  1. Hello Chris,
Thanks for your advise...I've been told about this bad star 5, but method of cure seems to be different. I was told that since the star 5 belongs to earth, the cure will be more effective if "metal" elements is placed on the floor at your main door. What happen if the star 5 move away from the South position, is it necessary to remove the coins? In fact, my star 5 is at SE where my main door is located, and SE suppose to be wood. Wouldn't metal destroy wood?
    Any comments?
    Thanks.
    Regards.

    Hi janson,
Actually, the 6 coins that you
    are talking
about are called the "liu di
    qian". They belongs to the
    coins of 6 dynasty. I
have one at the top of my main
    entrance door.
As what Cecil mentioned, it is
    used to
    reduce the effect bought about
    by "wu huang",
which can bring back luck to
    you or your family. The
element of "wu huang" is earth
and the effect can be reduced
using a gold element (the 6
    coins).
    Just to let you know,
    according to the Yearly flying
    star, this year "wu huang"
will be moved to the south. If
    your main entrance door, room
door, bed, etc is located in
this direction. You have to be
    very careful. Hope that helps!

  2. Hi Cecil,
Sometime ago, I happen to talk to a Fengshui "master", and was advise to place 6 i-ching coins on the floor(glued) of my front door. The coins have to be arranged in certain order (the names of the six emperor, can't remember which order). Reason for this is that my front door is facing South, which is not auspicious this year. I was told to take the compass direction of my main door, standing inside the house, facing the door, which is totally different from what you have advise. If I take the reading of my front door, using the center of the house, it will be under the SE sector. South & SE is two different direction. The fengshui "master" also says that it is okay to leave the coin there even after this year. What will happen is I place the coins in the SE, which belongs the wood, and I belong to weak earth.
    Thanks.
    Regard.

  3. Hi Robert, Cecil,
As mention in some mailing list that the wealth element of a earth person is water.
What is the rational behind this? Does it matter if the person is a weak or a strong earth person, and how do we make use of this "wealth" element? Does this wealth belongs to "zhen cai" or "heng cai" or something else?
Is it the element that the person's element destroy, will be the wealth element?
water person - wealth = fire
wood person - wealth = earth
fire person - wealth = metal
metal person - wealth = wood
    Pls advise.
    Thanks
    Regards.

  4. Hi Cecil,
Can we calculate the Heavenly Stem & Earthly Branches of the current day, and compare to our birth "day" pillar element to find our favorable day. (the day with better luck)

  5. Hi Robert,
    Thanks for your prompt reply.
How do you define "enhance". Let say for
a weak metal person, he should use metal
to enhance his element with metal. Does it
have to be in contact with the body or it just have to be in your pocket or bags? and
does the size of the metal matters?
As for a weak earth, favorable elements should be earth and fire. What items should be used ? FIRE?? Is crystal useful in this case? the same question again , does the size of the crystal matters. The bigger the better?
Out of Fengshui topic, do you access to internet using dial-up or lease line?
    (Just curious)
    Thanks
    Regards.

Personally, I think that you will obtain
more luck if you enhance yourself with
    your favourable elements rather then
    general items.
This is because if you enhance yourself
with elements favourable to you, it
increases your overall luck and bring
    your elements in balance.
Feng Shui is about balance and harmony.
It is not because of certain items that
    help you.
Take the 6 I-Ching coins for example, it
is similar to the 6 coins which is
advised as cures. So it is Strong Metal
    in nature.
If you are a Strong metal or Strong
Water, do you think these coins will
help you? It will in fact bring you so
out of balance that you may encounter
    many unforeseen problems.
My advice is never take general tips and
use them. Proper Feng Shui is complex
and there are no real solution to it.
The only way you can enjoy good luck or
    fortune is:-
    1. Reduce all bad influence.
    2. Enhance all good influence.
If you can do that, you can enjoy very
favourable good fortune:) However, it is
    often not easy
    Hope that helps!
    Warmest Regards
    Robert Lee
    Pls advise.
    Regards.
  6. Hi Robert,
As mention on some mails on the I-ching coins. I've came across this FengShui Shop at
People Park, a "product brochure" indicating that if you can put six i-ching in your wallet or handbags, it will bring your luck.
Any explanation on this? For a weak earth person, is it good to "keep in contact" with earth elements? like crystal or jade pendant
which should be of earth elements. rite?
    Pls advise.
    Regards.

  7. Hi Robert, Cecil,
How do I read the fengshui of my office...
Do I use the "entrance" to my table as the
"door" or the door to the entire office.
My office table have a low partition, about
1.5m with an opening as the entrance but without a door.
    Pls advise.
    Regards.

