1. One has to understand that Flying Star Feng Shui is dynamic based on "time dimension". 2. Even for a home or any given home: each home or sector in a home mathematically has the following variable:- Under the 20 Year flying star: there are:- Mountain star: variable 1 Water star : variable 2 Base (Palace star) : variable 3 You mentioned the Year star: variable 4 There are such things as: Monthly star: variable 5 Daily star : variable 6 Hourly star: variable 7 Seconds star: variable 8 3. Mathematically:there are an interplay of at least 8 variables and only when there are an unfortunate clusters of #5 ... then one is in deep shit. Do not play loud music or have…

1. Usually, the most common method to determine whether it could be used at that sector is thru the 20 Year Flying Star chart. 2. For example: if the main entrance area has nasty stars like:- 2.1 #5 and/or #2 and/or with #9 then RED will further inflame either #5 (misfortune/sickness) or #2 (sickness) 2.2 On the other hand, if the sector has #3 or even #4; RED would be good at that sector. 3. "Rule-of-thumb" method: some just ignore what I had mentioned above - and go for it......

For 2: the best is to close the door when not in use. For 1: if the toilet location has bad flying star numbers; that would indirectly be good. Such questions are something like: my earlier example of a person who has 7 grown up family members. He is now driving a saloon car (capacity of 5 persons). How are you going to squeeze the other two family members in that car - I wonder. Go get a Deluxe MPV with a seating capacity of 7 to 8 persons, then. Anonymous wrote: Dear Master Cecil lee, I have study your course note that mentioned about our toilet. Casanova W. wrote: Any idea why Resorts World sentosa will be open on 14 Feb 2010 at 12.18pm. Was it really a auspicious hour or just because of Cantonese saying "striking prosperity" which would bring good luck. Yes, you are absolutely correct! It has to do with the phonetic sound like "Cantonese word". Usually .18 or even .19 or .38 or 39 is chosen after the suitable time of the"Boss" has been choosen. For example; his best time on that day is between 11am to 1pm. For first-time open door procedure(s); usually .38 or .39 is preferred. As 3 in mandarin means UP and "mountain". And the "8" prosperity and "9" mandarin for longevity. Many in Singapore bid for either lo…

1. It is best to look at this issue based on the concept of the Holy Trinity of Chinese Luck system:- 1.1 Heaven Luck - what one is born with (and the dreaded "prediction" of Luck for or against a person. 1.2 Earth Luck - Feng Shui of the home and office. 1.3 Human or Man Luck - factors. 2.1 Amongst all the above Three "forms of Holy Trinity of Luck". The Heaven Luck segment has the most number of escape clauses. From things like education, one's surroundings - shaped by family, friends; and some even say things like pilanthropy - doing good etc.. or karma sort of thing. 2.2 Under Heaven Luck also one must never fall under : auto-suggestion and self-fullfilling proph…

1. If one is trying to DIY; then one of the first report(s) especially for the Male and Female breadwinner(s) should be considered:- The Eight House Report: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-8h.htm Usually, from this report; especially the Male breadwinner's best facing direction should be considered. 2. The forum has lots of resources like what is considered as the facing direction etc... 3. Question like should the master bedroom be suitable to the Male breadwinner or sometimes both male and female breadwinners have different directions, then what? 4. If you want to DIY, you really (really) have to be patient and read up lots of resources. 5. Fo…

I do hope that you are not practising one of those "fixed template" ba gua sort of thing. Where incredibly one lays a fixed template with things like North = Career etc... onto a layout plan. Please go thru the following resources:- * Eight House or Flying Star * Flying Star Feng Shui * Flying Star Feng Shui as a Diagnostic Tool

1. Some Geomancers consider "water" in the bedroom as:- 1.1. Some defined water as a Yin element : thus to them water is not suitable to be used in a "yin" location e.g. such as a bedroom. Here, it is a "static" painting, and not real moving water. 1.2. There are some who consider a painting of a water fall, as "moving" water ... so to them their interpretation is that since a bedroom should be for rest "yin"; then moving water = Yang is not suitable in a bedroom environment. 2. Frankly, these are the two most common interpretations by different Geomancers. Again, there is no right or wrong answers. See which or both appeal to best to the lay person. 3. What is really…

