If person's guardian Kua is 2 or 5
1. Usually it is safer to dwell more on caution. 2. The rationale is simple: As the sector based on the20 Year Flying Star already has: 2M 5W ; the concern here is that hopefully another or multiples of especially #5 and/or #2 especially #5 or even #9 congregate at that sector. 3. Contrast this with another sector that does not have 2M or 5W. Thus the bedroom for your daughter may consider "prevention" rather than a cure. (Prevention is better than a cure). Salt water cure is old "technology" and it has to be placed away from the face - closer to an opening or an open window. Nowadays, a better method is using ionisers cum hepa cleaners like Sharp brand fan cum ionisers which is a safter bet. Michelle O. wrote: I have a bedroom for my daughter which has a 2m 5w 1t and she has a 2 kua guardian star - I read in a book that it makes her safer than most to stay there. Is it true and if not is a salt water cure and a metal item such as a pendulum clock or gourd enough? I also have a room for my other daughter with a guardian 5 kua and the room has 7m 9w and 5t - same question and confirmation on cure.

Female Driver driving Bridal car
Yes, unfortunately there are two considerations, here: 1. It's a male thing! Unfortunately: our society, still has some taboo's associated with anything related to women. And even if the driver is not the person getting married; surely some unusual questions will arose like: the female driver preferable should not have her monthly period on that day.... etc... 2. Human nature at work (or wrongly at work). We human beings don't like to hear negatives spoken - even if there is relatively no issue. But, so long as one person or two be it one's relative, friends were to comment that this is they "felt" as inauspicious, we start to cast doubts ... 3. Frankly, there is no true logic to disallow a female to drive is there? Unless, she is a lousy driver. But some girls are even better drivers than males! 4. Sorry for the side track: It would be different if it is the other way around. For instance, in the past, I am sure, eunuchs would be the ones that carry the queen or consorts to the emperor! In fact, in the past, eunuchs would carry a naked concubine or consort towards the king's bed. The rationale is so that she is unable to conceal any hidden weapons on her. So if a eunuch would be driving our wedding car today.. will anyone be making any noise?

Bazi versus Health Therapy
1. Frankly, this should not be taken out of context. 2. For example, it is more evident that it is applied in relation to things like your earth luck or Feng Shui. This is why, many practitioners of ba zi will ask you to try to harmonize your ba zi element to e.g. your bedroom - colours etc... 3. The Ba zi is based on the five elements concept. And the five elements comprise of : Earth - Metal - Water - Wood and Fire. And even in a "normal" home, we often scan a room and can see all five of these elements within sight of our eyes in a home. Thus we should not go to the extreme and individually - this cannot that cannot etc... 4. Imagine this extreme: all Singapore males have to be drafted into military. And what happens if a male child is considered as a "Strong Wood" element? 5. Can we write to the ministry of defense and use this argument? Father of son (going to be drafted into the army "As my child is a strong wood person; he cannot wear Green army uniform. As green represents wood. And too much wood is no good for him" General of thearmy " Yes, we can dress your son in RED, and during wartime, he will be "lighted" up like a Christmas tree! If there is a war, you are sending your son faster to his grave! A sniper will aim for him, first!" General of the army "Tell you what - originally, he was to serve in my ministry in the comfort of my reseach lab; to design new aids for people on the ground. But since he is unable to wear green; I have decided to make him a Singapore commando! Although he will be wearing green uniform - at least, his beret is RED!" 6. The next thing you know; he and the father may be thrown into detention centre! 7. Thus applying ba zi elements is both commonsense and based on practical approach towards life.

Ground breaking before 7th Ghost Month
1. Yeah, hammering 3 nails isas what you had mentioned; not the norm. Or if I can be frank enough "weird". 2. Firstly, from a commonsense approach:needs lots ofstrength and often even hammering nails into wood is hard enough not to say hammering nails into the walls. 3. Symbolically, it may even be a double edgedsword: beforemoving into a new home: itmay even beconsidered inauspicious todriving three nails into one's home. Anonymous wrote: We were told that renovating the house on the 7thmonth is not auspicious and therefore our fengshui consultanttold us to hammer 3 nailson the wall near the window. 4. As youhad mentioned, if it seems odd to you; don't do it. 5. Contrary to popular myths or beliefs: in fact, the 7th month to some and on many days of the 7th month are auspcious days. Just that the popular belief is that everyone tries to play safe and try to avoid many things or activities in the 7th month. 6. On the extreme end of the spectrum; to play safe, so long as one does not move in during the 7th month; this would be acceptable. 7. In the past, due to circumstances like yours: real need to start renovations on the 7th month - this has been done by many others before. Therefore, as a consolation, you are not the first nor going to be the last person to so. 8. Thus within our history, if one cannot symbolically start renovations before the 7th month, could "hand ownership" to the renovation contractors to start work ... this has been done .. by many others also in the past. 9. What you can logically do is: if you are getting ownership of the home during the 7th month; "hand the property to the contractor". For example, if you don't intend to change locks; (and if the home is vacant) ask or usually the contractor would install a "bicycle chain" and or bring his chain and lock. Let the contractor start renovations... 10. What is more important is that you move-in, later after the 7th month. 11. Yeah.. my toes are laughing at the 3 nail thing.... might as well bring along a jack-hammer on loan from those constructing roads....

