July 22, 200124 yr Staff Dear Sudarshan,Usually, the belief is that the flow of Qi should be `slowed' down in a horizontal passage.Depending on the width of the passage-way, potted plants could be placed on either side of the passage. The size of plants / pots depends on the passage way. If the passage way is too narrow, then, small potted plants can be used.
