  1. Dear YC, Yes, symbolism is very important in Feng Shui: 1. Most importantly paintings must not show animals that are `fierce'; too thin; on the prowl & looks hungry etc... 2. Since, you have mentioned that the painting is a resting, friendly tiger, in my opinion, this is acceptable painting. Where possible, place this painting in areas where there is clear space e.g. living room area. And not in enclosed or small confines of a bedroom. 3. Other types of paintings: 3.1 Paintings near main entrance or living room area: If one is using traditional Chinese paintings, one can use e.g. paintings such as 8 or 9 koi fishes. To symbolise clear space. Calligraphy is ok. 3.2 Paintings at the dining area: Flower paintings, fruits are usually ok. Sometimes if this area has a large wall. 3.3 For those who are in business, some favour placing a painting with horses, "rushing out of the main entrance door". Symbollically, this implies to go out and get business. The above are more common types of paintings. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  2. Dear Ben, Pleae see below:- a. Yes, try to use a 6-rod windchime to `destroy' wood since this is a long pillar. b. However, do check and make sure that this sector is not at North-east (devil's gate) or South (devil's backdoor). If so, can u let me know the Flying Star number(s) in this sector. This is because, North-East and South-West should not have too much yin stars or numbers. If so, it may create too much yin with a windchime. And may inadvertently attract `spirits.' Otherwise, you can proceed to use a wind chime. If this is the main entrance area and there is too much yin factors at N-E or S-W - then you can consider using the Fire element. Fire is a much better destructive element to wood. If we compare this with e.g. hanging a 6 coins. But if one is hanging a 6 rod metal wind chime, this equal or exceed the use of `static' fire element. As the 6 rod metal representing big metal, should be used to constantly disperse the Sha Qi caused by the length of the pillar slicing into the house. It is best also to try to close the main door when not in use. Can you further elaborate: 1. which compass direction this is. And what is the colour painted on the wall. 2. For info, your binding element for Strong Metal and Strong Earth is water element. The outer swing door e.g. screen door is acceptable. This is not the actual door. And it is not practical nor (in my opinion) feasbible for this door to swing in-wards. More importantly, the actual e.g. wooden door should swing in-wards. If you have a layout plan, you can either scan it and upload here or sent me via Fax to: 065 - 64820570. I can help you to determine the actual centrepoint for confirmation. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  3. Dear Hoa Luong, 1. Yes, this year, the Grand Duke is at South or 180 degrees. 2. Under the Chinese Astrology. If one look carefully at the 12 Chinese Astrology signs on the main page of http://www.geomancy.net/love/astrology.htm 2.1 One can notice that the Rat is directly opposite the Horse. Others: Pig is opposite the snake etc.. 2.2 Under Chinese Astrology, the animal sign opposite each other are suppose to be `opposites' or most incompatible. 2.3 Since this is the Year of the Horse ( 180 degrees - South - Fire element). And the Rat is directly opposite it. The Rat is at (0 degrees - North - Water element). 3. Here, one is aware that Fire and Water are opposites. 4. The Three-Killings is always opposite the Grand Duke. Thus, in this year 2002, the Three-Killings area is the North or 0 degrees. 5. To find out more about this Year's Five Yellow check out this URL:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/forecast-2002.htm 5.1 Please note that Five Yellow is also known as #5 or number 5 or misfortune sector. Under this title: " Year 2002 Flying Star Analysis" 5.2 Sickness and Misfortune Sectors This year the sickness star has moved to SOUTH and the misfortune star has moved to the EAST. Take extra precaution at the SOUTH and EAST sectors. 5.3 Disputes and Lawsuits Sectors The presence of the Dispute and Lawsuit Stars in the North & West. 4. Dear Anon, 1. At the moment, it is difficult to pint-point the cause of your problems. As Feng Shui is quite diverse and it even extends to Pillars of Destiny or Ba Zi. And in addition, there are many other variables involved. 2. What I personally feel is that, sometimes, when we make continous mistakes, we tend to make more because we may then become to concious about our past mistakes. And makes us more "tensed-up". 3. And I personally feel that when we get more tensed and place pressure on ourselves to perform -- we tend to therefore make further mistakes. 4. In fact, do thing about how you had personally coped example -- in your previous studies and taking exams. Alternatively, try to gain support e.g. if you have a boyfriend, spent time or listen to `soothing music' when you are at home or find something to let your mind at ease. 5. Most importantly, do take note that mistakes are mistakes and it can happen to any one of us. Do try to `enjoy' your work. When this happens -- it is more to calm one's nerves and not tensed up. Wishing you all the best! Take care! Cecil Lee
