myfs_75057
Hi Cecil,I have made a wrongth iron gate. The base colour is black, and painted over with silver, but percentage black still can be seen a lot.My main door is facing southwest and painted in white.I am of weak fire element and east group.Need your advise whether the door and wrought iron gate is to my favour or not? Thanks
Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 4, 2002 Staff Share Posted August 4, 2002 Dear Peck Wun,In my opinion, the wronght iron gate is in an acceptable colour. I have included an illustration showing that it would not be advisable, thou, to use iron gate with arrow heads at the top.Since you are in Singapore, doors painted white is also acceptable.Warmest RegardsCecil Quote On 8/3/2002 8:22:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Hi Cecil,I have made a wrongth irongate. The base colour is black, andpainted over with silver, butpercentage black still can beseen a lot.My main door is facingsouthwest and painted inwhite.I am of weak fire element andeast group.Need your advise whether thedoor and wrought iron gate isto my favour or not? Thanks

Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 12, 2002 Staff Share Posted August 12, 2002 Dear Peck Wun,Frankly, there is no issue with trying to repaint the wrought iron grille. In many situations, unless, it is a major clash or the colours are out of the ordinary e.g. bright red or bright blue. The `natural' colour of what is suppose to be wrought iron grille colour is overall an acceptable colour. Since it has both gold and black. Gold represents metal and black represents water. Metal and Water are acceptable combinations.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 8/12/2002 4:18:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Hi Cecil,Need your advise for thefollowing:1.I told you my door is inwhite colour but be exact isactually off white (with alittle geryish) is it stillok?2.Is it ok for me to (if Iintent to ) repaint my wroughtiron gate into brown colour?I am of weak fire and eastgroup and door facingsouthwest.Thanks.
