Can you help me evaluate the following house fengshui? - House is a corner lot around the bend (as indicated on Google maps, refer IMG_6656). - Road wrapping the right side of the house is two way traffic; incoming traffic is on the side of the road that is further away from the house, and the outgoing traffic on the side closer to the house. The road leading away from the house normally has cars parked on the side (refer picture IMG_6664), it’s a relatively long road which then joins another road perpendicular to it with houses along that road. - Adjacent to the back of the house is a neighbour on higher land. === As road names were clearly show…

Can you help me understand the good and bad luck of this home and what I need to do to correct the problems according to Feng Shui. One major problem is my mothers health and for myself, not being able to find the right partner for marriage. Can you help me correct …

There seems to be a discrepancy on which way to take the compass reading in order to get the facing palace and exact direction to plot natal flying stars. Some say, take it at the front door in the threshold, while others say you need to take the direction from the center of the home. If taking the direction from the center of the home is accurate, why would anybody angle their door to change the incoming direction? Please clarify which os most accurate and why. Thanks

Question: If for permanent place, it is advisable that we engage u to view onsite before buying correct ? Frankly, not compulsory. As there are some who do this, while others purchased, then consider a FS audit. Most people go in, feel good… and… well, that’s the majority of it, lol.

I have a SW1 house that is facing an open field and a river. It was built before deeds were created, so likely around the late 1800's making it a period 1 house initially. An addition was added to the back sometime in the early to mid 1900's. When I moved in, I considered it to be a Period 8 house because they had renovated the entire house. Upon moving in, between 2021 and 2025 I have completely remodeled the house (moved the kitchen to NE1, added a sliding door to the back at N2, added a new roof, took out the floor down to the dirt in the back portion, took down a wall, remodeled the attic into a bedroom, painted everything, dug out the back of the house for better wat…

Hi Master I am attaching my floor plan. Overall you can see there are 17 steps here, including one landing between 13th and 14th. You can also see here that the 17th step while on the same level as upper floor, it forms part of the stairs. could you please let me know if 1. Steps will be recounted after landing ie the 17th step becomes the 5th 2. If recounted there are only 12 steps to middle landing, is this unlucky? And what can be done about this? thank you

Hello master, I want to ask you which is a better place for dining room? A good sector according to 8 mansions Sheng Qi (also Sheng Qi for husband, and Tien Yi for wife) with bad flying stars 6(mountain) 6 3(water) (it is the southwest sector, and I put a fireplace there) or a bad sector according to 8 mansions Huo Hai (also Huo Hai for husband, and Wu Gui for wife) with good flying stars 8(mountain) 4 1(water) (it is the south sector, and stove is also there)? Does it make any harm to be a fireplace (electric one) in Sheng Qi sector? Thank you very much

Dear Cecil, I have learned some basic Feng Shui through books and video (still learning). I realize that many high rise apartment in Malaysia design in such that either toilet or kitchen just beside the main door (entrance). Is there any feng shui clash? Normally main entrance should be good area for the owner based on the KUA number, but sharing same grid with toilet and kitchen. Just wonder. Thanks.

Hello master Lee, I am designing a house and I have this question from you: Is it ok to put washing machine (laundry) in southeast sector, with fixed flying stars 4-8-5? Is it also ok to have a door (to garden, for bringing clean laundry out)? This is not a good sector for us, since we both are west group people. The house is facing southwest, period 9. Thank you very much

Older architecture examples: (it looks like at some point the structure may have been refit with modern materials, but I'm not sure) Contemporary architecture: Columns, posts, and pillars are considered to be sources of sha qi. However, they are also the most practical and inexpensive way to provide a generous overhang to protect buildings from rain and sun while creating outdoor living space. They have often been featured throughout the history of Chinese architecture. A central concept of feng shui I've learned from this site is to remember common sense. I'm wondering how Chinese architecture may ha…

Hi Master Cecil, Im trying to find a good date to move in, and according to online tong shu, 20th October 2025 is an auspicious day to move in. But when I put in the 30 Days Free Auspicious Date, the main owner date for 20th is inauspicious. According to the free auspicious date calculator, date 22nd October is a good day for all of us, but in Tong shu, 22nd October 2025 moving date is an inauspicious day. Which one should we follow for moving in date? As half of the family members are in school on weekdays, should we wait for all family members to be home to do the moving in ceremony( around 3pm plus) or should main breadwinner and myself do the move in c…

Hello Master, I’m considering a southwest-facing flat. In front there is a tall building with a thin vertical structure that rises above the rooftop into a triangular point. The structure is flat and thin, with its broad side facing my flat (see photo). It is a little to the side — about two units away — so I can see it from the main door, but it is not directly perpendicular. The rooftop of that building is about the same height as my unit’s floor, while the vertical structure extends taller than my flat. May I ask if this is considered good or bad feng shui? Thanks!

Appended by Cecil Lee - I have hidden these information: Block X, [Some Avenue] / Block X? and Block Y. "There are numerous occasions when a message was shared asking for advice that included specific Block and Street names. Later, after a response was given, the request was made to delete the message. Wherever feasible, I have taken out any identifying details. However, I will not comply with the request to erase the post." +++ Hi feng shui masters, I'm looking at a potential home at Block X, [Some Avenue] . The building is a high-rise, but as I've seen from the satellite map and taken a real picture, the access balcony (corridor) faces Block Y…

I am looking to buy this house, the main door faces away from the road, but when I go to the kitchen, there is a carpark behind which seems to come directly at the house. I have attached a photo of what looks like from the kitchen. Is there any issue from the google maps that you see? Also this unit is on the second floor. Really need your help in this. Thank you for your help!! Added by Cecil Lee: I have deleted the two streetmap attachments to ensure privacy.

Hi Master Cecil, I am looking for a used car. Supposedly black would be my preference but it has been sold out and I am left with one in red colour which fits my bill. But based on my ba zi report, red is my unfavourable wealth element. Should I not proceed with the purchase? I attach herewith some snippets of my bazi report. Your advice and help would be very much appreciated Thanks.

Hi master, we are considering a home and have learnt about the importance of Southwest corner for female of the house. We recently visited a house and love everything about it, except that we noticed a missing corner at southwest of the home (near door entrance). Seeking your advice if we should be concerned about it or there are remedies we could take? Thank you

A lot of things has happened this two months which first started with the dog becoming sick (and is still sick) when he was previously healthy, then I became very ill from Shingles. Then our TV is not working suddenly and today, my husband and daughter fell quite badly during their usually cycling. Is this bad feng shui or pure coincidence? How can I identify which area went wrong.

Hi, I am trying to decide if a house on a dead end street is auspicious. I have read that it is not good to live in such a street but don’t quite know all the fengshui rules regarding this. So I would like to gain clarity on this. Attached is a photo of the roads leading to the property. Thank you for your help.

Hi, I have been following many of your interesting discussions. Thank you for sharing. We live in Switzerland and we are moving into a rented apartment soon and the attached is the layout. The entrance is at the flying star 9,9 sector. However, I am concern with the open kitchen side wall slicing into the main door. I would like to place a modern light metal open book shelve i.e, see -through, with decorative pieces), 1.8m height, 50 cm width . Do you think an open book shelve is a good idea. Thank you for your advice in advance.

Hi Master, i’m looking for help as the master room (in the picture), has a full window side, a wall sharing with toilet, a wall with door, and another wall with the wardrobe. Is it wise to open a new door (on the left), and close up the one on the right and hack away the wardrobe? Or is it okay to share wall with the toilet as the toilet bowl is not on the same wall as the bed head? My best sleeping direction is: North, East, South, South East.