  8. Hi Cecil,
Is there a fixed pattern flow of chi in & within the house? Does 'chi' only comes in from the main door or it can also come in from the windows. When I open my main door, it is quite windy, do this have any relation to the flow of 'chi'?
Can I enhance fengshui, just from my bedroom?
Let say if I rent a room or the breadwinner (parents) of the house do not want to "practise" fengshui.
    Thanks.
    Regards.

  9. Dear Cecil,
Do we enhance our main door using elements that is in favour to us? or elements that is in favour to the sector where the main door is facing.
Lets assume that if I'm a weak earth person, and my main door is at the wood direction, wouldn't be wood is "destroying" earth under the destructive cycle? Should I place "wood" object to enhance the wood location or put earth elements to enhance my personal elements at the main door? Same goes to others sectors - West - with metal??
If I'm a weak earth, by placing more wood at the main door would it enhance the wood sector but thus "destroying" my personal elements? I'm total lost, pls enlighten.
    Thanks
    Regards.

    Unforunately, the

    You

    Your Wood House (SE

  10. Hi Cecil,
My mistake for the info, if according to the 4 Pillar, I'm suppose to be a "earth" element, and my main door is facing the "wood" direction. So, can I place crystal at my main door direction?
    From the 4 Pillar,
    Hr Day Mth Yr
    HS yi ji ding geng
    EB chou you hai shu
From the book "Hisa Calendar" I'm suppose to
be a "Yin Earth" does it mean I'm a "weak" earth?
Do we put "object" in each sectors according to which elements they belongs to or do we have to consider out "own" element before that.
e.g. for east direction, we should place "wood" object, west direction - metal, but do we need to consider which elements we belongs to ?
    Thanks.
    Regards.

    Hi Cecil,
    If my
main door is facing the SE
    direction,
    and i suppose to
    be wood. Can I place
    crystal
    at that direction?
    I'm currently having a display
    shelf with crystal just
    at my
    main door.
    Any advise?

    As

    Quote
    you have not mentioned whether
you are either a Strong Wood
    or Weak Wood
    person, the
    advice can go half-half
    i.e.

    Assuming you are a

    Quote
    Strong Wood
    person,
    ======================
    ==========
    1. The main door of
    your house is facing
    South-East. The main element
    of a
    South-East house is
    considered as a " Wood "
    house.

    2. What happens is

    Quote
    that the South-East house
    strengthens a Strong
    Wood
    person causing an
    imbalance.

    In such a

    Quote
    situation, ideally, if you are
    a Strong Wood person, you
    should
    not add Water element
    to strengthen your Strong Wood
    element.
    If so, such a person
    may develop health problems or
    face competition e.g.
    in
    work.

    Here, you may have

    Quote
    to avoid placing a
    `collection' or a few pieces
    of
    crystals (of the Water
    element) depending on the
    shape of the crystals.
    One
    "small" crystal e.g. less
than the size of a small apple
    does `no harm'.

    Assuming you

    Quote
    are a Weak Wood
    person,
    ======================
    ==========
    1. The main door of
    your house is facing
    South-East. The main element
    of a
    South-East house is
    considered as a " Wood "
    house.

    2. What happens is

    Quote
    that the South-East house
    strengthens a Weak Wood
    person
    helping his weak wood
    to grow.

    In such a situation,

    Quote
ideally, if you are a Weak
    Wood person, you can add
    Water
    element to strengthen your
    Weak Wood element. (But avoid
    doing it
    excessively.)
    Here,
    you may consider placing
    crystals (of the water
    element).

    Alternatively, if

    Quote
    you are not considering
whether, you are a Strong or
    Weak
    wood person, most
    probably have to use your
    personal `intuition' or
    Feng
    Shui by Intuition. (If
    you feel comfortable, then
    that's fine).

  11. Hi Cecil,
I hope you can advise me on getting the right position of the center of my house as I see that a slight different in location makes quite a different in the facing of the main door.
Pls see attached, the floor plan of my house.
Regarding the walls, A and B have different "thickness", which one should I use? and what about the area at C, can I discard it.
Pls advise if the center of the house drawn is correct. To what I've calculate, the degree of my door facing is between 155 - 160. This falls between SE & S1.
Without getting it right I don't think I can continue, else everything will not be right?
    Pls help.
    Thanks & Best regards.

  12. Hi Cecil,
Can I look into the feng shui of my new house if I have not actually move in yet? The house have been renovated but I will only move in after Oct 99. Occasionally, I will stay there for a few days in a week(weekend/holidays).
Will enhancing the feng shui of my house benefit to me if it is "vacant" now?
    Thanks.
    Regards.
