Dear Penny, Yes, he is born in 1952. The earliest book written on SM Lee is by Alex Josey. He has written two books on SM Lee:- Josey, Alex, 1910-1986. Lee Kuan Yew / Alex Josey. Singapore : Times Books International, 1980. Josey, Alex, 1910-1986. Lee Kuan Yew : the crucial years / Alex Josey. Singapore : Times Books International, 1980. Perhaps you can try the first book: Lee Kuan Yew. Or check out books written on SM Lee to see if Mr Lee Hisen Loong's birth date has been recorded. Well, give a try, perhaps at the library. Or, try posting a the question on Young Pap forum website at http://www.youngpap.org.sg (Perhaps, you may have to give a "good reason" for aski…

Dear Cecil, Thanks for the advice on the house address. Apart from the address, could you advice the best direction for my husband and I? My husband's kua number is 7 and mine is 8. Would buying a new house (for Period 8) be best for us? Is it true (I was told) that those of us with kua number 8 will have a few great years ahead of us? What about those with kua number 7? Does it mean that they will have a few difficult years (all twenty of it) in Period 8. I'll be so grateful if you could answer my so-many questions. Thanks, Sybil

Dear Simon, Further to what I had mentioned, in-fact everyday while reading new messages posted to this forum is indeed a new learning experience. Given that no two situation are often alike, it is always foolhardy to use only YES or NO? (Is it true? type of question). In fact, there are many well documented cases of great lawyers who, can argue or fight cases, some of them, which may seem hopeless (to defend). Yet, these people can turn around "the jury". Thus, I can only say "It depends". Often, there is no right or wrong answers. It depends on how, one puts up his or her argument or logic to support their case. In Singapore, not all buildings have equal heights. Thus, …

Respected Sir, Thank you for your reply.I apologise for not being clear in my query. My question is that is there any significance of same level of flooring in all the sectors i.e it is harmful to have any sector higher floor level than other sectors &if this is the case at the back of the house where the main door is also located what are the remedies.Further if correcting beams in particular sectors with false ceiling has left these sectors with lower ceiling height as compared with areas without beams,it it harmful & what are the solution for this.

thank you very much for your prompt reply. I feel more confident now to use the balcony as my direction. If I can further intrude on you, if I were to change from period 7 to period 8, some sources mentioned to change a new door, roof/ceiling and floor/carpet. As such, do I change my entrance door to a brand new door or do I change the balcony sliding doors since my direction is based on the balcony's direction? Thanks in advance. brgds, Vincent

Hi Cecil, Thanks for replying so soon! Really appreciate it. :) Yes, our main gate is actually made of wrought iron with those flowery designs that you usually see. Besides having a "shield" for the bottom portion of the gate, I heard some saying placing some sort of plant around the main gate or common staircase can also remedy the solution. Can you verify if it is true? As my husband is not receptive with the idea of having a shield. As for the dining table, we actually decided to have a water-feature wall erected separating the foyer and the dining room. So that people cannot peek while we are eating. I read somewhere saying that water should be flowing inwards to the …

Dear Fiona, In my opinion, symbollically one can change or replace 6 to 8 tiles. Yes, while doing so, try to allow light into the upper floor where the roof is. One can remove this ceiling board and replace this old one once this is done. No need to replace a new one. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hello, I read with interest regarding the given situation for a students room. 1) According to Shapes and Form FS, is it acceptable for a study desk not to be immediately against a wall. 2) and is it acceptable for the study desk to be facing a large built in wall size wardrobe - with say one of the desks sides immediately adjacent against a wall? 3) is it also acceptable to place a study desk with the persons back if there is a bed and balcony doors direclty behind the desk 4) i've attached a sample diagram. your comments is kindly appreciated. Kind regards Scott

Master Lee, I do apologize for the ambiguous way I asked the question, to be specific: North - Family room - Disaster East - 11 year old's b/room - Death SE - Spare b/room - Irritation South - Kitchen - Spook My front door faces the West as I am a in the West House sector as my DOB is 15/08/57, unsure as to the time I was born. I sincerely do appreciate your advice to this predicament. Best wishes, Rory

Hi Anon, 1. If there is no favourable view, then simple thing like a day curtain or blinds will help to screen it. And as the saying goes if you cannot see it, it is not a threat. 2. Alternatively, check your eight house to see if you can sit facing in particular your prosperity or excellent sector which may not necessary be this current table placement. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear All, Further to what I had mentioned, sometimes, it is better to depend on modern inventions, than Feng Shui. Sample sites like these, lists cleaners and other health related items that can take away some of the #2 or #5 type of issues. Instead of hanging six-coins, go for these:- http://www.aircleaners.com/ http://www.airdelights.com/hepa.html "To modern inventions and GOOD HEALTH!" Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Robert, Per your suggestion, please find attached the layout of the house (both first floor and second floor)and a "bird's eye" view of the location of the house. 1) Please help me find the center of the house and define the sectors? 2) The West side of the house has a creek running nearby , separated by a road and beyond the creek are mountains. Please give comments / advise on the location of the house in relationship with the creek and mountains. The head of the house (male)has a fire element and I (female) have the water element. 3) As I mentioned to you, I have problems understanding how to define the facing of the house, using the compass. I would appreciate if…

Dear Mr Lee Thank you so much for your reply. Greatly appreciate your help. Emily free-advice Listmanager wrote: From: Cecil Lee Dear Emily, 1. Other than Yr3, (although bad wood - that is helpful, this time around), the other combinations of #5 x 2 fueled with M#9 fire is indeed - pretty bad. (Yes, very inauspicious). 2. The idea behind the neutralising of #5 is the use of constant metal. Thus, imagine this: a wind chime that does not make (constant) noise is as good as not having a wind chime at all. This is akin to swallowing a sugar coated pill with no good visible results. 3. With this potent combination of #5 x 2, one sure need to have pretty much constant metal to…
