1. In general, try to avoid units facing the main road: Bedok Reservoir Road: have not gone into detalls but under Period 8; North stack facing directions are not the best.
2. In this development; the South facing would be the most popular; given that under this period South facing have the better qi (up to 2023). - Of course, pool view would be more expensive; and concindentally, many of the South facing especially S2 and S3 are good choices even if one is a west group.
3. From an eye-ball look; there should be some NE facing flats... these can be considered. SW is another consideration.
4. Again, just imagine where the afternoon sun comes into the development and take this into consideration for the purchase.

Further to what I had mentioned;
1. If one has a habbit of not leaving the main entrance door open nor intend to do so; then automatically, the facing direction is usually the area or facade that has the most light coming in as well as the greater the number of windows at this facade the greater the chance of qi coming in.
2. Thus often, the stack facing is a higher probability of it considered as the "facing" direction.
3. In terms of ranking via the Flying Star Feng Shui;
3.1. Best facing directions from now Period 8: upto 2023 are:-
3.1.1. Ranked 1: South-West (but in this development; the North-East may seem to be the better choice) if the SW does not oversea a pool or do not have as much a good view as North-East facing units.
3.1.2. Ranked 2: South (As mentioned previously; for this development; South coincides with the "pool view" for some of the units.
3.1.3. Others: In general; North facing homes have only a good star at the frontage and other sectors of the home are littered with lots of bad flying stars. So is NE or SE facing units.
4. For low floors, especially ground or 1st storey; units near to the club house; do look into whether the club-house shape e.g. corner of the club house edge acts like a shar qi or poison arrows.
5. Check how the cars enter into the basement car-park and whether it has any effects on an apartment one is considering = especially for low floor units. And how cars driving on the service road entering say the common car park pose noise issues.
6. Check where is the power station / rubbish dump area.
7. Look at the other development (and if it is also not completed) yet; try to imagine whether there are "ugly" views or poison arrows coming from sharp angles from own development or external development.
8. As mentioned in my first message; check against the dreaded afternoon sun. Whether it soaks into an unseen wall or filters into the home... (if any).

These are futher considerations:-
1. When buying low floors; besides the other considerations I had mentioned e.g. rubbish dump area / power station; service road leading to covered car-park:
1.1. For low floors; try to imagine whether considering the purchase of a unit close-by to the club-house may have external threats...
1.2. External threats can be trellises; or even the roof of the club house et...
1.3. Tree trunks slicing into the living room or other rooms or areas of the home..

Feng Shui of Ripple Bay condo

Nowadays, many condos such as Ripple Bay condo; such condos?use dry walls instead of pre-cast concrete walls between some rooms.

In this instance, if one looks carefully at the illustration; there is a thin (dry wall) wall between the master bedroom & bedroom 2.

Even if we mount the TV on an additional plywood board; do be careful of high EMF dose (if any) towards someone sleeping in the same position in bedroom 2.

Feng Shui of Ripple Bay Condo:-

From a Shapes & Forms Feng Shui, it is good that the architect / planner had concentrated all the toilets in a specific sector of the apartment.

Feng Shui at Ripple Bay Condo

Under Shapes & Forms Feng Shui + pure common sense, it is less than ideal to sleep especially if the face is close to the same wall as the WC.

Illustration showing a 4 bedroom flat D2P & D2 with the above concern

Ripple Bay’s open concept central rubbish bins on every floor: has it’s advantages and disadvantages...

Advantages:

1. No need to grasp hold of bin chute doors

2. Cockroaches have no where to hide

3. Three or more years later.. no costly replacement of rusty or decayed bin doors.

Are some of the plus ++

Units categorized as Good, Bad, and Ugly.

1. Keep in mind that while a geomancer may deem this development favorable, the quality of a unit also relies on its specific location within the development.

image.png.6a1342ebc3532d44bbe3fafe3ab28a79.png

2. Is your potential unit under the Good, the Bad or the Ugly?

image.png.6d4a74917ab7d962389d96ae7985fcd5.pngimage.png.bd794d1b7f491c9b83446ea6decded1c.png

3. Consider this scenario: the unit resembles a dilapidated 1,000 cc car that has seen better days. Not even a skilled Feng Shui Master could transform it into a desirable unit!

image.png.b996e340ebd63c1430835db31862a798.png

3.1. By the way, (above) this falls under Habit Number 11.

4. Under Habit 1, one possibility is by ranking one's bedroom type by stack/unit: 1st choice, 2nd choice etc...

The ABC's of Feng Shui...

image.png.c5822a8f8309c9a854a08d1407996de6.png

1. That one issue e.g. such as a toilet at the centrepoint is considered a death sentence or fatal error on it's own.
2. There are often more than one issue that can bring the Feng Shui of a house crashing down. And it is based on a holistic approach represented by this PIE Chart.

IN SUMMARY

The main takeaway is that a single issue, such as a poorly placed toilet, can significantly impact the overall Feng Shui of a house, but it is essential to recognize that multiple factors contribute to this holistic assessment. Therefore, addressing various issues collectively is crucial for maintaining a harmonious living environment.

A. How Suitable is this House?

image.png.bd718458759324eb052c260869e2d03a.png

Via Science of FS: Part 1 and 2
Via Art of FS: Part 3 External

1PIECHARTTOTAL.gif.6add51f0715c181265b21fdd2d8b79d9.gif

Part 1 = How suitable is the unit - Frontage, Kitchen & Main Bedroom? Frontage, Kitchen, Main Bedroom = 30 Marks image.png.656826af02e6a965b349888d6661b442.png
(Part 1 accounts for why some homes are suitable to some but not to others.)
Part 2 = How is the luck of the Interior Feng Shui of this unit? 35 Marks
Part 3 = External Feng Shui luck? 35 Marks

Total = 30% + 35%+ 35% = 100 Marks.

image.png.94acde6521a369360c937714ed64dc38.png

Note: Thus the toilet at the centrepoint at most falls under Part 2 with just a few percentage points down only.

B. Habit No. 3 = Concept of Maximizing Marks is another consideration:-

C. Fix-the-leaks, First!
