1. The best approach is to apply Shapes and Forms and Compass School Feng Shui (Flying Star). 2. Thus, if the person who has told you that your swimming pool is located in an inauspicious location and due to their review as mentioned under Para 1, then, the best way is to draw up a Flying Star chart to analyse the sector's Flying Star numbers atthe swimming pool. Here, you may derive the cure after the assement is done.

1. When applying authentic Traditional Feng Shui, and if you are strictly applying Compass School Feng Shui, then you should be using the "magnetic compass". 2. Not to complicate things, for example near the equator, the magnetic north is nearly equal to the geographic north. Even in other areas, there is a slight deviation, only. 3. As mentioned under Para 1, above, authentic Traditional Compass School Feng Shui, is where, as you had given an example, your frontage should be and is North not South, while the South is the back of the home. This is particuarly so, if you are TAKING a reading using a normal compass (or regular compass). 4. Not to be confused with the Chi…

1. Under the Eight House concept, try to check whehter your son is an East or West group. And depending on his being East or West; thus if he is an East group person, then in general the bedroom at south could be a better choice. 2. In addition, it is nice-to-have him facing a good direction when studying. Free reports are available, here http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports.htm 3. Other considerations may include having just moved-in and perhaps, may take him sometime to adjust to his new home environment. 4. And yeah, the greatest distraction are: both TVs and playing computer games... These are the two "killers" in this modern age... that works against a child's…

1. The professional approach is to apply Flying star Feng Shui. And the most advantages is to see especially where the water star #8 is; and if it can be activated. 2. For example, if the water star is at the living room area and a "suitable" place can be allocated for the fish tank then this is the most ideal location. In addition, in general, locations that a fish tank can be placed are locations that have water star #1 or even locations where there are bad earth e.g. if the living room location has #5 and/or #2 and /or #9. 3. Please note that Gua numbers are secondary to the above. Even if one's gua is not suited to having a water position in a home, but if say a loc…

Are you referring to the corner of the bookcase - at an angle (poison arrow) aimed at your bed? Usually, the corner of a bookshelf is made of wood; and the approximate poison arrow is around 2 feet distance. While a full concrete wall would exert a poison arrow of 1 metre distance. Often just move the bookshelf further away if possible.

From a Chinese perspective, there are "two concerns" here:- 1. This is more relevant. Three openings especially if they are totally in-line often means wealth coming in and exiting directly. Thus, it is said that money comes and goes out immediately. It is thus good that qi should not be in a direct path especially "leaking" from one side to the other or vice versa. 2. The Chinese belief that "spirits" especially bad spirits can only go in a straight line. Thus, in many instances, you will notice that Chinese platform bridges are always "turning" 90 degrees until it reaches the final span. And equally, landscaping in a garden leading towards a door is often in an "S' cu…

1. There are two sides of the coin, here. 2. In traditional symbolism interpretation, some of the older generation FS practitioners have written that if one keeps a (lone) horse figurine; it should be facing the main door. Here, under symbolism, it is said that this would imply that the breadwinner would have opportunities for travelling be it for business or pleasure. 3. Thus, if we use the above argument, then, check which direction the horse is galloping and see if the painting can face towards the door and "imagine that it goes out of the home". Some take this as getting the horses be it 5 or 100 - to gain "opportunities". As these horses are either wild or no one i…

1. Placement of a fish tank can be both (1)scientific &/or (2) based on Yin and Yang concepts; &/or (3) Shapes and Forms and lastly by personal feel or even trial and error Feng Shui. 2. Recently, someone also asked whether their placement is correct. Thus if it purely on a SCIENTIFIC way, then I have mentioned that one has to apply things like Flying Star Feng Shui. Check whether the water star #8 or alternatively the water star #1 is in the "right place". Right place is an appropriate location especially in the living room. 3. Even if the water star e.g. WS#8 is located in a bedroom, many would feed awkward having a fish tank with fishes looking at you when y…

1. You have to determine your Ba Zi element, first:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-personal-element.htm 2. As ultimately, your ba zi element will determine whether you are a weak or strong element. And your element could belong to either: metal, water, wood, fire or earth. As being a "water dog" is not enough information.

