Csar Ritz (born 1850 to 1918) was a famous founder of several hotels. Notably, The Hotel Ritz in Paris. In short, there was a hygiene scare when the hotel opened. During those days the hotel has valvet wall paper and heavy drape curtains and shared toilets. WhenRitz tookcharge of the hotel; he made sure thateach hotel room hasit's own toilet. (At that time, most homes only have a shared toilet). He made sure that hygiene was a top priority and hemake sure that the walls ofeach room were white-washed and atthe same time; he got brass beds installed in each of the hotel room. His purpose for installing bra…

These are some of the considerations:- 1. There are two sides to assessing the Feng Shui of a home:- 1.1. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 1.1.1 Here, location, location and location plays a very important consideration. 1.1.2 It is often said that there are more millionaires staying on the ground level or floor. Firstly, some even have control over the way, their home is constructed etc... 1.1.3 Sunlight. 1.1.3.1 Some people are shocked to learn that simple things like sunlight or no sunlight or filtered sunlight or direct sunlight has a bearing on Feng Shui. 2. This is why in some newspaper advertising; without considering how well the home suits a person say based on…

These are some other considerations:- 1. The lowest common denominator: The Five Elements Concept. 2. The most powerful "Holistic Approach to Feng Shui" is what is known as Ba Zi Feng Shui with Flying Star Feng Shui. 3. Why? 4. Ba Zi's lowest common denominator is: The Five Elements Concept. For example: an individual can be classified as say: weak metal or strong metal; weak water or strong water; weak wood or strong wood; weak fire or strong fire and weak earth or strong earth. 4.1. Belonging to each of the above is distinctive from each one or the other. 5. Flying Star Feng Shui's lowest common denominator is also based on the Five Elements concept. Here e.…

You can check out this write-up by Robert Lee, Geomancy.net:- Traditional & Modern Wedding Procedure:-http://www.geomancy.net/info/wedding-procedures.pdf As we Chinese have so many provinces and dialect groups; there are also many variants of Traditional Chinese practises. However, Robert Lee, has written this article many years back to give one an insight into the most common and typical Chinese practises. For example, selecting say a woman who is "barren" (no child) to a woman who has given birth to lots of child; the natural choice is to select a woman who has given to lots of (healthy) child as a helper is the obvious choice. Thus all these has to do with symb…

Hi Cecil, I know there is posting on the Green Dragon & White Tiger. However, please excuse me because i cannot determine the GD & WT base on the explanation there as i'm living in an apartment with balcony allign to the main door. Can you please tell me whether i should stand inside the house facing the Main Door or Balcony to determine the left & right for Green Dragon & White Tiger? Some says that there are more chi coming in from balcony so we should face the balcony. So i'm confused. Fyi, the whole apartment main entrance is also having the same facing as the balcony which face South. My Main Door faces North. Please help me so that i know…

These are some of the considerations: 1. The overall concept of placing the flutes or two flutes has more to do with SYMBOLISM in Feng Shui than anything else. 2. When it comes to symbolism; there is no hard or fast rule. 3. For example, it is not like studying to become a real life doctor of medicine. Here, a doctor must have an exact understanding of say where all the internal organs and veins in a person. 4. Symbolism in Feng Shui can be wide ranging and subject to lots of various interpretations. So long as it sounds reasonable, it can be used. 5. Thus the most common method of placing flutes especially a pair of flutes is shown under this link:- http://fo…

These are some considerations:- 1. Your question is too (too) general. 2. For example, see attachment. There is a difference if your home's frontage is at B, C, D or E. 3. Other considerations include how the water drains from the home out of the home premises. 4. Any water position e.g. large canal behind the home or if the home is facing a T-junction etc... 5. There are frankly too many unanswered questions. 6. Equally important is the top-view or helicopter view of outline of the whole house and whether the home is squarish /rectagular or same trapeezoid outline of walls. 7. Frankly, in such a "state"; might as well flip a coin: Heads (auspicious) Tails (inauspi…

