Thank You Master Lee for your prompt reply. The B# is 4. So its mountain #8, water #6 and base #4 at my main entrance (not the facing). It is a HDB flat. Entrance door also facing a wall (the kitchen wall). Must I activate the mountain #8 at the entrance? If yes, what should I place? Thank You Emily free-advice Listmanager wrote: From: Cecil Lee Dear Emily, Given that the mountain star is #8, water is not a good idea here, since firstly water at an auspicious MS#8 can drown or "drop the mountain into a hole(water)" thus making it inauspicious. If you have a landed property or if your is a landed property, then landscaping with rock garden would be favourable to furth…

Dear Anon, Please see below:- If the compass direction falls closer to one wall, the mountain star should be placed on this wall. The rationale is that there is a conflict here. The front door should be activated by a water star. e.g. outside the front door, it should be low and clear space. Placing a mountain star inside the front door does not achieve the above purpose i.e. a waste of time and money. In addition, what happens if the solid object falls off and hits the head of someone coming into the main entrance door. Ideally, it should be objects like a paper weight and immovable e.g. without wheels. It can be of any materials e.g. a solid rock object, cr…

Dear Emily, Emily Ho wrote: My entrance has M8 W6 B4. I am staying in a HDB 5-rm flat. Can I activate the M8 with a small table fountain put at the corner of my main entrance next the the main door? Pls advise before I purchase the fountain. Am I right topresume that M8 you are referring to the Mountain Star 8, right? If I am right, then why do you want to activate the Mountain Star with water? That is not correct way to activate the auspicious mountain star. :- 1) Mountain Star wants amountain feature or solid block or mass. ie a picture of a mountainbackground or anything solid (maybe like a rock/crystal feature or anything that hassufficient mass (heavy wei…

Dear Vincent, In my opinion, since you are so interested in Flying Star Feng Shui, it is best to learn (study) or take up a course on Flying Star Feng Shui. This is because, in order to answer your question takes much time and duplication of resources. For the enhancement of Step 3: What are it's weakness. I am very sure or confident that if you do find out the Water or Mountain star based on such a guideline, you will be better off in your quest for knowledge. Clue: It would be naive to only activate either Water or Mountain star. But what is more important is(are) does the location fit the criteria for activating a water or mountain star. For example, if a m…

1. Frankly, take this as "hear-say information. 2. Such Feng Shui concepts should be renegated into the trash-bin. 3. In essence; this type of Feng Shui is akin to Kindergarten type of Fung Sway. 4. If an overseas Chinese was forced to migrate from Communist China; came to the shores of Singapore in 1930's.. may be fully impressed by this statement. 5. Today, not anymore.. but rather "be prepared to be laughed at". P.S. My toes are partially laughing... still doing so... until now....

Futher to what I had mentioned, This are the traditional guidelines (note - Not bible, but guidelines):- Usually, the best facing direction of a home is one's Excellent direction. 2nd best facing direction is Prosperity. Even if it is the facing direction, this is equally find nowadays ("desperate people -desperate measure - since it is not so easy to find a house that fits to a T"). Often, for a CEO or Managing Director; a FS practitioner would try to (if possible) orientate his /her table facing these two best "work directions". The other two directions, often, is for the bed placement. But, often, it is still good to face the Excellent or Prosperity directions. …

Hi Carmen, Generally for landed property, then it is usally the facing of the house itself most of the time where your drive into the home. This is usually considered the frontage of the house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

I have only 1/2-4/2 time and those peoples say this year TIGER is not appropriate to move when TIGER year started. 1. Look at it this way: Chinese is one of the four oldest civilizations. And I am sure, in the last five centuries till-now; there are already many cycles with the Tiger year that comes and goes. 2. And we cannot just say that just because Tiger year is no good; cannot move, cannot get married, cannot have children. Might as well say: don't bother to work in the Tiger year or travel then. 3. One common saying goes: one man's meat is another man's poiso…

