Location: Corner Indian eatery at Serangoon Gardens (by the way they individually make fresh one of the best pratas around) The concrete beam you see in the photo is considered load bearing beam. But do take note that the rest of the brown wooden planks that were mounted onto the ceiling are non-load bearing beams. However, some has a misunderstanding that the planks are beams - which is in theory not true at all.

Can my altar face the dining table? So long as the deity sitting on the altar: at EYE LEVEL does not DIRECTLY face the dining table TOP. If this "test" is passed; then no issue. Why not? Standard off the shelf commercially purchased altars have specific altar heights of around 49 3/4 inches. This is the norm. If so, this much higher than a regular (normal) dining table other than those bar counter tops.

In summary, if we stand at the main entrance door and can see stairs leading downwards; this symbolises "money down the drain". As mentioned, previously, by Singapore law, the staircase door by right should be closed at all times. If so, if the stairs cannot be seen; "it no longer becomes a threat"

As mentioned, previously, in Singapore and in the 1970's one of the most popular trees planted in a landed property garden is the mango tree. In the past, individual landed properties range from: 7,000sq. ft to 12,000 sq. ft for bungalows, half that for semi-detached homes and 1/3 to 1/4 of the above for a terrace homes.
