Watch out for this old Feng Shui Scam Many Feng Shui Masters are essentially running Feng Shui stores in disguise. Genuine Feng Shui is not about buying lots of commercial products in its name. Always ask: “Do I really need to buy this from you?” In fact, the biggest offenders today are Feng Shui Masters with lineages. They seem more interested in selling so-called “lifestyle” products than actually providing proper Feng Shui advice. +++ What Chat GPT Says about Geomancy.net You’ve hit on a major issue that countless people have noticed but few openly discuss. The commercialization of Feng Shui has led to an abundance of pra…

1. I have always trained my mind to ask this question: "Has common sense to do with this question?" 2. In my opinion, you would be pleasantly surprised to learn that many seemingly Feng Shui or even Grand Mother's tales are rooted in pure common sense! 3. Currently, it is even an uphill task for me to try to collate many so called Feng Shui or Feng Shui related questions into one link. 4. Where it is pure common sense that leads to some thinking that it is some higher form such as a Feng Shui concept or theory! 5. The next time, you try to have a paradiym shift by asking the question: "It is just pure common sense?" You will be pleasantly surprised, when you figur…

1. In Professional Feng Shui, identifying a wealth corner or multiple wealth corners is based on a thorough assessment using Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. As many people know, simply focusing on one sector or following basic sector Feng Shui may not be effective. 3. For example, if a practitioner routinely tells clients that the wealth corner is “diagonal to the main door,” the chances of most clients achieving wealth through this method are extremely low. 4. Feng Shui is about enhancing earth luck, and it is better to try and improve luck in all areas of the home, rather than concentrating on just one sector. Another question: Is it helpful to place something…

Common sense and concealed gas pipes in the kitchen Many executive condominiums and other condos are connected to a piped gas supply. For cosmetic reasons, some developments have gas pipes hidden within the plastered walls. There was an incident where a contractor drilled into a wall while installing kitchen cabinets, which caused a gas leak throughout the entire apartment. This important warning was found on the notice board at Park Green @ Rivervale Link. Be cautious of concealed gas pipes during renovation: 1. Ensure concealed gas pipes are not damaged. 2. Identify the location of concealed gas pipes using your home's gas pipe layout plan or a m…

When reviewing layout plans for a home with more than one storey: 1. Always compare the second-storey layout with the ground-floor layout by superimposing one over the other. 1.1. For the ground floor, make sure that toilets on the second floor—especially the sewerage pipes and WC—are not located directly above important areas such as the main entrance, dining table, bed, kitchen stove, or altar. 1.2. On the second storey, always check the position of the ground floor stove in relation to the bed above.

The apartment that I'm interested has a bathroom with the mirror in direct line with the front door.

You wrote: "1. Can you tell me what it means from a feng shui apartment to have this type of floor plan, ie why we should close the bathroom door and what would happen if you don't. I'm concerned, but I don't want to be paranoid." There are two main considerations: 1. Commonsense Feng Shui & First Impressions 1.1. When it comes to first impressions, it’s practical to ensure that visually unappealing features aren’t immediately visible upon entering your home. For example, if the toilet door is left open and someone steps in, their first sight may be the wash basin or even a mirror, which can give an undesirable initial feel. 1.2. Similarly, placing …

Case Study: Morning Cecil, would like to check with you for main door. What is a good dimensions. ID asking. Thanks [FSM = Feng Shui Master] FSM: 1. The options are either two doors or one door with a half leaf. The dimensions seem quite different. It would be helpful to know the proposal in order to make necessary adjustments. This approach makes more sense since it was suggested by the initiator. FSM: 2. Thank you for verifying, the system consists of a single door measuring between 1 meter to 1.15 meters. FSM: 3. The ideal width is 42 inches, with an acceptable range of 41 inches to a maximum of 43 inches. FSM: 4. The optimal height is 83…

Question: Can I do the first time open door procedure before the 7th month. And during the 7th month continue with the renovations. Is it ok to choose an auspicious date that is suitable to one partner but average for the other. Reply: 1. The concern of the 7th month is that when one leaves a home vacant; some are afraid that the "hungry ghosts" may come and live in the home. And if one suddenly disturbs them, they get "angry". But see Para 2 below 2. Thus, it is a good idea to start renovations and continue during the 7th month. Here, the hungry ghosts are also like humans; if there are lots of noise and construction, they will not want to "come in". 3. No issue to selec…

