Dear Anon, Yes, some Feng Shui books often indicate that when we cook, we should be able to see who is coming into the kitchen. This is a commonsense approach: 1. Not often, we will leave the entrance door open. But, sometimes, when we cook, the noise may drown e.g. a bell or someone calling us at the main entrance. Especially so if it is any of our loved ones ... especially the very young children who may have just came back from school. 2. Should someone have left the entrance door open, we may see "an intruder" come in ..eg towards us.. (Most unlikely.. but this is what some of the book(s) say... Frankly, most of the time Para 1 and 2 does not happen. As often, we …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hello... my question is regards to the placement of dragon and tiger picture puzzle. It's me and my husband's I chinese sign. Thank you very much in advance. Actually, just treat it as a typical painting. As long as the dragon or tiger isn't to like fighting each other(which represents disharmonious - not good for relationship.)Or looking too fierce looking (which can be a sha qi).You can treat it as a normal painting and hang it where you like it just as a decorative item. If puzzle is has conflict or fierce looking meaning, then better not to display it. In feng shui, as long as the picturedoes not have any bad meaning associated when yo…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I am currently working on the plans for a new 2-storied house to be built this year. Thank you for advising me as to whether I should consider each story separately for feng-shui orientations. Or do I consider the centre of the house regardless of the stories? 1) If the 2 story house belongs entirely to 1 owner, then you should take the facing of the house from the frontage of the entire house, and the center point will remain the same for both levels. 2) If the house is divided into two separate owners, then you each will have their main door entrance just like an apartment. Therefore, the center point and facing will be based on the individ…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hi.. I have a question to ask about stove and toilet.. As per attached picture, will there be any leakage of wealth? Cos that is the only favorable position in my kitchen to place the stove, and in order to avoid the toilet entrance from facing the stove, I have purposly build a wall to block it. Would need your advice.. Thank you.. Generally, as long as these two worst setup is avoided, should be ok:- 1. The stove does not face the toilet bowl directly. 2. The stove is not located just behind a wall sharing the toilet bowl. The rest depends on other factors. Given that there is at least a walkway and wall, the stove would not face the toi…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Could you convert my DOB for me, I was born on May 4, 1968 of the Chinese calender and I would like to know what was the Western calender? Some people told me it is May 30 and some told me June 01. Based on the chinese lunar calendar:- Lunar: 4th day, 5th month of1968 Western: 30 May 1968 So 30 May 1968 is the correct western date of birth for you. If western: 1 Jun 1968, then your lunar is 6th day , 5th month of 1968. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear MK, MK MK wrote: May I know how to calculate the 5 elements? Frankly, this is rather complicated as you need to determine the number of elements you have for each elements, assign the element strengthen, and take into consideration the combinations and changes in elements. The simple way is take the total element and number of each element. Factor in at least the weightage of total element strength and individual element weightage and you should have a fair percentage breakdown. Initially I liked it as it makes to look your room big. The best way is to have a false ceiling which will cover the beam entirely. The flute is the next best solution. Dear Master Thanks for you advice. The house is a Period 6 house (built around 1968) and my best direction (prosperity) is north west. The house front faces South east, the back is towards north west and the toilet is in the centre of this north west sector next to the back door. I have been lighting a candle in the toilet and placing water in a wooden bowl inside as well. Will this help? Also, can a iron bell or windchimes help to activate this section of the house for me? I hope you can advise me further. Thanks again. Regards Peter

Thank you in advance. If the South is a good sector and it falls in your office/room then probably you can activate the sector for the career. However, if it is your kitchen, then how to activate it even if it is good for your career when you can't use it? So you probably have to activate other sectors that you are able to activate. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Please can you advise me on where to install my water feature. The best place to place a water feature that is auspicious for Feng Shui is to find where your water wealth location is within your house.
