Applying Feng Shui in an apartment

I live in a 2nd floor apartment which is located in a house-like building split into 4 apartments. How do I apply Feng Shui? Do I begin from the door of my apartment (inside & upstairs with the door of the other upstairs apartment directly across the hallway), or from the front door of the building (it faces a different direction than the door of my apartment)?

Dear Shannon,
To clarify, when you mentioned that the house-like building is spilt into 4 apartments, do mean that the `centrepoint' is where the entry and exit to the four apartments?
Usually, when you do a FS audit, you should do it floor by foor.
If your main entrance is located at the 2nd floor than determine where the main entrance door is.
One can also divide each of the four apartments into separate units. For example, an " L " shaped house can be divided into two squares/rectangle and from here, do an audit for each square/rect.
Warmest Regards
Cecil

There is a main door that's in the center of the front of the building, and a back door in the same location at the back.
{1st floor of building}
--- (main door)
(door2)| |(door1)
--- (stairs to 2nd floor)
___________________________ (wall)
--- (back stairs)
(back door2)| |(back door1)
--- (back door of building)
My apartment door(s) would be directly above door1 on the 2nd floor.
