A few questions on Flying Star

Dear cecil and robert,
I need your advise desperately. I am confused about so many things. Usually when
I try to learn something I go all the way.
But in case of fengshui I am stuck. It seems to be a vast subject with so many interrelated concepts. On top of that the veil of secrecy. I don't understand all that
secrecy surrounding the flying star theory.
Imagine what the world will be like if edison
and einstein would have decided to keep their
theories secret. We the earthling will be still living in darkness.
Anyway, I have few questions. I will really
appreciate it if you can remove my doubts.
1)I needed to know if using octagonal shaped
things like plates, crystals are good or bad.
2) The cures for the flying stars are applied
singly. Like it says metal is the cure that means we can just keep a metal coins or statue in that place or we have to change the color, remove all the ceramics and plants and
light from that place. eg the area is NW and
stars are 4 9

3) the cures for a particular area applied in
the particular sector of the house or
each room.
4)Gardens can be set up anyway or flying star theory is applicable to gardens also.
5)if we buy a house and flying star is applied and changes are made. Then other major changes are made every 20 years or
every year,
6) Do a person changes the location of major
features like ponds every year or every 20
years.
7)Why do I detect the change immediately.
since I am a novice learner. So whenever I
try to move things around. Let me give a example whenever I try to move a lamp in a
particular location in my bedroom there is
loss next day. Either somebody steals
something or there is loss in the mail or I
loose something or something else. And
whenever I sit in that part of my bedroom I
seriously get ill. I am hospitalized the same day. I understand that it is bad location
and it causes harm. My question is why it
happens immediately. Why the affect is instaneous. Its like flipping the coin. Does
every body sees the change or some are more
attuned compared to others.
8) When you keep things on the desk should
they be kept according to flying star or
only the location of desk is important.
9) Is the address ending with 4 is good or bad
Is 1174 good or bad.

The problem with Flying Star, is that it is complex, and not a secret. The complexity that it can be used and the level of detailed reading that can be done by it is what makes it difficult to understand. But that is also why it is so powerful. For beginners or those looking for an easy path, the Eight House was created for that purpose. But because of that it can only do that much.

That depends on the object themselves and what they are being used for. If you look at it, based on feng shui, what is good for one person is not necessary good for the other, so it depends on the person's element, to deduce the good and bad of a certain object.
In general, so long as you can see the problem, such as a sharp corner pointing or 'cutting' at you then it is bad. Otherwise it is ok.

Normally, it means the influence created by the sector can be neutralised by a certain element. Flying Star helps to provide reading for the chi of the house. And Chi in a way is like a form of element which can be read or understand with the elements.

Whether you need to do anything, depends on the eventual analysis, which tell you if there are any bad influence. If there are, of course it would be better if you can control that influence.

The cures for the sector found is the flying star affects that whole sector. If you have used the free report, you would have see the report in a table (9 square format). However, it is usually more accurate as a 8 pie chart like a bagua, which uses equal angle of 60 degrees spread.

Normally, for gardens the external shapes and forms school is used instead. The Flying Star is good interior and a limited area of the exterior of the boundaries of the house.

It is good to look for a house with good 20-year, because this normally means that that 20-year would be influenced by the 20-year chart.

Yearly chart, helps you analyse the house in detail, because every year, every month, every day, every hour, the stars are always moving, so these helps you fine tune the influences.
If you really want the best, then normally, you try to make changes every year to suit the year and even to the extend of the monthly stars.

No, so long as you do not make any major changes to the house the chart will be used until you make a major renovation to the house.
This means, that if you have a house of good feng shui in 1960, and you do not make any changes to the house, the influence will remain the same even for 2010. This is because the birth chart of the house does not change and the Flying star is like a "doing personal Pillars" for your house.

It is like that, Feng Shui influences is very complex, and so long as it does not suit you or someone in the house, the effects takes places immediately. Thus, the Flying Star is able to predict until the minute and even the second.

For desk, if you want to work in it, then make sure it suits your Eight House. And also a desk should be anchored onto a wall etc.

It depends some chinese found that in cantonese 4 means die, others say that 4 is a luck number because of 4 leaf clover, it is stated to bring you luck.
Whatever, the case, it depends on what you believe in.
