My husband insists on having a gun cabinet in the basement. In what part of the basement should it be put?

Dear Adrienne,
In my opinion, there should not be a major issue as to where it should be placed as overall, it is considered as a `metal' element.
Overall, since it is weapon, it should be safely locked up and if possible, the ammunition should be (where possible) kept separate from the gun.
