Day Element and Animal

Greetings Master Robert!

Kindly accept my thanks for clarifying my previous enquiry on 'Birth Element Contradiction' - it throughly cleared my doubts. Very HappyOn a side note, please allow me to ask one final question which is related the my Day Element.

I understand from the free online report that apart from my Day Element - Yang Fire - that there's also my Day Animal on the Earthly branch, which is Monkey for my case. So can i say my Day is effectively a Fire Monkey day?

If that is the case, could you enlighten me which pillar will play a major/central role in my character and outlook in life? (ie our personality is influenced more by our day than year animal?) Asit seems rathercommon that people use their Year of Birth animal as a guide (Ox for my case) to study the Yearly forecast literaturepublished by numerous Fengshui Master every Chinese New Year in bookstores.

So, is it that we should pay more attention to our Day element and animal instead of our Year animal, when it comes to yearly luck considerations? (As I have learnt from your informative website that the Day pillar plays the most important role in Bazi)

Troubling you again but earnestly seek your education.

Thank You!

Sincerely,

Ken

1. Traditionally, in general, one of the main purpose of ba zi is to "zero in" into most common tool: What isyour personal ba zi element and strength.

2. For example, a person may have a result as a "weak wood" person.

3. Although you are not wrong, sometimes it is very difficult or impractical to apply.

4.1 For example, the Flying Star Feng Shui has the 20 Year stars, the yearly stars, the monthly stars and even daily and hourly stars!

4.2 Thus, even if you know say the Water wealth star #8 is at a specific moment in time of the day, would one be free enough to have a moveable water feature to move around (a cluttered) home! It is not like plugging in a vacuum cleaner and moving it around with the cords dangling the house.

5. Ba zi with the final "result" as e.g. weak wood, strong wood, strong fire, weak fire is already an acceptable "universal" resultant of the analysis of each individual. Flying star numbers or Flying star "numerology" also uses the Five elements concept.

6. Thus the common denominator of your individual ba zi element and strength e.g. weak wood can be interfaced or correlated with the Flying Star Feng Shui as it also uses the Five elements concept as the common denominator. Of course, there are still many practitioners out there who don't even know how to interpret or worse, get one's ba zi element wrong! (This is besides the point, here).
