Compass readings: Add 20 degrees

When reading the front door direction on my compassdo I need to add 20 degree for the age of 8 change in Feburary 2004??? If so which direction do I go plus 20 degree or minus 20 degrees. I think I add 20 degree. thanks Brenda bgbbayview@earthlink.net

No. In whatever age, one should simply stick to the actual compass direction.

Therefore, in my opinion, there is no truth to add 20 degrees just for the age of 8. Furthermore, why add 20 degrees? 1 degree per year.