  5. Dear Anon, 1. Is there a sample of the coin that I can see. Perhaps, in an Indian website. 2. Please refer to the url pictures below:- http://www.geomancy.net/mypictures/cgi-bin/mypictures.cgi?img=0&search=6+coins&cat=all&bool=and&x=4&y=8 2a. There are two pictures: (apologies, I will replace the pictures soon with more clearer ones as it was accidentally taken with micro-lens). File: 6coins1.jpg - this is where, 6 local coins are hung with a red paper in a series of 2 by 2 joined together. This 6 coins was hung at the curtain area. File: coins1.jpg - the Singapore One Dollar coin has a Ba Gua shaped profile. 2b. Because of the Ba Gua shaped profile within the coin, it was felt that it can be used as a cure. 3. The rationale for the i-ching coins being round with a square hole is:- 3a. The external roundness of the coin represents the Metal element. 3b. The square hole represents the Earth element. Where under the Five elements concept: - Earth helps Metal to grow i.e. make it stronger. - Fire or the string used to bind the 6 coins helps to control the Metal i.e. so that it can be used. 4. The Singapore coins is considered a `poorer' alternative as compared to the I-ching coins. Therefore, it is felt that even if your coin(s) have the Ba Gua or trigram shape, it would not be as effective as " the three relationship combinations " as mentioned under Para 3. Where one can notice the mix of three components: Metal / Earth / Fire elements. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  6. Dear Anon, 1. In my opinion, this is a new area i.e. rearing of domestic "animals" - in relation to Feng Shui. More commonly, fishes are rearer especially goldfish which is considered of the metal element. As " gold " in the fish is considered of the metal element. Even the popular and expensive " dragon fish " is considerd of the metal element. Thus, it is very common for Feng Shui practitioners - in particular many years back - the Hong Kong Feng Shui practitioners `love' to implement cures for lamp posts by asking their clients to place "gold fish" e.g. at a window facing the `sha qi' or poison arrow. Thus, the fish (metal element), the water (water element) are good combinations that usually interact with the wood lamp post. In such a three cycle effect, it creates an auspicious combination. And the `interplay' of the five elements concept. 2. Overall, human beings are warm blooded. And human activity do help in bringing `yang' energy into a house. 3. There is this true story: This office is located in a business complex in Tampines, Singapore. So happens that the office area has a missing corner at South-West. The office is at third storey of this business complex. And it was not occupied for a long time. When the occupants first occupied it; 1 senior manager said that he came into the office one day (early morning) and sat at his office table. He noticed "someone" seated at a seat at the South-West. For a moment he thought that someone had occupied that seat. Another colleague, which is an Assistant Manager - also saw the " ghost or spirit". The occupant of the PC, had strange problems trying to shut-down the PC many times. However, as soon as "more yang" activity i.e. more staff, came into work in this office (approximately 35 persons) -- as the yang activity increased - the `ghost or spirit' disappeared completely. 4. In my opinion, human yang activity does help in `cleaning' an area. 5. For dogs, I have seen situation where, prior to a spirit entering a "Spirital person"; I saw an large breed dog, feeling uneasy and began barking and barking, and moving uneasy (the dog was chained at that moment). 6. There are more of such incidents; which lead me to (feel that) or not discount animals as part of `living' qi. I am not too sure how much significant effect a rabbit does but it is I believe a warm blooded animal - but only much much smaller...and not sure if it has that significant mass as a "wood element". Frankly, I do not have much experience in this area. 7. The only `problem' of rabbit and mice is that they breed easily especially if it is a pair of male and female. And the size grows expotentially. I feel that this is the major consideration. Otherwise, if isolated e.g. males - males or female - female only then it is only the issue of maintenance. Otherwise, I personally see no `evil' or `bad luck' in keeping pets. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  7. Dear Ben, Once again, thank you for the additional photos. I have one question - is the pillar at your front door made of concrete or wood. Appreciate if you can confirm the element of the pillar (above). Will reply all the questions, when I receive your reply. Once again, thanks for making it much easier for me. