Hi, firstly according to the work position report from this site state that based on my birthdate 6th May 1966 (3.15pm), my bestwork position are north-west and west. Currently I sit facing south which is my 'spook' direction and my back is a wall. Due to the design of my office, I can only change to sit facing west but my back will be the office window. I thought having the back to a wall is better than a window. So, which is better, facing my spook direction with my back to the wall or facing my best direction with my back to the window. Can anyone advise. Thanks. Fred Chan

Hi Ms. Lee, Thank you very much for your reply. What you have written seems to impact my luck in my work and health directly. I became hypothyroid after moving in my home just over a year ago. Your reply mentioned that Qi is compressed near the center of the house (X marking) and that I have direct paths of Qi (markings AB and EF). Dear Judith, 1. In my opinion, I feel that if the aloe vera is a `soft' (short) plant. And although it has some thorns, these are equally soft. 2. My husband and I are West group people. Since NE & SW are Devil's Gate & Devil's Back Door, does it mean we cannot activate these corners since these are our good compass directions? Or only windchimes are not advisable?

Dear Donna, 1. Yes, based on your description, this is indeed a threat to your home. The test is to stand inside the house looking out of the main door. If you can see the threat coming, then it is a threat or poison arrow. 2. If there is a small roof or rain shelter at the frontage of your house you can use a 6 rod metal wind chime to neutralise it. Am new to Feng Shui..believe it is pertinent, as is other Asian studies. Eight house AND Bedroom location show SouthEast as very bad..Death direction...this is where my bedroom is. Dear Ramdev, Firstly, this is a modern commercial invention. However, I personally do not see any harm in hanging it. Usually, (more of a privacy issue); one may hang it inside the door. In general, the significance of three coins is as follows:- 1. the number 3 represents : Wood element 2. 3 coins is made of metal: Metal element Under the destructive cycle of Five Elements Concept: Metal destroys Wood = Wealth. Dear Donna, Please see below:- Based on your description, it does not seem that your main door is in any direct threat unless:- 1. there are supporting posts or struts or lone lamp posts that slices thru your main door. 2. I believe, there is usually a personal compound at the frontage of your house or main door. Para 1 is the main concern. Dear Mr. Lee I was born between 27th Jan.-13th Feb 1953. So my kua no 3 and my best direction is East. Since I did not know of Feng Shui at that time, I rented a house in July 2001 till June 2003 having SW main door. Since then I am facing hardships in career, money and fortune is declining. As per the book by Lilian Too I should face East to enjoy prosperity. I was following up-isntalled an acquarium in the north, red light in the South. hi cecil, just read thru' Fire-Dragon Express article on Feng Shui for Business which mentioned wood fuels fire. My kitchen in SE has white wall(metal) and very light grey(is it metal or water?)floor. Stove will line along the south wall. Dear Joanna, Mirrors are said to reflect qi. In general, usually it is not advisable for the mirror to face directly the bathroom door. The believe here is that it may reflect out what was inside the toilet. More commonly, it is ok to place it at the side of the door. E.g. when one enters the toilet, it is on the right or left side. In that combination is yellow carpet OK for him (weak earth person)? You said the red (fire element) is more a acceptable. I know, but how much red I have to put in his room? 33,3% of whole room, or some details will be OK? Like you see, the bedroom is on the West (metal element), Metal exhaust Earth... Dear Ramaa, In my opinion, every location is a `wealth sector'. And it is important to know what is good or bad at this sector. If one uses Compass School (Flying Star) Feng Shui, each sector has three elements. And depending on a sector and location, we can either try to neutralise a sector (if it has bad stars) or enhance the sector. For example, if a sector has bad stars such as #5 or #2, then we try to neutralise these elements if they create an imbalance at that sector.