Blue tinted window glass or blue tinted film
1. Under symbolism in Feng Shui; it is best not to use blue-tinted window glass for a home. 2. This could be the actual blue tint in the window glass plane OR blue-tint film on pasted on a clear glass. 3. As this blue-tint symbolises "water element". And symbolically, it implies water = wealth leaking out of the home or apartment. One way to redress this is to use white or cream "day curtain" to help retain the "water". 4. As white or cream represents metal element. Golden coloured blinds or curtains added to such windows are equally applicable. 5. What about other coloured tints: black? grey? brown or green? All these colours are acceptable.

auspious date
1. For free auspicious date for the NEXT 30 days:- http://dates.geomancy.net 2. Thus if you are looking atFREE dates, then wait until closer to december to look at thedates. 3. Please note that usually; one should look only at the male breadwinner or in addition ofthe spouse combineddates. 4. If one wants to look at auspicious dates for more than three persons; onehas to be real serious! As most of the time, itmay be hard to find auspicious dates already for two persons. But for three persons? Have you wondered thatin some cases, there may only be auspicious dates perhaps every two months. (Thisdwellmore on looney tunes...)

Will I go to Heaven, stuck on earth or Hell?
What happens in this senario:- Which level we now lastlive our life on earth;determines where one will go, later... Just imagine this.... Ground Floor: Will not go up or down to Heaven or Hell. Will remain on this earth as a wondering spirit! Basement: The higher the basement number, the very likely one will go to hell. For example: Basement 4: Die, die will go to Hell!

My stove is facing the kitchen sink
1. It depends:- 1.1. If the car garage is at the Basement or below street level: where it was dug into the ground; then not counted:- Basement (if your garage is at this level) Street Level = #01-xx 2nd storey(If your garage is at street level) = #02-xx 1.2. If the car garage is at Street Level, then the car garage (area) = #01-xx; while your unit, say on the 2nd storey = #02-xx. Please see attachment. Note: Not many apartments are greater than #99 storey's high. And the Flying Star House (Apartment) Report: does not look at apartments below ground level.

Feng Shui Review for 8@Woodleigh - Which units are lucky today?
1. In general, typically most sites will certainly have units that are very good to average to inauspicious. As no unit or stack can share the same stack-site even within a development. 2. Frankly, in fact especially Chinese cemetry sites (were) suppose to be excellent sites. As Chinese have a wish that future generations will prospher. Thus, all Chinese cemetry sites are very auspicious. 3. The Bidaari Cemetry site: The word Bidadari originated from the Sansckrit word: widyadari which roughly translates to heavenly "attainment". In fact, this site, was originally an Istana of one Sultan of Johore's wife home. In 1904, the colonial government purchased around 45 acres of this land and turned it into a cemetry. Which we know was meant for burial of Hindus, Muslims and large population of different denominations of Christians. 4. One can draw a parallel to Orchard Road. Once upon a-time, the land where the MRT station sits was burial ground. And in the past, people thought that it was inauspicious to build the hotel (Tangs-Marriot) facing it. 5. In fact, many apartments are now built on burial sites or facing it: Bishan park; Yishan (Teochew cemetry); Old Bedok Road (where my grandfather was buried) is now Tampines ... 6. Memory fades... Singaporeans have "short" memory. Once the Bidadari is renewed again; no one would be wiser... 7. See attachment. Please note that the block 6: worst stack is 10. An entrapped stack! Inauspicious. While Block 2: stack 05 should be facing Flying Star E2 - if so, generally, the auspicious double #8's are wasted at the "back" of the apartment - which is usually the kitchen/yard area. Karen K. wrote: Some people avoided buying this development because it is directly opposite the old Bidadari Cemetry which is not existing already. Is there a good reason to be concern? Further to what I had mentioned, one of the options is to place a low height "linen" cabinet" at the foot of the bed. See attachment.

Shape of land, how to cure
1. Frankly, although your plot of land is irregular; in my opinion, it is considered "mild" or not extremely irregular. Overall, if you don't do anything, it is quite minor. As compared to many other plot of land. Please see attachment. 2. The eastest way to "fix" this mild irregularity is to have some kind of landscaping for area marked in Red as "C". 3. You may alos place lighting at markings in red "A" and "B". But, in my opinion, either you can still do nothing or go for para 2. 4. As for the frontage, no major concern for this plot of land. (With our without a light at the corner - no issue) at all.

when bed has to be in line with door, what to do?
1. So long as when sleeping, the legs are not directly facing the bedroom door. 2. The two most common approach are:- 2.1. No issue if the head faces the bedroom door instead of the leg. Might want to consider switching sides when sleeping. 2.2. Some beds have a courtesy (privacy) board and if this courtesy board is at the same level of the legs, it will "cover" the legs and/or 2.3. A low linen cupboard can be placed at the foot of the bed that is closest to the door. 3. Ideal choice is to relocate the bed (if possible).

