  2. Case Study 6: HDB Aranda Breeze employs the Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System or PWCS for short. The tell tale sign is a bin centre and there are no service roads to each block where a waste disposal truck could reverse to. Is there a concern with this Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System? Understand more... as it is far from being a "Smart" system. Rather, it relies heavily on utmost consideration of residents in the estate... else
  3. Case Study 5: Units near to a Precinct Pavilion Learn what may be the concern staying near-by to a Precinct Pavilion (PP).
  4. Case Study 4: Luckily there are no stack numbers like 114 or 144! However there is only 141 and so far not really that distinctive. So often a non-issue with such a number!
  5. Case Study 3: Inauspicious Fire @ Heaven's Gate Sample findings show 151, 153, 155, 157. 159 & 161 affected by the above. Okay, the above are not exhaustive. As I can easily spot a further three more stacks with the same concerns. Can you spot these? What is Fire @ Heaven's Gate:
  6. In my opinion, by the looks of the photos, especially the profile of the house + the bend, house external Shapes and Forms not perfect, safe enough (from harm). Therefore generally still acceptable.
  7. Case Study 4: Too close for comfort Sample Stacks like #219 & #259 have their frontage close-by to the common bin lobby
  8. Referring to the Service Bay Case Study 6: Avoid low floors of stacks #100 and #102. Why? As the service bay (loading & unloading bays) circled in red will be heavily utilised especially by the supermarket and even vendors sending stuffs to the Eating House!
  9. Case Study 5: Good that the Eating House faces away from the interior. Also makes it visible to the external traffic
  10. Case Study 4: A case of one man's meat is another man's poison Some Chinese are more sensitive to numbers like 114 and 144 Less so for numbers like 104 or 140
  11. Case Study 3: Sample Sha Qi or Poison arrow from neighbouring Block This is a typical Sha Qi from the sidewall of #166 aimed towards the Living room of Stack 138 Please note that this is just a sample. As a quick glance tells me that there are lots, lots of similar situations in this development. To learn more of this kind of Sha Qi
  12. Hi [name hidden], 1. It is not a complete symbol that an exact Chinese Character/Word, unlike these four more commonly used character this Double Happiness (Xi) used in in the wedding or Fu (Good Fortune), Lu (Wealth) or Shu (Longevity). 1.1. Double Happiness https://www.freepik.com/premium-vector/double-happiness-chinese-character-xi-used-as-decoration-symbol-marriage_31101997.htm 1.2. Fu Lu Shu Characters https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo/chinese-good-fortune-symbol.html?sortBy=relevant http://www.wabei-mono.com/designs/?page_id=61 2. So honestly, I cannot tell you exactly what's the meaning. However, that shape actually comes from this symbol in this image (the two bottom left and right shape). Which is expanded into the round pattern that you are asking about or some kind of mystic symbols. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/477029785508579833/ https://www.pinterest.com/pin/1477812366090962/ 3. I have seen it a lot in a lot of talisman as that is the fundamental shape of how most talisman structure is based on. So it appears to have more of either a protection / immortality / longevity etc type of symbol probably from a Tibetan origin. So I guess it has that kind of meaning due to the uniform nature of the shape. You may want to search more into "Chinese Talisman", as I seem to see a lot of that symbol found in that topic to find the exact meaning that you are looking for. Hope that helps. 14. Case Study 2: Sample stacks affected by the inauspicious Fire at Heaven's Gate Can affect male breadwinner's career and also affect overall luck of entire family. Stacks: #136, #138, #174, #176, #178, #180 For all these stacks, no running away from Fire @ Heaven's Gate unless the kitchen is somewhere else = impossible to do so. For Stacks #210 and #224, it depends on where one locates the stove Learn more about Fire @ Heaven's Gate:
  15. Case Study 3A: Samples of Sha Qi or Poison Arrow(s) from neighbouring blocks Sample 1: Poison arrow from Stack #771 towards #747 Sample 2: Poison arrow from Stack #767 towards #701 Note: Quick eye-ball method. There can be more! Case Study 3B: Sha Qi from Multi-Storey Car Park MSCP building Avoid #02-703 to #08-303. Safer from #10-303 onwards so as to clear the lamp posts often found at the roof-top of the MSCP.

  17. Case Study 2: Common Bin Lobbies are too close to the frontage (Living Room and Bedroom windows) of Stacks #112 and #134
  18. Case Study 2: HDB Miltonia Breeze employs the Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System or PWCS for short. The tell tale sign is a bin centre and there are no service roads to each block where a waste disposal truck could reverse to. Is there a concern with this Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System? Understand more... as it is far from being a "Smart" system. Rather, it relies heavily on utmost consideration of residents in the estate... else
  19. Case Study 6: Any concern facing or staying near a Precinct Pavilion (PP)? Highlighted in Yellow = low floors can see into a PP. Understanding why it may not be a good idea to face a Precinct Pavilion:
  20. Case Study 5: Watch that vehicle head-lights! Best to avoid low floors especially #517, #519 and especially #681. This is where vehicles turning especially towards the MSCP may inadvertently shine their head-lights towards the living room and bedrooms of these units. Do also avoid low floors of #691 in the event that some cars may turn into the service road towards block 212B, 212D etc...
  21. Case Study 4: Oh Dear! Common Bin Lobby (CBL) is not only close-by, but I can see the entrance of the CBL Some Feng Shui Masters "swears" by the front door. If so, you have had it! Else, when it comes for re-sale, then "Best of Luck!"
  22. Case Study 3A: Shops, Supermarket , Restaurants and Eating House Of "Lower the noise level after 10.00pm" + rats and roaches Common sense says it is advisable to avoid purchasing low floors especially Stacks 567 and 569. And those highlighted in yellow Case Study 3B: Loading and Unloading Bays Expect especially trucks, vans and large vehicles moving in and out. Often, some vehicles don't care about the law and leave their vehicles on. Avoid low floors close to the yellow highlighted areas such as #557, #559, #567 & #569
  23. Case Study 2: Better a church then a Chinese Temple anytime! Okay, okay, I get it! Not when it is time for re-sale. Don't want to get low-ball offers, that's all! Another consideration is to avoid facing the roof-top spine or Cross - if any. Related: Mosque spine and Tampines GreeenSpring Estate
  24. Case Study 2A: Common Bin Lobby (CBL) and Bin Chutes and Stacks 116 & 118 Too close for comfort! #118 = I am too close and can smell #116 = I can see into the CBL What say you? Not my problem! It's not mine! Case Study 2B: Hope that #134 and #136 cannot see into the CBL
  25. Case Study 3: How is the External Shapes and Forms Feng Shui? Location. location, location = 4 Stars out of 5 [Would have been higher if not for it's proximity to the raised MRT tracks.] High rise buildings that have good air-flow around them.