These are some considerations: 1. As we all know, we live in a real world. 2. In real world situations, like you have discovered, there is no such thing as a PERFECT date. 3. Even for any home, there is really no such thing as a 100% perfect home. 4. Here, auspicious dates are considered as NICE-to have. And not a must-have. 5. Often, even choosing a date for two persons may be difficult. Not considering selecting dates for three or more persons. 6. In tradition, it is good to select a date that is auspicious for the breadwinner (usually the Male breadwinner). 7. And nowadays, it is nice to also consider auspicious date (IF possible) for the spouse - but again, it is NICE…

Hi, if we do the move in ritual before the 7th month and on an auspicious date. Then later if my renov fully complete in August, does it still matter which date we move in after that? There doesn’t seem to be any auspicious date for me in early August.

Here are a few things to keep in mind: 1. If the breadwinner and spouse have already stayed in the new or resale home, especially if they have: 1.1. Used the built‑in stove to cook a meal 1.2. Taken a bath there 1.3. Slept overnight in the new or resale home 2. If all three of these activities happened on the same day, then there’s really nothing more to discuss — it’s already considered “moved‑in.” 3. If you bring in a used washing machine but don’t actually use it, then in a practical sense, it’s generally fine. 4. The same idea applies to an old or existing dining table brought into the new home. As long as you don’t use it for proper d…

Dear William, For move in date, what is usually needed is the Name, Gender & Dateof birth(& if possible hour of birth) of the Breadwinner and Spouse. You will also need the date range which you plan to move into the house. ie Jul 2005 to Aug 2005 etc. It would seem that your house will be completed about a year later, so why not look for the date nearer that time. Unless of course, you meant Aug 2004. We have an auspicious date for two person to help you narrow down the best possible date for that month. You can use that to help you find a move in date, start of renovation etc. But it will require which months to search into. Something similiar to our Monthly…

Dear Wasis, It would be nice to select an auspicious date. But if things has past, it is best to forget about it. Anyway, the date may not be very inauspicious or inauspicious. It could instead be average or mixed blessing dates. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Original Title: Move In 入宅 or Move House搬家/移徙 Dear Master Lee, I would like to check is there any difference between these 2 terms, move-in and move house. a. Can I move in for a night stay over and move house on a later date? b. Can I still move in and move house on the same date but the date clash with my son zodiac? c. If specific zodiac clash on that day, not looking at specific hours does not clash? Still ok to move in at that auspicious hours? Thanks, BR/Brandon

1. Charcoal stove = traditional "portable" stove. 2. Portable gas stove = modern, non-traditional. 3. Para 1; considered NICE-to-Do. Not a MUST-Do. 4. Frankly, in my opinion, if you are considering Para2; above; you may be the very first in Singapore, JB, Batam and even in the Far East. And maybe, one day, this becomes a new tradition. 5. In my opinion, if one does not do Para 1; no need to go so far as to search for another more modern portable gas stove. 6. In fact, for the last 20 years or so; there are so many variants of the "lighted" stove:- 6.1. The most common method is buy one at the common neighbourhood store and add charcoal wrapped in red paper and bring…

Hi Sifu, I have been told by one of my wife's family member to do these for my moving-in ritual. Is this neccessary? Based on my wife and my birthdate, 22nd December this year is consider an auspicious date for us to move-in I should move my furniture i.e. existing bed, wardrobe before my official move-in date, which is anytime before 22nd December So my question is, is it really important to move my existing bed and furniture a day before and not the exact move-in date? 1. More importantly, it is best that your stove in the kitchen has been set up and ready to be used on the first day of move-in. 2. The common procedures for the Chinese (Move-in) procedure can be found under this link:- info.geomancy.net Quote: Can i buy a gas tong before move into new house? Where is the wealth position located? Please advise. 1. Generally, it is acceptable to buy a gas tong. Often as mentioned above, it is best to use the primary stove i.e. mounted in the kitchen. 2. There are many different types of wealth position. Under Flying star, try to check where is your mountain star #8 and water star #8. These are suppose to be your current wealth locat…
