Like to check with you on the
above subject.
I superimposed the Luo Shu
numbers on our floor plan
based on a Period 7 house. We
found that the kitchen has
numbers 5 and 6 and we know
that 5 is the bad Earth Five
Yellows. Does that mean we
are supposed to avoid yellow
and brown (wood)color so that
it will not destroy Earth
element? And to enhance the
area, we can use Fire
Elements. Then again, 6 is
the Metal Element and we are
suppose to avoid Fire Element.
I'm pretty confused, oh no,
did I mixed up all my
Elements?
How do I go about applying the
Elements for the whole house
after obtaining the Luo Shu
Numbers? Can I use the
Characteristics of the Five
Elements to enhance or prevent
the destruction.
We value and appreciate yr
advice on the above matter.
Thanks
Angel

Well, in order to know this you have to understand how the Flying Star works and know how to analyse the details of the numbers. It is best to use the anlaysis from teh Flying Star report if you are not sure how to do it yourself.
Generally, you have to relate the two MS and WS and then later to the base star to know whether the sector is good or bad, and not simply just based on one or two star numbers that are found in the sector.
For example if the sector is 656 then the sector is not so bad even with the star 5. However, if it is 528 then you will be in a lot more trouble.
At this point, the easiest way is to apply a little of your Five element knowledge to the numbers to at least give you some understanding of the relationship.

You can do that, as that is part of the analysis method, in addition you need to know the Nine Stars explanation as well as th 81 unique interpretation to tell for sure whether the sector is good or bad.
However, if you understand the Five Element properly, you should be able to deduce whether the sector is good or bad.
However, if you are really unsure, please use the Flying Star report to assist you.