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  8. Dear Gabriel, Please see below:- 24 is actually the 24 directions or mountains under the Flying Star Feng Shui. Where each sector of the compass i.e. 360 degrees is divided by 15 degree increments which results in 24 directions or mountains. East/West Group is also known as Eight House and basically, it is finding the house compass direction and `slotting' the house into either North , South, East, West, NE, SE, SW, NW or 8 compass directions. Under the Flying Star Feng Shui not only is the house Feng Shui if a house is at `North' one must determine which of the North sectors it belongs to. For example in the Flying Star you have:- Direction ========= North 1 North 2 North 3 and each 8 directions of a compass has 3 directions. Where 8 x 3 = 24 directions to choose from. For example, you can check out the free Flying Star report at http://www.geomancy-online.com. Here, under the Flying Star Feng Shui an additional variable is the birth chart of the house. You must know when the house was built or when a major renovation has taken place. With this information and the door direction, you can then use the " 24 " that you had mentioned. If you want to know more about how to take a compass direction to determine the main entrance door then check out:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-cecilcompass.htm If you want to find out more about the Eight House (which is a stepping stone to Flying Star Feng Shui): then check out: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm For more info on Flying Star Feng Shui:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/fst/fst-flyingstar.htm In fact, Eight House or " 8 directions " and Flying Star or " 24 directions " are the only TWO compass school Feng Shui. Please refer to my comments above. In Chinese metholodogy, Pillars of Destiny is used here or can be used to determine company logos. For example, if a person is considered of a water element, the company logo can be e.g. blue in colour and design can be wavy etc... In my opinion, if one is new to Feng Shui, my suggestion is take your time to digest all the information first. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  9. Dear Anon, 1. You can learn more about Shapes and Form Feng Shui at this URL:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/resources.htm (The Free Fun with Feng Shui website or get the Applied Feng Shui book). 2. Or if you are at any local bookstore, you can try to find out books on `Basic Feng Shui'. Majority of books written on Feng Shui today - are those of Shapes and Form Feng Shui. Therefore, you should not have any problems buying any of them. Take the opportunity to browse thru before u buy them. Specifically, avoid "like the plague" any books where the author `express thanks to Lin Yun' or mentioned Black Hat Sect. I feel that books of this nature are not of proper Feng Shui. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  10. Dear Peck Wun, Off-white refers to a colour that is white but has a tinge of grey. Or it can also be considered as white with very light shades of other pigments e.g. red, blue, green or yellow. When one look at off-white colour, it is exactly white but slightly duller white. Many of the new paints are white in colour but when we look it at an angle, it looks more like the e.g. pink. Here, very minimal pink is added to these colours. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  11. Dear Ben, Thanks for the recent photos. Overall, a Bagua (Pakua) mirror above the window should be ok since you are unable to implement the rest of the other cures. It should be able to neutralise the sha qi. (It would nice to have more - but OK.) The skylight in the middle is acceptable. In fact many of the older Chinese houses do have skylight coming in to the middle court yard. However, if it would not be acceptable if there is a tree exactly in the middle of the court yard. As in one of the recent mail, I mentioned that it is inauspicous to do so. Ideally, the staircase, should be avoided at exactly the centrepoint - and also it should have one or two or more turnings (depending on the height of the building and landings) It is common to have glass on the door. There are subjective views on glass. Some say that it is `water element' while others say that it is of the metal element. While crystals, is thought to be either water element or earth element. In my opinion, glass is made up of tight structures and I personally consider it as the metal element. Frankly, I feel that there is'nt any issue with glass fixed to wooden doors. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  12. Dear Chee Siong, 1. In my opinion, it is best in your case to get a Feng Shui audit done to check thoroughly on the house. 2. Flying Star Feng Shui is a powerful tool that can help locate sectors that may be too yin. 3. The Chinese Luopan is a good detector. 4. Under Shapes and Form Feng Shui, sectors of concern are usually NE and SW. In particular especially if the main entrance is either at the NE or SW sectors. Certain missing sectors need to be further looked at. 5. After visiting a location and falling sick is a coincidence that this needs to be looked at closely/investigated. 6. Normally, if there are any activities (if any) human activity would create a Yang force that would negate it. 7. Alternatively, if you are not using Feng Shui investigations: can contact local priests to come to the house to pray. Apologies, on the above... and I am not saying that there are any of the above. Just be on the cautious side. In a future, I would relate a case with regards to paranomal activities. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  13. Dear Peck Wun, 1. In my opinion there are several `degrees' of consideration of `auspicious dates'. 2. In my opinion, it would be `nice to have' getting the key on an auspicious date - if we can try to do so. 3. But more important dates are:- 4. Dates for symbolic move in:- Here, prior to moving in we can choose a symbolic date to move in first:- - if we do not want to move into the house immediately - we can do a symbolic move-in. - if the 7th month is coming close but one has no choice but must absolutely move in in the 7th month. (For those who are not aware, the Chinese consider the 7th month inaupicious for moving or travelling. As this is the month -- the gates of hell is opened ...) 5. Some have their rental lease expiring and do or `die' they must move out on 7th month. Then choose a symoblic date to move in first. 6. For start of renovations - this is not compulsory but many people requests for auspicious date(s) to start the renovation. 7. A `hidden' situation is that once you move in old furniture, this date is symbolically the move-in date. However, if we are bringing in change of clothes or other toiletries to clean the house - this is not normally considered a symbolic move. 8. Therefore, it is `nice to have' an auspicious date for getting the keys. But in my opinion, this is not compulsory. More important is to select a good date to move-in. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  14. Dear Anon, 1. In my opinion, and from messages received privately and thru this forum, " Sector Feng Shui " is too general to be of any use to a user. 2. In my opinion, there is therfore nothing magical about Mandarin Ducks. The only `magic' is that one's money disappears and ends up in the producer of mandarin ducks and in-between -- the other middlemen earning commission from it. 3. There are many reasons under Feng Shui for a fall in romance luck or generally - unlucky in marriage. Just to give you an example: For those who stay in a house with `large' amounts of doors (in relation to the size of the frontage). Often, many of the women in the house would remain single -- all their lifes. 4. Therefore, Feng Shui does give hope but this means that one may have to use a barrage of holistic Feng Shui methods. As given in the above example, Shapes and Form Feng Shui can influence a house e.g. romance luck. 5. Another reliable method is the Flying Star Feng Shui. For certain houses (e.g. if there is a romance luck) and if there are imbalances at that particular sector -- it may affect romance luck. 6. Therefore, if it is general question asked about `romance' or failure in romance - it is very difficult at this point in time for anyone to pintpoint or use Feng Shui without further investigations in the use of various concepts. I have not brought out the other concepts like Pillars of Destiny. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  15. Dear Peck Wun, Thank you for bring up a very interesting question. 1. White not just belong to metal element but in the greater picture of Feng Shui - white represents yang. 2. The most yang colour is considered red. But white or off-white, because of its good `reflective' qualities is good in a house. 3. As overall, a house should be more yang than yin. Unless one is a hermit, natural light is still the best. And white walls are therefore better for a home. Even when we turn on artifical light, white or off-white colours are better. 4. I mentioned earlier that you had brought up a very interesting question. The rationale is also because Earth element is UNIQUE as compared to any of the other 4 elements:- 4.1. The rationale for this is that `earth' is everywhere. And earth element is inabundant. This is why earth element is at the `centre' of any house. 4.2 In the Five element seasons it is also interesting to note that there are four seasons and each season represents an element (each). But what is unique about earth element is that it is predominantly all year round. And in particular in a simple cycle of seasons:- Spring comes... Before spring `dies' earth becomes predominant before the next season And goes away... Summer comes... Before summer `dies' earth becomes predominant before the next season And goes away... Autumn comes.... Before autumn `dies' earth becomes predominant before the next season And goes away... Winter comes... Before winter `dies' earth becomes predominant before the next season And goes away... 4.3 This information gives us a clue or show us that EARTH element is always predominant. And although it does not represent an element i.e. Winter = Water element. Earth, continues to be strong all year round. 4.3 Therefore, for those born with the Earth element e.g. even if the person is a Weak Earth person -- metal element in general does no great harm e.g. painting say the house white. 5. In fact, it could be a `blessing' in disguise. The rationale for this is because all the worst elements in Flying Star Feng Shui e.g. #5 misfortune and #2 sickness is attributed by being earth elements therefore. Therefore, in both Yin and Yang concept, white = bright and in Flying Star -- it does no harm to have more metal element applies. