myfs_75813
Dear Cecil,My main door faces the common chute from the opposite block. In addition, there are few corners from the opposite block pointing towards my door. This sounds like bad fengshui to me. How can I correct these sha-qi?Regards,Wendy
Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 14, 2002 Staff Share Posted January 14, 2002 Dear Wendy,Usually if there are the edge of opposite blocks pointing towards your door; normally, the best solution is still the use of a Ba Gua mirror. Especially since, the main door is facing the common chute. The alternative is to use a semi-circular mat (raditating outwards) placed at the main entrance area. This is less effective to counteract the edge of opposite blocks.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 1/10/2002 9:27:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Cecil,My main door faces the commonchute from the opposite block. In addition, there are fewcorners from the oppositeblock pointing towards mydoor. myfs_75813
Dear Cecil,What kind of ba-gua mirrors should I use? I think there are few types of bagua mirrors available for different uses and I don't wish to end up using the wrong kind of mirrors. Also, how do we choose a bagua mirror? Since 14 March 2002 is a first day of the 2nd Lunar month, is it considered a good day to hang up the mirror? Also, where do I place it? above my main door or on the parapet outside along the coridoor facing the rubbish chute and the corners? Please advice.Wendy. Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 5, 2002 Staff Share Posted March 5, 2002 Dear Wendy, Due to many queries about the type of Ba Gua mirror to use, I have compiled information on the various types. You need to log in to the forum and go to this conference: Photo Tours of Interest (with pictures). Look for the recent messages, e.g. Part I, Part II, and Part III, where I not only list a description of each type but also show pictures of them. Based on the above, you should use the type mentioned under Part I – Ba Gua mirrors. The models applicable for your case are Model A, B, C, or D type of Ba Gua mirror, especially if there is a sharp corner or angle of another building pointing towards your main entrance door. The above file explains the various “models.” If it is for curing “the rubbish chute,” I personally feel that a Ba Gua mirror may not be appropriate since it is at a low level and does not have a poison arrow. If it is cleaned properly, and since it has a cover, there should not be much of an issue. In this situation, using a Ba Gua mirror is too “strong.” Perhaps you can place two plants on either side of the house, near the rubbish chute. As you mentioned, the 1st or 15th day of a lunar month is overall an auspicious date.