These are some considerations:- 1. If your approach is thru the Compass School of Feng Shui; then it is best to draw up a 20 Year Flying Star Chart and find out exactly what are the Flying Star numbers at the northwest area (sector):- 1.1. If that sector has the Water Star #8; and depending on the Mountain # and Base # stars; etc... 2. Otherwise, what you had writte…

These are my comments: 1. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui: Symbolically, it looks like your work-table faces the same direction as the table in your boss room. This is a plus point. 2. Compass School of Feng Shui: 2.1. If you know your best facing direction (e.g. under the Eight House concept) and this new facing direction of your work-table is favourable; again this is another plus point. Here, you need to do some homework such as using the ordinary compass to find the orientation. 2.2. Most likely, this is beyond you; as usually, a Flying Star chart can be plotted to check the various sectors and Flying Star influence.

1. This link has some resources on the placement of the kitchen stove:-http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Kitchen_Stove_%26_More Uma S. wrote: any remedy if i have no other go but cook facing south pl advice on my e mail 2. Usually the most sensible thing is to check the layout of the kitchen to see if it is posible or feasible for it to face another direction. Otherwise, this is a "physical" thing and hardly any remedy for it.

These are some considerations:- 1. You can generate the Eight House report to check on How suitable this house is to usually the male breadwinner under this Free link:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-suitablehouse.htm 2. For DIY, frankly, you have to do more reading and if possible apply both the Shapes and Forms Feng Shui as well as the Flying Star Feng Shui.

These are some of the considerations:- 1. Based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, your bed layout is in-line with the shape of the interior in relation to the walls, bed-head area; windows and main door. Thus this is generally a good layout plan. 2. At 5th storeys high there is no major concern of sha qi from the physical point of view. At ground floor; the concern has more to do with "wandering vehicles" i.e. vehicles that could "slam" into the buidling e.g. road accident or high speed out of control vehicles. 3. Thus, strictly from the Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, a gentle curved window seems "majestic" and makes the entire home bright from both sides i.e. large facing d…

These are some considerations:- 1. The Key success factor is First Choice: based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. And critically, for a bedroom, one has to visualise how qi flow and where is the dead qi of a bedroom. 1.1. For example; please see attachment. The areas marked in RED are considered as Dead Qi area. Where assuming that without turning on the air-con to circulate in bedrooms: Master Bedroom, Bedroom 2 and or Bedroom 3; these areas highlighted in RED is not favourable for the bed-head to be placed close to such areas. 1.2. Such areas are ideally locations for wardrope. Unless as mentioned under Para 1.1. if an air-con is turned on all the time; then there …

For example, it (the dining table) would be the first time a guest would see whe…

1. Please refer to another similar thread:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=27373&new= 2. It relates to "Commonsense-Feng Shui". The most obivious is to have a neat and tidy kitchen cum service yard area. And perhaps, some door as another user wanted to install in the above thread. 3. Commonsense dictate that in most situations; it is highly unlikely or impractical for a home owner to close the door be ita sliding or swinging door most of the time. However, in the event that one has guests, then; one could easily close this door. Especially in a practical world, one still has to hang clothes unless one uses a washing machine c…

1. If you are referring to a fixed template that is suppose to be super-imposed onto a layout plan; where e.g. North = career, SW = romance etc... then this is a modern invention. 2. This modern invention originated in Taiwan around the 1980's. 3. Traditional Feng Shui does not use such a model. 4. Best to expand your studies or research elsewhere.

These are some considerations: 1. There are no cures for facing a good or bad direction. Why? Commonsense says that you either face a good direction or not. There is no if's or but's, here. 2. Are there known cures available for this theory of good directions? Check out this link:The Three-Step-Approach 3. You have to apply other concepts like the Flying Star etc.. to try and maximise luck from elsewhere....