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  16. Dear Anon, 1. Chinese Astrology primarily focuses on the Year of Birth and is generally considered in my view. 2. The main advantage of Chinese Astrology, in my opinion, is highlighted on the homepage of lovesigns.net where it emphasizes the importance of understanding each other's personalities to enhance relationships and love life. 3. "Auto-suggestion" plays a significant role in Chinese Astrology, where discovering that you and your spouse's Year of Birth are deemed incompatible can influence your thoughts and actions. 4. Being mindful of such information can lead to a form of "auto-suggestion" that may impact your relationship, potentially causing disagreements or dislikes over certain matters. 5. Many individuals tend to focus on specific character traits, such as those associated with zodiac signs like Gemini or Taurus, and may internalize these traits based on the concept of "auto-suggestion." 6. Pillars of Destiny utilizes a combination of the 12 earthly branches (Rat, Ox, Snake) and the ten heavenly stems to provide insights into one's destiny. 7. Unlike Basic Chinese Astrology, Pillars of Destiny takes into consideration not only the Year of Birth but also the Month, Day, and Time of birth. 8. Each pillar in Pillars of Destiny corresponds to an animal sign based on the earthly branch, leading to various combinations or clashes with different animal signs in an individual's chart. 9. For instance, apart from being born in the Year of the Rabbit, you may have other animal signs in your Month, Day, and Time pillars. 10. It is possible that you may have the "Tiger" sign in one of your pillars, offering a sense of reassurance and understanding in interpreting your destiny. Wishing both of you Martial Bliss! Warmest Regards, Cecil
  17. Dear Angie, Frankly, I am not too sure about it. But, I believe it is a lucky coincidence! It is certainly nice to hear that your fish has regained its colour! Wishing You GOOD LUCK! Cecil
  18. Dear Tammie, Under the Eight House Theory, the critical situation is that other than the main entrance i.e. Is this house suitable to the breadwinner; one must spent time at a specific sector. For example, it is not possible to spent `quality time' or literally spent time there as much as we want to. This theory therefore has it's limitations in that if it happens to be one's personal good sectors e.g. toilet(s), kitchen, and if one cannot spent time there then, one cannot do much more -- to enhance that sector. This theory, therefore is about good sectors -- e.g. to spent time at. And if one can't -- no remedy. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  19. Dear Anon, Under the 20 Year Flying Star analysis; if you not doing any major renovations under Period 8 -- your house will remain under Period 7. Yes, under Period 8, NE will continue to have 7,1,7 and you should continue to use Fire as a general cure for 20 Year Flying Star. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  20. Dear John, In my opinion as far as the Feng Shui of the house is concerned -- majority of the cures relate to placement of 6 coins. Frankly, so far, I have quite of RC clients and in this website... there is no compulsion to place or advice given to place inside the house things that you had mentioned. For six coins, as a cure under Flying Star Feng Shui, users in Singapore has an alternative of using 6 Singapore 1 dollar coins. (As shown under the following url - file reference: 6coins1.jpg:- http://www.geomancy.net/mypictures/cgi-bin/mypictures.cgi?img=0&search=6+coins&cat=all&bool=and&x=7&y=9 Warmest Regards, Cecil
  21. Dear Anon, 1. If it is a concrete beam then use two wooden bamboo flutes:- http://www.geomancy.net/mypictures/cgi-bin/mypictures.cgi?img=0&search=bamboo&cat=Feng_Shui_Cures&bool=and&x=11&y=17 2. Place the bamboo flute on any side of the concrete beam. 3. If it is a wooden beam (usually if it is less than 3 inches (width) by 6 inches -- there is really not much issue or the supression of Qi is in my opinion minimal. Otherwise, for concrete beam - metal element should be used instead. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee
  22. Dear Thomas, 1. Since you are writing a paper on Feng Shui, in my opinion, it would be appropriate in many of the questions for you to do some homework (rather than being spoonfed on some easy answers). 2. To help you further, please sent a personal e-mail to support@geomancy.net so that I can credit you with Paid credit on the book " Applied Feng Shui " - where I will direct you there to find some of the answers to certain questions. In order to do so, you must have created a an account at http://www.geomancy-online.com. Let us know the account. 3. Therefore I would:- 3.1 Refer you to my book if answers can be found there. 