  1. the hallway in our property has the flying star combination of 7-6, 7 being the Earth star and 6 being the Facing Star. I read that 7-6 indicates potential robberies, loss, theft. Plus the house's facing direction is my husband's irritation direction, which also portends losses. do you think this is a serious matter which requires a fengshuiremedy? and what remedies would you recommend? also, the staircase is in front of our front door. i seem to have heard that such a placement can be bad, but can't remember why its bad, etc. can i place a fountain, fish tankor a plant there to make it better? as i have heard that plants or water are good for remedies. please advice! Thanks!
  2. Dear Master Lee, our new houseis facing SE. My husband is a weak wood, and although SE is his Irritation direction, SE is also a wood direction, so I wonder if this is not so bad for him after all. SE is my Spook direction, which I read from your other forum post - is okay to live in, since you said before that many people live in Spook direction and its not such a great harm. However, I'm a bit concernedfor my 3 year old daughter as SE is her death direction. I know that its most important that the direction be favourable to the main breadwinner and not the daughter, but it sounds kind of terrible that SE is my daughter's "DEATH" direction. Do you thinkthis isreally going to cause her any major problems? If so,could you recommend any remedies for her
  3. Hi Master Lee, we have just rentedan end-terracehouse. We didn't have much choice or time as my husband left it to the last minute to view houses, despite my advice. However the house itself seems to be quite okay. Very new (about 2 years old), spacious, and the atmosphere around the place seemsokay - children often seen playing in the outdoor compound and their laughter can be heard. There is a factory located on the right hand side of our property, if you're standing at the front door facing outwards. We found out today that the factory actually repairs industrial air compressors - long, air-filled cylinders of air are stacked up on the factory premises, although that is not visible from our house - it is only visible if you walk further up the road and look next to the factory. However,if we are in the back garden of the house, we can hear a dull whirring sound in the distance caused by the factory, during the day. Its not extremely loud or irritating at all, but the sound *can* be heard. The house windows are all double-glazed sothe soundcan't be heard indoors, only outdoors.Do you think that the factory is a bad fengshui element?
  4. Just one more question relating to the report, Master Lee. You mentioned that for a weak metal person like me, working in my career with wealth element (in my case, wood) would not bring me much wealth because I need to be stronger, i.e. in contact with Earth. Yet I also noticed that in my career report,in my "career with wealth" section, there was a table which illustrated the following : Earned Wealth : Wood : 3 Unexpected Wealth : Wood : 0 And in my "career with Power & Authority" section, there was another table which illustrated the following : Authority : Fire : 2 Determination : Fire : 2 Could you please explain to me what these tables mean? P.S. I'm in the process of choosing what degree to study in University, and I've always wanted to study medical subjectsor veterinary studies, or food science and nutrition. I'dfind satisfaction in work that allows me to help peopleand improve the quality of their lives. If its not too much to ask, do you think these fields are suitable for me, looking at my career report above? In addition, to the above, my report lists mysuitable favourable career elementas Earth.
  5. Dear Master Lee, whenwe are looking for a new house, apart fromchoosing a house with the appropriate shapes and forms, should wethen go for the favourable house-facingdirection according to : 1) Eight Mansions Feng Shui - in this case, myself, my husband and my daughter all belong to the "West" group, so should we go look for a West-facing (or South-west or North-west facing) house? 2) Bazi Elements - in this case, my favourable element is Earth which is NE or SW direction, but my husband and daughter both have favourable element in Water, which is N direction. Water is my unfavourable element, so if we go by Bazi when choosing a house-facing direction, wouldn't we clash? Besides, I also heard you say in another forum reply that the house direction should favour the elements of the main breadwinner of the family, which is my husband in this case. How should we go about harmonising the interior decorations of the house according to our favourable elements, if our favourable elements clash? I'm not sure at all whether we should follow Eight Mansions Feng Shui or the Bazi elements when looking for a favourable house direction. Hope you will clarify it for me.