In General, these are the considerations or pairings of roof tile colors and exterior wall finishes:- 1. If possible, it is advisable to avoid a BLUE roof. According to the I-ching, blue symbolizes difficulty, and if it covers the entire roof, it resembles water above you. 2. If a blue roof MUST be utilized, then the exterior walls should be white or off-white, but never cream or beige. 3. If a grey roof is chosen, the optimal choice for the exterior walls is white. Grey exterior walls are acceptable, but if a grey roof is used, cream or beige walls should be avoided. 4. According to the current Feng Shui period, the most favorable colors are earth ton…

Location: Sembawang. These awnings shade the room windows. And the characteristic is that they are almost always installed on at the west facing side. Do not be deceived if you are house hunting and the owners switch on the air conditioning in the afternoon. This is a clear indication of an afternoon sun-facing unit.

Nowadays, few go for such designs. But, the photos shows : 1. The partition panel uses traditional motifs. 2. Although some don't like the motifs e.g. circle enveloping a hexagram; these are still acceptable "safe" motifs or designs or patterns in a home

In reference to my previous comments, I believe there may be a practical "downside" to using a curtain to cover the toilet door. This downside primarily relates to issues of effort or laziness and hygiene. Some individuals install a curtain and subsequently forget about it! (Install and forget). After a few weeks, if the curtains are not changed regularly, they could become a breeding ground for germs. Just imagine your attractive face, whether masculine or feminine, coming into contact with those curtains... It is possible to transfer numerous germs from the curtains to your lovely face! If you are uncomfortable with this situation, it may b…

Tong Shu can be regarded as analogous to undergoing an X-ray. While Ba Zi dates can be likened to an MRI scan. Another perspective is that Tung Shu is comparable to a Bachelor's degree, whereas Ba Zi corresponds to a Master's degree. Both are viewed as degrees; however, a Master's degree is considered superior to a Bachelor's degree. These interpretations may shift if one assumes the role of a matriarch in a family, with a preference for the Tung Shu. If an individual is more inclined towards the Tung Shu, it is advisable to favor this approach and abandon the Ba Zi method if reconciliation is not possible or if one prefers the familiarity of the Tung Shu as the…

Question: Is this bad Feng Shui? Reply: 1. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, less than ideal to have a split directly at the middle. 2. This is similar to have a two piece mirror splitting the dining table into two. Thus can be considered to be inauspicious. 3. Common sense: A table such as this which has a split, may cause food to be caught in the GAP. And for hygiene purposes, may allow bacterial or germ to flourish.

Dear Chris, Thank you for your information. Two weeks ago, I provided similar advice to yours, as the client has a window set between both sides of the bed. Specifically, I recommended that she close the left window, which is adjacent to the toilet area. In my opinion, you have offered sound advice. This client has her bedroom door directly in the narrow corridor facing the garage door, which is not ideal. In her situation, it would be advisable to keep the bedroom door closed. Honestly, in your situation, I do not see much additional advice beyond ensuring that the bed is positioned 'correctly' in relation to the room's layout and other factors such a…

Question: "Dear Master Cecil Lee, Hi Master Cecil Lee, sorry to disturb you. I heard from my Chinese friend it is no good to move to the new house in September,is it true? because am planning to move in the month of September." Reply: This phenomenon is primarily associated with Chinese culture, as the seventh lunar month is regarded by the Chinese as the 'Ghost Month'. During this period, it is believed that ghosts and spirits are liberated from the lower realm and permitted to wander freely on our physical plane. The commencement of the seventh lunar month occurs on the following dates: Western: July 27, 2014 (Sunday); Lunar…

Frequently, when a mirror is positioned directly beneath an air conditioner, it is possible for the air conditioning unit to leak water, which can subsequently harm the mirror(s). The mirrors possess coatings that are applied to the back to create the characteristic "mirror" reflection. These mirrors are affixed to a piece of plywood prior to being mounted on the wall. The plywood itself is also capable of absorbing moisture. In Singapore, the humidity levels often exceed 60 percent. Alternatively, an air conditioner may direct cold air onto the surface of the mirror, leading to potential flaking of the mirror. It is important to note that the mirrors …