3.2 Questions that need an appropriate answer - I will answer them. Can be found in the Applied Feng Shui book (as mentioned above). For the sector Feng Shui or Eight Aspirations/Life Associations - use the Free report at http://www.geomancy-online.com and generate a free report there. You will find an explantion on the use of this report. You can review the resources here:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-four.htm And you can find the importance or key essence in my book " Applied Feng Shui ". Go here: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm Chinese astrology is closely related to Pillars of Destiny. And not Compass School Feng Shui. Where Pillars of Destiny and Chinese astrology use similar `objects' or elements i.e. the 12 Chinese zodiac signs. Pillars of Destiny not only includes this but more. Read the " Applied Feng Shui " book and try to draw your own conclusions here. Find out more in the book. Read up the topic on Compass School in the book. Qi (Chi) is used in all areas of Chinese culture. From Chinese martial arts, acupunture to Feng Shui. And qi (the invisible force) can be cultivated. You can read the introduction on Qi in the book. Refer to the book. Rather than answer this question. You should try to look around more Feng Shui sites and even Feng Shui emporiums. To see the level of commercialisation that may have gone into it. In particular the Black Hat Sect has taken Feng Shui to another level = the greatest commercialised scheme or modern invention that gives Feng Shui a bad name. You should try to look at or find out more about Feng Shui sites: Traditonal Feng Shui sites Black Hat sect sites FS emporiums An authentic Feng Shui practitioner should be able to cure bad Qi. the only thing that he/she cannot cure is external factors - such as if a house is at a T junction etc... Here, it can still be corrected. But houses predominantly with really bad Shapes and Form may not be cured entirely. Feng Shui is not a cure all. Each Feng Shui concept has its purpose or aim. And also the strength and weakness. Some things are better cured with modern medicines. What do you think? It is good instead for you to come to a conclusion. In my opinion, I totally enjoyed the proper use of Feng Shui. And if it is properly applied - yes - it is of practical use. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  23. Dear Anon, Frankly, your question is too general to `diagnose' what went wrong. Perhaps, you can be more specific in your question. For those who are new to the forum can find out more on how to get quick reply:- http://www.geomancy.net/contact/contact-forum-etiquette/contact-forum-etiquette.htm Warmest Regards, Cecil
  24. Dear Laurie, 1. Yes, Flying Star is based on the 9 periods of the Chinese calendar system. 2. For the benefit of users who are not aware what is the nine periods. You can view this URL: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-calendar.htm 3. One 1 Cycle of the lunar calendar consists of 180 years or 9 periods x 20 years. 4. Each cycle is divided into 3 groups: Upper, Middle and Lower. Each group comprise 3 periods. Each period is 20 years. 5. This is where the Flying Star Feng Shui is based on this 20 year cycle. 6. And as you have mentioned can be classified as the Year cycle. From what you had mentioned, it is true that within each 20 year cycle, the numbers or periods 1 , 2, 3... to 9 flows in each year. In general it goes from `birth' Period 1 to `struggle' Periods 3 to 6. And `prosperity' around Period 7 to 9. And returns to birth again. Therefore, for example, each year is govern by a `Period number'. Please see below:- Year 2000 - Period 9 Year 2001 - Period 8 Year 2002 - Period 7 Year 2003 - Period 6 Year 2004 - Period 5 Year 2005 - Period 4 Year 2006 - Period 3 Year 2007 - Period 2 Year 2008 - Period 1 Year 2009 - Period 9 Year 2010 - Period 8 Year 2011 - Period 7 Year 2012 - Period 6 Year 2013 - Period 5 From the above, one can find that in Year 2001 - this is the new Period 1 and in year 2009 - this is the last Period 9. And in 2010 - Period 1 starts again. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  25. Dear Sheila, 1. Yes, I do agree with you. There is relatively no problem with stone Buddha in conflict with the Grand Duke. 2. Before, all of us get `carried away with the concept of Grand Duke... *JOKE* The relevant idea is that Grand Duke that it is the planet Jupiter. And Jupiter is the largest planet it's magnetic field or force is what is considered as having a an influence. Much like the tiny moon that affects our tide. 3. Overall, in my opinion although there are two major `dislikes' of the Grand Duke: a. Touching (e.g. painting a wall) and b. Distrubing him 4. I feel that the greater impact is under Para 2 i.e. disturbing him. Especially e.g. digging earth at the South sector. 5. In fact, one week prior to Chinese New Year on 12 February 2002; I was `frantically' clearing up my garden as it is situated at the south. Eg. digging earth i.e. relaying/removing some underground garden hose etc... Phew! after doing so, as this is the start of the new year, I dare not touch this area anymore! 6. In the past, some of the users had reported e.g. when grand duke was at the East, and there were some diggings e.g. construction work diagonal to the room they were sleeping in -- sickness occured in that room. Warmest Regards, Cecil
