myfs_106071
Dear Master Lee:Would you please rate the inauspiciousnessof the following homes that cannegatively affect the owner's finances or health (with 1= worst, 2-second worst, etc...):a) Home facing a t-junctionb) Home located in a culdesac "circle"c) Home that is level in the front and back yards, but sloped down on the side such that if one stands on the side of the house, one can see the front yard is higher than the back yard.d) Any other houses that you can think of besides the aboveThese are the homes that one should avoid when go house hunting. Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 11, 2004 Staff Share Posted September 11, 2004 Dear Pam,1. In my opinion, what you had mentioned is not exactly true in all situations.2. Since no two situations (or homes) are exactly the same, therefore, an appropriate term should be " It depends". This is also called situational approach towards reviewing each homes.3. For example, I know of many homes in a cul-de-sac that has been properly "configured". For example, even if it is at a cul-de-sac, the frontage is usually a long driveway towards the "inner" part i.e. the main entrance or home is right "inside" this cul-de-sac.4. In the past, I had posted a sample case study of a home at the cul-de-sac - somewhere close to Woo Mun Chew Road, Siglap, Singapore.5. It is always best never to put a number behind each significance eg. T junction = 1 etc...6. Becareful! This seems to be very common such as all Chinese are Yellow (chicken) or all blacks are.....7. For example, I know of many cases in the educational field: for example, this boy at age 14 frequently fails his English paper. But one cannot simply place him last all his life! His boy later, works hard, and came out tops later in life!Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 9/11/2004 9:10:24 PM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Master Lee:Would you please rate theinauspiciousnessof thefollowing homes thatcannegatively affect theowner's finances or health(with 1= worst, 2-secondworst, etc...):a) Home facing a t-junctionb) Home located in a culdesac"circle"c) Home that is level in thefront and back yards, butsloped down on the side suchthat if one stands on the sideof the house, one can see thefront yard is higher than theback yard.d) Any other houses that youcan think of besides the aboveThese are the homes that oneshould avoid when go househunting.