  6. I received my balance of elements report from the paidreport. It says there : 1 Water "Strongest" 13% Acceptable (Increase element) 1 Wood "Strong" 10% Acceptable (Increase element) 7 Fire "Extremely Weak" 56% Reduce Element 2 Earth "Weakest" 10% Acceptable (Increase element) 1 Metal "Weak" 8% Acceptable (Increase element) Now I understand the percentages, but what I don't understand is why is 7 Fire, for example, considered "Extremely Weak" when it obviously has the highest percentage (56%) compared to all other elements in my chart. I don't understand what the numbers next to each element really mean, for example, "7 Fire", and "2 Earth", and "1 Wood". Thing is, shouldn't "7" Fire or "2 Earth"be considered stronger, compared to "1 Wood" because 7 or 2is more than 1??? So how come "1 Wood" is listedas "Strong" whereas "7 Fire" and "2 Earth" are listed as "extremely Weak" and "Weakest"??? Please help me understand this report Master Lee. Many thanks in advance! P.S. and also, since my unfavourable elements are fire and water, should I still try to increase the element of water, since according to this report, it says that I should because water is only 13%??
  7. Thanks Master Lee. I understand it much better now!
  8. Hi, I'm a weak metal person, and my Bazi lucky elements are metal and earth. I just received my career element report. My power career element is fire, and my wealth career element is wood. The report also mentioned that I should work in an Earth-related career because : 1) Fire career is completely unsuitable for me. 2) Wood careers are not recommended for me unless I'm in close contact with earth all the time. I don't understand the report at all. Why is fire career not suitable for me, even though it is my with Power + Authority career element? Please explain this for me Master Lee. Also, since my Bazi lucky elements are earth and metal, why doesn't my career report mention that I should work in a metal-related profession? In your opinion, Master Lee, do you think I should consider working in a metal profession such as politics, banking, etc.?? Thanks for reading this. I look forward to your reply!
  9. Hello there, I've received my full Bazi reading (plus career) and it says that I am a weak metal person with too much fire in my chart. In addition, I have a Creative Star in the fieldsof advertising, writing, marketing, art.My career element is wood and fire, but that my lucky elements are earth and metal (because I'm a weak metal). As a result,I cannot work in my career element of fire, and as for the career element of wood, it says that I can do it only if I am in contact with Earth element constantly. In addition, my life analysis tells me that I am destined for a hard life from the age of 30 (and I am 27 this year!!) I just don't know what to make of my reading. It seems to be made up of so many contrasting elements - andI naturally gravitate towards the "unlucky" elements and "unlucky" professions for me... I've always naturally gravitated toward what is considered "fire" jobs like art, design, creativity, etc. Yetif I onlypursuemy "lucky" elements and "lucky" jobs from now on, I think Iwill keep feeling the need to gravitate towards the "unlucky" elementof Fire. I wonder if this need is accentuated by the fact that I have a Creative Star in this sort of area. I wonder if I will ever be happy doing things that I don't naturally go for so much... I normally like wearing all kinds of colours, surrounding myself in colour. Is this no good for me - should I just restrict myself to wearing white and brown?! Or is it better, maybe, to wear my "lucky" colours and elements only during the days when my luck is supposed to be Bad or Very Bad? Also, what do you think I should try to do as far as my profession is concerned? Is there some way to resolve my creative urges with my "lucky" career elements of wood or earth?? Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed by my creative urges and my interest in "fire" subjects like art, design, fashion, etc...
  10. Hi Cecil, My career element is Earth, and some of the careers which you quotedas Earth careers include building, real estate, civil engineering, farming, pottery. I can see why those careers are Earth in nature -as they are associated with land or dealing with products obtained from soil. But Idon't really understand why youwould also quote other careers such ascustomer service, employee relations and human resources, games andsports,as Earth careers.Such careers don't reallyappear to be dealing with land or soil...they seem to be more with dealing with people. Why do youconsiderthemas Earth-related careers? Regards, Rachel
  11. I am studying philosophy in university, and also studying a foreign language. What element does philosophy belong to? What element does language belong to?My lucky element is Earth. Is philosophy and language studies compatible with my lucky element??
  12. The central heating gas heater is inone corner ofthe bedroom upstairs, with pipes running from the bottom of the heaterinto the living room downstairs. Although the bed is not directly under the heater or the pipes, is it still unhealthy to sleep there?
