Logically, if it is a "new" as in brand new home; there is no issue with construction be it good or bad sectors.

Thus if you really mean NEW; then a newly built home from scratch is a very common thing:

For example, someone booked a terrace home and it is under construction and have not even moved in yet. Is this is a case of over-reacting?

Move-in procedures can be found under this url: http://info.geomancy.net and the usual practise of selecting a good date to move-in. For the Chinese, they don't really like to move in on the lunar 6th month; 7th month and the month of the Qing Ming also.

It is impossible to avoid bad sectors during renovation of a new house.
Renovation started in Nov 2009 and finished in June 2010 but
yet to move in.

Plse advise what could be done during or before moving in, sometime
in Sept 2010.

Much tks
