Bagua Mirror

Ok, I have been running search after search regarding a Bagua Mirror and need a little help.

I am not terribly familure with FengShui. I feel kind of stupid for even having to resort to this, but here goes. I was in a shop this afternoon when a small octagon caught my eye. It felt like it was trying to get my attention. So I picked it up and felt compelled to buy it.

Now I'm trying to figure out what I bought it for and what to do with it. Hanging it above my door outside is not an option. Where should I put it? I've got it upside down on a shelf at the moment because looking directly into it doesn't "feel" right. After some research I found this "gut feeling" was some what right on. Any help orarticles would be most appreciated.

Generally, one will only hang or display a bagua usually more towards defending against a posion arrow (sha qi). Otherwise, normally it is best not to display it else it will only cause disruption.

So I have no idea why you want to display it. So no idea how to advise you on this. Generally, if it is not to help solve a sha qi it is not advisable to display it.
