Unit near or facing an Electrical Sub-Station (ESS) While there are no proven health effects from living near an Electrical Sub-Station (ESS), being close to one can still impact the resale value of your property. Even if you personally don’t mind, some potential buyers may have concerns or negative perceptions, which could make the unit harder to sell or result in a lower selling price compared to units farther from such facilities.

Are there any concerns about having a view of the Precinct Pavilion? If you can’t see the Pavilion, you might still hear noise from it. How does that happen? 1. If your unit faces the Precinct Pavilion, try to pick a higher floor to avoid looking into it. Funeral Wakes can happen without warning and may take place during special occasions such as Chinese New Year. 2. Even if your unit doesn’t face the Pavilion, you might still hear activities if you live nearby, like chanting or music played at a Malay wedding. Absolutely great that the placement of the precinct pavilion at one end of HDB Bishan Terraces, away from residential units, is excellent planning. This thoughtful design helps reduce potential concerns such as noise or undesirable views during certain events, creating a more comfortable and harmonious living environment for residents.

1. All images have been gently pixelated of street names to help protect confidentiality. 2. Since this message includes a real street names, I’ll probably be asked to remove it later, especially once someone replies. That would defeat the whole purpose of sharing it in this forum. My street address is now public in your forum. Remove it now! Doh!

myfs_168743 started following Corner house at road bend
-
Can you help me evaluate the following house fengshui? - House is a corner lot around the bend (as indicated on Google maps, refer IMG_6656). - Road wrapping the right side of the house is two way traffic; incoming traffic is on the side of the road that is further away from the house, and the outgoing traffic on the side closer to the house. The road leading away from the house normally has cars parked on the side (refer picture IMG_6664), it’s a relatively long road which then joins another road perpendicular to it with houses along that road. - Adjacent to the back of the house is a neighbour on higher land. === As road names were clearly shown, images have been pixelated.