My Bed room _______West______ |bed room door | | | T-------------T | || || || Bed Head| | ---------------------------- I am wondering if the white tiger is too strong in my bedroom. my bed is against the back wall. If lying on the bed, on the left side of the bed close to my wife's head, there's a window (with a aircon unit in it). further down that wall, next to the window, we hang apainting atabout max height of 2.0M and put a red crystal ona string attached to the ceiling. If lyng on the bed, to the right side (my side)of the bed, we hang 2 smaller paintings next to each other at a max height of about 1.8M. further down that wall, there's a white desk that…

1. Since I believe she (could) be in Malaysia; it is worth considering getting expert help i.e. from a Geomancer in your country. 2. As frankly, short description(s) like what you had mentioned; is difficult to evaluate upon the limited information given. As it is also looking at whether the river is parallel to; curved in or outwards; which direction the water flows in relation to her new home. 3. Usually, there is another element: especially for older homes close to a river is the concern of white termites - this is controllable and not Feng Shui.

1. Since this is a home office, you can treat the home office sector within the home's Flying Star Chart - especially since it is not a large area. 2. Thus, you can super-impose the Flying Star (pie chart or 9 grid) and determine the sector star influences within that sector based on the actual home's facing direction. 3. You can also apply the Eight House concept to see if you are able to sit facing a good direction especially: "Prosperity" and/or "Excellent" sector. Anonymous wrote: Dear Master, I would also like to know if you do onsite consulting for clients outside of your country. With thanks. 4. 1. Frankly, what you had mentioned; is beyond the scope of this General Advice Forum. 2. Either you have to Do it yourself (DIY) or seek expert help. 3. As for DIY, like everyone else; there are lots of concepts to both digest and make use of. And often, it is an uphill task. 4. Under the Holy Trinity of Luck:- 4.1. Heaven Luck = born with 4.2. Earth Luck = Feng Shui of the home and/or office 4.3. Human or man luck = relationship with family members, family support etc.. 5. Feng Shui is not a cure all. And even within Feng Shui: there are things like Shapes and Forms, Flying Star and even ba zi of bread winners in relation to the home etc... Anonymous wrote: Dear C…

These are some interesting links on the reversal of the earth's magnetic field. Although it may not happen sometime in the near future, at least... one day... when it happens; for Feng Shui practitioners (if earth still exists); Will have to first depend on the Shapes and Forms.. while a wide ranging debate much "worse" than the one that had happened in the 1990's where some AustralianGeomancers had the "wrong" idea that Flying star charts should be reversed just becauseof the experiment of "draining" the sink and water vortex is directly opposite that of the northern hemisphere... http://www.geomag.bgs.ac.uk/reversals.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geomagnetic_r…

1. Please be careful. There is no known crystal or stones that have such magic powers. 2. Maybe, we should not be reading too many Superman cartoons of kryptonite and it's effect on him. 3. In Singapore, many people were conned into buying a "magic" stone which claims to be able to cure cancer and other ailments. These victims learned the hard way with their hard earned money. 4. Cavet Emptor! Let the buyer, beware! 5. Remember: Charity begins at home. Might as well keep the money for a rainy day or bring family members for a sunday lunch treat! Why should we line the pockets of con-persons with our hard earned money. 6. Shhhhhh! Let you in on a secret... the Mo…

1. If you had done a Search using the SEARCH button on the TOP left frame in this forum you can easily find these resources:- 2. For example, it is simply commonsense that for most bedrooms the overhead beam is only a few inches "deep". 3. And commonsensedictates that no one sleeps so close to the bed-head frame. We have the bed frame, we have the pillow. And by the time we place our head on the pillow; the saying goes "fear not" your head will normallybe so far away from this "so called beam". Commonsense:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=20407&new= Other resources:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&…
