Beloved tree is poison arrow

Dear All,
There is a very beautiful conifer in direct line with out front door. It is quite old, and I do not want to cut it down. What is the remedy to protect us from poison arrows in this situation? Thanks so much.

Dear Lora,
In your situation, you can place two plants on each side of your entrance door to create a `triangle effect' with the tree.
From a top down view, it would show as a triangle profile; where the tip of the triangle, points away from the house.