1. According to Chinese astrology, yes, the rat and horse between themselves are SUPPOSE to be the worst pairing. 2. Auto-suggestion and self-fullfilling prophecy:- 2.1. If your boss is not "into" Chinese astrology or does not take it seriously, then it is best NEVER to bring up the subject nor show him nor bring to his attention the "incompatiblity" of both animal signs. 2.2. The greatest issue is to avoid " auto-suggestion" and "self-fullfilling" prophecy... in your situation. Anonymous wrote: Hi. Can anyone help me. I was born in the year of the rat. Feb 3 1985. Since this is the back of the house and not the front entrance, the concept of roving eyes would not apply unless that door is your main entrance. Some past resources on this subject can be found, here:-http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Roving_Eyes_or_Infidelity

Q: 1) Best bed head directions - thre were 3 bed-head directions highlighted in blue. I also saw the comments "All including Jodi". Does that mean all the 3 bed-head directions are suitable for all the family members? Or is it only the bed-head facing east is good for Jodi but not the other two (i.e. facing north and south). A1: So happens that all your family members belong to the East group. And the 3 bed-head directions equally applies to all of your family members. If you look at the extreme left charts, I had placed numbers to the study/work tables because, it is much easier to arrange the study/tables. But I did not indicate any numbers to the bed-head. This is …

There are two types of Flying Star analysis:- 1. The most common is the horizontal Flying Star Feng Shui where a home can be classified as belonging to one of the 15 directions or mountains. 2. If I am not mistaken, you mentioned yours is a home and does not seem to have a floor or storey number. 3. Please re-read the objective of that report. If I am not mistaken, the report does mention that it is FOR apartments. The report is meant for analysis using VERTICAL Flying Star. Therefore, there is no relevance to a landed property - if you choose to apply it to a landed property. This is in-correct. Anonymous wrote: Hi, I entered 3310 house number address then the year…

Please refer to my earlier reply to your separate posting. First and foremost, priority goes to the Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Head facing a good direction is "nice-to-have" and not a "must-have". In general, it depends on what type of home one stays in:- 1. landed property Here; if you have a garden, then your landscaping can form a "profile" of the missing corner. And depending on the extend, sometimes even a strategic lamp post can be used as a marker. Thus from a helicopter view, one can see the "missing corner" filled up. 2. Apartments Usually, and depends on the interior of the home, mirror in-side the home (north) sector can help to "extend" the missing corner. Alternatively, depending on circumstances, a concave mirror may be placed outside to "suck" back the missing corner wealth. Some Chinese practitioners ask their clients to place certain objects a…

1. For your first question, not a major concern so long as the cover for the sewerage hole is fully sealed. As we don't want "gas" e.g. methane to escape from the man-hole. 2. It is never advisable to have the septic tank around the center of the home. Given that logically how do you drain off excess "gas - methane or other gases". Your second question, is a more important concern. While the first can easily be "rectified" i.e. make sure that the gas or dirty air don't flow and contaminate cooked food in anyway. Wasis S. wrote: Dear Cecil, Is it considered a leak if a sewerage pipe (from toilet bowl to septic tank) running under a kitchen? But the pipe is not under th…

1. There are three major considerations if Feng Shui is applied to evaluate the new private property:- 1.1. Commonsense Approach to Feng Shui Morning and Afternoon sun is a major consideration for any home especially for countries like Singapore at or close to the equator. Majority of the time it is either the master bedroom or two bedrooms of the homes that will be "bathed" by afternoon sun. (Direct morning sun is not ideal but not as bad as afternoon sun. This forum has touched on some of the concerns of afternoon sun and it has an effect on persons living in the home. For children, their studies - the heat... 1.2. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui Location, location, lo…
