  1. Started by song,

Dear Song Kin San, Frankly, you can choose any of the 4 good directions. It does not really matter which belongs to which direction as best or not. As long as you sit face one of your good direction, you will enjoy luck from your suitable direction. Of course, we try to assoicate which type of sector is best for which. So for bedroom or sleeping position, obviously it is best for the health or longevity. However, it won't be wrong even if you choose to have your bed facing prosperity etc. Hope that helps. Hi Anon, Since most objects are defined by the colour, if you have nearly all items in your home not favouring you it is quite difficult to say change everything. Probably, change whatever you can, for example re-painting the rooms would be cheaper than repainting the car. So whatever you can change without costing too much money go ahead and do it first, those which you cannot afford to change, next time when you replace it then change the colours etc. In addition, since this is regarding martial discord, probably it will be a good ideal to seek counselling (non-feng shui method) to attempt to find out what's wrong in the relationship. I mean in terms of relationship, …

Hi Lynn, Eight House concept is all about suitability. There is really nothing you can do if a house isn't suitable to you except not to buy or stay in such a house. This is because even if a house is good, but if it does not suit you, it is like saying you can only obtain 25-50% of the luck from the house. So what is the point of buying such a house. The only thing I can say here is that if you are not the breadwinner of the house, then it is not as bad. This is because the breadwinner's suitability to the house is more important than the family members staying in the same home. However, if possible, you should try to avoid such a unsuitable house. Especially if it fac…

Hi Anon, For Eight House, this kind of opposite situations are quite common. Here is where you must apply the give and take approach. For example, the house should best fit the breadwinner earning most for the entire family. While the bedrooms should be suitable to other family members that will be staying there. So for example, if the breadwinner gets a Prosperity facing, even if he gets a lesser suitable bedroom ie spook / irritation, this should be fine. The breadwinner should then give the spouse a better room ie Health. That means that even if the spouse isn't that suitable to the house, she will draw luck from the more suitable bedroom. Other areas, you mu…

Hi Diana, For choice of tomb, you will have to use shapes and forms concept to determine which part of the land would be better. Probably, look out for like the Four Symbolic animals, where is the tortise protection, where is the open area, and many other shapes and form concept like water position, mountain position etc. Those are more important in the choice of a tomb location. The Eight House suitability isn't used for the dead, it is a concept for the living. Probably best, here to get someone who does tomb location geomancer as they can better advise you which is better position. Hope that helps. Dear Knight Elliott, Regarding the toilet in the center, unfortunately, there isn't much you can do unless you can move the toilet position to another location. The only thing you can do is keep the toilet door close and toilet seat cover down when not in use. Try to fix up other areas in your home that is fixable to increase luck from other areas so as to compensate for this flaw. Probably the corner from the wall would be the thing you should worry more. It is hard for me to tell you how you can block it, some suggestions would be if you can have some form of partition blocking the qi shi at the main door or some plants at the corner to break the shape of the poison a…

I understand that the pair of Piyao should be placed in the east sector of the home and with the head facing between 262.5 degrees and 277.5 degrees. Presently, that is how I place them in my home. However, when I visited astore selling fengshuiitems yesterday and chatted with the sales assistant, I was appalled to betoldthat the Piyao should be placed in the west sector and facing the 15 degrees radius. The sales assistant said it mustnot beplaced in the eastsector because it is the illness sector. I am very confused because some fengshui websites said it should be placed in the east sector facing west. What is your advice please? Thank you very much

Dear Master Lee, Recently I came across this condo in Woodlands, called CasaBlanca. I looked through your property review but did not managed to find this project in your review. I kind of like this project ( unit no. 22 ) and have attached the plan for your review. I'm a newbie in Fengshui and I've a hard time figuring out the facing of this unit. Hope you can enlighten me. Thanks and Regards Anthony

Dear Jill, Most importantly, if a new condo has been developed (and nearly ready) e.g. waiting for TOP and if we are allowed entry , it is best to bring all family members along to view the unit. Especially try to view the unit in the afternoon e.g. 3 or 4pm to check whether it is affected by the afternoon sun. Do note that because of the earth's axis tilt, there can be a slight shift in the sun's rays every six-months. Units that "soak" in lots of heat ... are practically "unliveable" as it may result in frequent quarrels and also it is not practical or cost effect to turn on the air-con unit all the time. The "rule-of-thumb" usually sets in. Often, needless to say, …

