  1. Dear Cecil: I'ma strong water. What's the best car color for me, red, green, or yellow? Thank you very much, Hoa
  2. Dear Cecil: I'm thinking about adding a roof for the building of my business. The roof will be a metal roof painted RED. The building outside walls are a very, very light bluish white. The reason I'm thinking of having a RED roof is because fire (red roof) burns metal (white walls) to produce wealth. Is my reasoning correct? Is there anythingBAD about having a red metal roof? Thank you very much for your advice. Hoa
  3. Dear Cecil: In the year 2007, the Grand Duke will sit in N-NW 330 deg, and the location in conflict is West. Does this mean that Ishould notdo any digging in the N-NW 330 deglocation or the Eastlocation of my property? Thank you very muchfor your advice, hoa
  4. Dear Cecil: Not just the glass, but all the frames were replaced also. Basically, I got all new windows including frames and glass (all 14 of them). Does this change the house period? Thanks again, Hoa
  5. Dear Cecil: A week ago, I had allthe windows (14 of them) replaced in my house whichwas built in P7. Does this change the houseperiod to P8? Thanks for your advice, Hoa
  6. Dear Robert or Cecil: I'm looking to buy a house. This one is NE1,P7. I'm a strong water, west house person. So this house seems fine. Also there is no bathroom facing the front door, next to the front door, in the center of the house. The only problem is that the front door facing half of the stairs (as shown in the picture). But there is not enough space to place a screen between the door and the stairs. Will it work if I place a tall tree in front of the railings to cover them soyou cannot see the railings when you stand at the front door? Thanks much for your advice, Hoa
  7. DearMaster Lee: I'm a strong water. A few of my inauspicious days this month are fire element which is my wealth color. It was suggested in the auspicous dates section that I should wear my favorable elements on the inauspicious days. My favorable elements are wood, earth and fire. My reasoning is that I should wear earth color on an inauspicious fireelement day since earth reducesfire. Am I reasoning correctly? Thank you very much for the advice, Hoa
  8. Dear Cecil/Robert: My house is SW2, P7 house. My bedroom is in the NE. According to the 2006 flying star, the NE sector has double 7s, base 1 and year star 6 which you said is a good sector for this year. My bedroom wall is painted beige. I'm a strong water, and thecolors that are good for me are red (fire), beige (earth) and green (wood). So my bed sheets are either red or beige or green.Would any of these bed sheet colors (red, beige or green) not be good for my NE room this year? Thanks very much for the advice, Hoa
  9. Dear Robert: Under P7, stars 6 and 1 are considered "average stars", but under P8, they are "auspicious stars". This is very confusing!, why is there such difference? Please explain. Thank you very much, Hoa
  10. for some reason the drawing wasn't attached in previous message. I'm attaching it again.
  11. Dear Robert: Attached is the drawing of my building. I'm planning to cover the bottom part of the building with bricks (where the ???? is). Would you please tell me which color bricks is better for my building, red or yellow? I'm a strong water, my business is fire element. Thank you so much, Hoa
  12. Dear Cecil or Robert: Attached is the drawing of my convenience store building. The top building facia is painted Red. The building is painted White. I'm planning to have the lower part of the building covered with bricks (where the '?????' is ). I told my store manager that I'm planning to have the light yellow bricks installed. I was thinking fengshui. Fire (the top red facia) burns metal (the white building) to produce wealth. Earth (the light yellow bricks) will strengthen the metal. That will keep my building, if not prosperous, at least in harmony. My store manger, who isn't into fengshui, prefers the natural red bricks or natural stones. He said the natural red bricks or natural stones will make the building stand out more than the light yellow bricks. That standing out will attract more attention from potential customers who drive by my store. And since it draws more attention, there will be more chances people will stop by to buy something. What he said also makes sense. Now I'm confused. I'm seeking your advice. Which are better for my building, light yellow bricks or natural red bricks/natural stones? Thank you so much for your advice.
