myfs_83820
Dear Master Cecil Lee,My apartment is on the 9th floor and my balcony faces a wider view, with more sunshine. As my actual front door is closed most of the time, hence Iam assuming that my flat's correct facing is at the balcony.I need to know where I shldstand to get the correct compass reading of the balcony. When I stand at the centre of the apartment , the compass reads SW3 (240)whereas if I stand at the centre of the living room, my compass reads SW1(210). So,it does affect the Flying Star charts, and I noticed there are a lot of differences between these 2 charts.Awaiting yr kind advise.Tks in advance.Anonymous. Staff Robert Lee Posted June 21, 2006 Staff Share Posted June 21, 2006 Dear Jason,Quote:Quote:Master Cecil Lee ever said :1. Apartment (2nd-7th level), main door facing direction.2. As NNTP does not accept attachment postingsif I remember correctly. Any attachment is usually removed. You see the problem here is that flying star can be applied in may different types of frontage and for different purpose. If you plan to apply the direction based on the center of the house, you will be considered applying the flying star concept which is constraint to only your own four walls. The above method that Cecil mentioned is to determine the frontage. When you apply the flying star based on such frontage you will actually be allowing your flying star to extend beyond the 4 walls. So when you take the point 2 for example, Apartment (8th level and up), living room or balcony will be assessed by standing in the living room and balcony looking outwards. Just like in the Apartment (2nd level-7th level), you take the reading of the door facing. These are taking frontage, as such you do not apply the centerpoint concept.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert LeeGEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