  12. Dear Ed, Generally, this can still be done especially if you find that this is one of the better or best positions within the bedroom. From a commonsense approach to Feng Shui, so long as one draws the curtain (for privacy) or if one has young children, avoid letting it be opened as children may climb over it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master Cecil Lee, In year 2005. every Feng Shui practioner claimed Main door facing North will enjoy good fortune throughout the year. Is there any feng shui enhancer which I can use to activate the luck. Mi wife is born in the year of Tiger (1962) is facing with a lot of work related problems in the office. The branch head and the head of department are giving her a lot of problems. It seem that few persons in the office are jealous about her position and trying to get her out from her position. Her colleagues are spreading uncalled remarks and criticisms about her. These are very strong indication of her weakness in her career. Is there any remedy to strenghten…

Also my ba zi report is as follows:- Birth Element Since you are a weak Wood, you don't want to be too weak otherwise you cannot take advantage of your Wealth Element. Thus, you should increase yourself with your favourable elements as follows. Favourable Elements Most Favourable Element Colour: blue/black/gray Favourable Element Colour: green/brown Unfavourable Elements Most Unfavourable Element Colour: white/gold Unfavourable Element Colour: red This is a very important concept for you to improve your luck. Dear Master Lee, A question on this topic about front door facing direction. I realised there are different method of calculating the best direction of a front door. Besides targeting on the breadwinner, the spouse should also be taken into consideration. For exampleif I use the 8-Element of the couple for calculation. If one of thembelongs to "Earth" and the otherbelongs to "Wood". Since Wood Enhances Fire and Fire Enhances Earth, is it true that the common direction for the couple is Fire which is "South"? Thus, the best combined direction for the above is South regardless of being one of the "bad" directions for either one of us? Its quite difficult to have one d…

Dear Anon, Frankly, there is no mircle feng shui solution for a successful sale of a business. So far only possible thing you can do is to try to choose luck dates or ensuring you wear more favourable colours during your meeting with the potential buyer. Probably only additional feng shui method is to quote some feng shui benefits. Maybe it will help change the buyer's mind. You will probably want to take a look at non-feng shui solution, ie painting the walls to make the place look clean and tidy. In addition, list out the reasons why the place is good and stress on it. Frankly, if the place is as good as you say, then probably you are not advertising it well enough …

Hi Anon, Frankly, you will need to identify what are the key problems with your life. Only then can you will you have the knowledge to attempt to improve your life. As I keep mentioning in the forum, a person has to review all his Heaven, Earth & Human luck. You need to see whether your problem arises from say your Heaven Luck (maybe you are in a very bad luck period this year). Or is it due to your home maybe having very bad feng shui or some illness or misfortune star etc. My best guess is that you either have one or both the problems in your Heaven Luck as well as Earth Luck. Plus a little bit of Human Luck (ie worrying too much). Sometimes, all these bad thin…

  21. Dear Francisco, There are two ways to look at it. If you sell things complementary to the needs for the dead, probably you will do quite well. If you don't, and, then you will definately not benefit from it. So if you think your business is affected by it, better move out to a better location. Don't know how else to advise you here. Dear Anon, In feng shui, as long as you cannot see the threat it no longer becomes a problem. In your case, given that you cannot do much about the arrangement or change to a better location, then whatever you can put that can help block or break the shape of the corner will definately help. As such your suggestion on the artificialplant will certainly help. It will also act as a decorative makes your office look nicer. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Usually, your office would have installed blinds. Simply draw the blinds and this is good enough : " if one cannot see it it no longer becomes a threat. As for the sharp corner of the pillar:- 1. from your illustration, it does not seem that the front pillar slices into the person. So should not be an issue. 2. furthermore, for a sharp corner in an office, usually after approximately 1 metre distance away from it, the sha qi is pretty weak. Even the two sha qi at the back of you should not be an issue. In addition, if one has a high chair, the two sha qi at the back is a non-issue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Thanks for the sketch! The "overhead" beam that you had mentioned (illustrated) is very common situation. If one looks carefully, with a pillow, the head will (never) be under this beam. If so, there is no issue at all! It is not the same as having an overhead beam right across one's body or the overhead beam is in the middle of the bed. If so, this is a concern. But in your illustration, to be sure, one can even pull the bed head further out or leave a few inches gap between the bedhead and the wall. If so, there is no issue in neutralising it. Yes, you are correct, traditionally, all the methods you had mentioned are to neutralise a beam. While the …