Initial Opening of Door Procedures - Updated
1. Red for the Chinese means auspicious. Thus all fa gao(s) see attachment below must have "red dot(s)" or in the past, a red piece of cut-out paper stuck on the top of the fa goa. 2. Fa Gao comes in various colours. In Singapore, the most common colours are this brown colour. Other popular colours are orange (which represents gold) or pink colour. Rarely white is used. As white represents "death". Even if white is used, it has to have the red dot(s) on it or a again a red piece of paper stuck on the top of the fa gao. 3. Nowadays; smaller sized fa gao; meant more for eating also comes in the popular "pandan" green colour.

HDB 3 Room Flats: built between 1964 to 1983
1. Theseflats are the first generation Housing Development Board (HDB) government flats. 2. Many of such flats were completed by the HDB between 1964 to 1984. 3. Characteristics of many of such flats:- 3.1. Attached is a typical corridor 3-room flat ( 2 bedrooms plus the living room = 3 rooms). 3.2. One cannot get the facing direction of such flats wrong! As the main door is having the same facing as the living room windows. 3.3.If one were to take a Feng Shui ruler and measure the dimensions of such a flat (apartment); the door at marking "E" is Feng Shui ruler friendly. Many years back, the HDB did not tell anyone that they had make the main entrance door Feng Shui friendly. 3.4. These flats in a block of flats are characterised by a rectangular shaped building or the block is considered as an "earth element" A "stable" and harmonous form. 3.5. If you carefully look at the original layout (see attachment); one will find that a wall is purposely built at marking "A". This follows the Feng Shui premise that qi should not flow from the main door directly out of the home. 3.5.1 Unfortunately, some owners who were not aware of the Feng Shui repercussions; had hacked down this wall. The morale of the story is that some people had the mistaken notion that Feng Shui is about hacking walls. 3.5.2 On the contrary, good Feng Shui practises even "forbid" hacking too many walls. In this case, if the wall at marking "A" was hacked away; qi from the main door would flow out of the home. The implication is that the owners will not be able to save money! 3.6. If one were to go to such a "virgin" layout and take a measurement of marking "D" will be surprised that the opening is actually also Feng Shui ruler friendly. Unless one had done some renovations and changed the opening then, this may not be true. 3.7. The minor flaw of such a layout is that the two bedroom doors : bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 face each other! Thus, under symbolism in Feng Shui; when ever both parties come out of the room " it looks like " they are at logger head with each other. The simplest "cure" is to place a "red" dot on both door knobs so that each party can see "eye" to "eye" with each other. 4. This layout plan happens to be a unit from Marine Parade. And between 1984 to 2003; these flats had their toilets upgraded and during the upgrading exercise; majority of the owners agree on a utility room : as marked in YELLOW in the attachment.

Maysprings condo @ 2, 4 & 6 Petir Road - Is my unit still lucky today?
Maysprings condominium was finalized during the Flying Star Period 7 in 1998. The land tenure is leasehold for 99 years. This condominium consists primarily of two identical rectangular blocks: Blocks 2 and 6. Positioned between these two blocks is Block 4, which is centrally located on the rectangular plot and houses the clubhouse. The majority of the apartments are oriented towards Flying Star S1 or N1, with fewer units facing E1 and W1. A distinctive characteristic of this condominium is the "openings"; please refer to the attachment: maysprings1.jpg, where the openings are highlighted in RED: A and B. This type of opening, according to Shapes and Forms, is designed to facilitate the flow of qi. This condominium adopts the concept of openings from a renowned development in Hong Kong, where an opening was created to permit the dragon qi from the rear of that development to pass through this "hole," thereby allowing beneficial qi to circulate. Such openings are rare in Singapore. One example is another condominium located in the East Coast area, and another is The Sterling condominium on Bukit Timah Road. According to the same attachment: maysprings1.jpg, some geomancers have indicated that the units marked in PURPLE: labeled as "C" and "D" are deemed inauspicious, as these units lack the "support" beneath them that other units possess, where they are stacked directly on top of one another. Visually, some may perceive these units as unsafe, even though they are structurally sound.

Old shoe for others - Used footwear for someone else.
1. The act of giving shoes is a tradition in China, much like the custom of avoiding giving clocks or bells as gifts. 2. However, considering these shoes are "old", there may be some flexibility in how we perceive them as gifts. It could be seen more as a kind gesture rather than a traditional gift. 3. For individuals of other ethnicities, this may not be a concern, as there is no obligation to adhere to customs of a different culture. 4. I recall a time, many years ago, even in a predominantly Chinese community, where there was a promotion to purchase a new pair of branded sports shoes at a discount by bringing in an old pair to either recycle or donate to those in need in another country. 5. As long as one's intentions are sincere and heartfelt, I believe this type of behavior is perfectly acceptable. Many Chinese families have a practice of passing down clothing from older siblings or cousins to younger children, so it would be a shame to waste shoes that are still in good condition. Anonymous wrote: Dear Master I have a few extra shoe that I do not want to keep anymore.