  13. Dear Robert/Cecil: What element is the natural stone color? Thank you so much, Hoa
  14. Dear Cecil/Robert: Yesterday, when I was house-hunting, I came across this foreclosured house which has SW1 facing and built in P7. The front dooris in theSW3 sector. The shape and form feng shui inside the house looked OK (all the bathrooms are in the back of the house and on the outside walls, the center point is close to the stairs but not on the stairs, the stairs do not face the front door, the land the house sits on is flat, no sloping). The external of the houselooked OK, nothing to be alarmed about (no poison arrows). The house is on a cul-de-sac street, but it'son the parallel part of the street, and NOTin the cul-de-sac circle which I think should be OK (from what I remembered reading somewhere in this website). I waswondering why it was foreclosured, so I went homeand checked the flying star chart for SW1/P7 and it looked good. In fact, it has adouble 7's at thethe front door and only 2 bad sectors out of nine. The flying star chart for SW1/P8 is even better, a sum of ten house. SWand NE facing houses are supposed to be the best homes for me since I'm West house person and a strong water. Should I still consider bidding for this house even if it's a foreclosure? Thank you so much for the advice, Hoa
  15. Dear Cecil/Robert: While checking out the flying star for SW1/P8 home, I saw the above description "diagonal star robbery formation" whichexplained "the occupants will enjoy good health, wealth and prosperity for such a house". The aboveexplanationis very confusing to me. SW1/P8 has ms5, ws8, bs5, ys1. The 'diagonal star', I assume, are ms5 and bs5 (isn't the combination of two stars 5s the worst?). Plus the word 'robbery' doesn't sound good to me. The eigh-one combination for ms5 and ws8 is inauspicious. With all this analysis, I don't understand why it said "theoccupants will enjoy good health, wealth and prosperity..." Would you be kindly explain it further? Thank you so much for your advice, Hoa
  16. Dear Cecil or Robert: I just bought a used car since the price and mileageare too good. The color is silver. When the car is in the sun or in the presence of light,it shows a very, verylightgrey metallic. When the car is in the shade, it looks like agrey metallic. Is this car considered metal or waterelement? As always, thank you very much for your advice. Hoa
  17. Dear Cecil or Robert: I'm going to completely renovatethe convenient store for my gas station business.According tothe blue print, the architect puts the bathroom right next to my office (my office and the bathroom share the same wall), I don't think this is a good idea. Do you? Thebuilding's facing is S1 and this renovation will move the building to P8. According to the S1/P8 flying star chart, the W, SW andCenter sectors are inauspicious. Of course, I'm notgoing to put the bathroom in the center, sothat leaves Wand SW. According to the flying star chart, W sector (ms2, ws5, bs1) is bad; and the SW (ms7, ws9, bs5) is very bad.If I put the bathroom in the SW sector which is the southwest corner, it will be consideredat the frontage of the building. I rememberedCecil had told mein one of my previousquestions that it's not good to have bathroomat the frontage of the house. So should I put the bathroom in the West sector which is the back corner of the building? I'm a strong water, west house person, so W is my excellent and SW is my health direction. Would a West location bathroom be bad for me? Thank you very much for your advice, Hoa
  18. Dear Rober: I'm a strong water with West being my excellent direction and East being my death direction. However, W (metal) is my worst element and E (wood) is my best element. According to the house hunting report for P8, both E1 and W2/3 have double 8s at the front door facing, but E1 is better suited for me than W2/3 house. This tells me that from a front door facing fengshui standpoint, the bazi element is more important than the 8-house suitability. Am I correct? If I find a E1 facing house, the front door itself has to fall into either NE (my longevity) or SE (my irritation), then it's OK for my to buy this house (aslong as other fengshui issues like toilet etc.. are OK). But if the front door itself is also in the E sector, then it's not OK for me to buy this house. Am I correct? Thank you very much as always, Hoa
  19. Dear Robert: Thank you so much for your previous response that fire-earth-metal combination will be good for the building of my business. The building itself will be painted beige (earth). However, I'm still in a quandary about how to paint the facia of the building. The facia is at the top of the building and it covers the front and both the sides of the building. It has three panels which I list as 1, 2, 3. The facia has to be painted white or red or both. I desperately need your comments, please, in the following solutions: Solution-1: Paint panel 1 white, panels 2 and 3 red. Will this metal-fire-earth combination work? Solution-2: Paint panels 1 and 2 red, panel 3 white. How about this fire-metal-earth combination? Solution-3: Paint panels 1, 2 and 3 as shown in the attached picture (solution-3). The black portion is supposed to be red and thewhite portionis white. Please tell me which is the best solution? Thank you very much in advance for your advice. Hoa
  20. Dear Robert: What would be the element for the color tan? and the color khaki? Is it earth? Thanks a lot, Hoa
  21. HiRobert: What element is for the very, very light grey color (almost silver looking), water or metal? Thanks, Hoa
  22. Dear Robert: Thank you very much for anwering my last question so quickly. Attached is the picture of the shape of the plot of land, please tell me if the shape of this plot of land is bad fengshui? Thank you very much Hoa Luong
  23. Dear Master. Lee: My business is gas station which is fire element. The gas company that I'm purchasing gasoline from is asking their dealers to repaint their buildings. The approved colors are red, white, light grey or beige. My building is made of metal (NOT concrete or wood or brick, just all metal). The top facia of my building has three panels. I'm thinking about painting the top panel red (fire), the middle panel white (metal), the last panel red (fire). The building will be painted beige (earth). My reason for these colors is that fire produces earth, which produces metal, which is burnt by fire to create wealth. Is my reasoning correct? Please advice. Thank you very much Hoa
  24. Dear Cecil or Robert: My house is SW2/P7. My bedroom is in SW sector (ms4, bs 4, ws1, ys 1). I'd like to change the floor from carpet to wood. I'm having a lawsuit pending. Because of the ms4 and bs4, will this wood floor make my lawsuit situation worse? Thank you very much for your advice as always, Hoa
  25. Dear Cecil: Thank you very much for your response. I remember reading somewhere in this forum that you said one can activate ms8 if there isNO toilet in the location. Otherwise themountain star will fall into the toilet. What about the effect of toilet for water star? Can one still activate ws8 if there is a toilet in this location? Thank you very much for your advice. Hoa
