Dear Anon,
Under the `Shapes and Form' School, the concern is having `split' beds i.e. especially single beds to form a `large bed' either King or Queen sized.
What you have described is acceptable. This is because, it consists of a whole piece even if it is made up of layers.
Before, one `throws out' any bed, it is best to use the Flying Star Theory to check whether the base number i.e. problems with Romance is at the bedroom.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

What about the Split bed where it is consist of 2 twin XL size bed that put together side by side to make a king bed. Basically, I'm looking at the adjustable bed like the picture I attached. Is this consider bad fengshui?

Thanks for the photograph. Without it, there could have been some misunderstanding, as this type of bed is unique.

Can common sense explain why this arrangement is considered inauspicious? Sometimes, beds are "slippery," and due to physical activities, both beds might split apart or leave a gap in between. This seems to be the only issue based on practical concerns. However, this can depend on whether the beds have rollers or if the legs rest on slippery sliders for easier moving or cleaning underneath. All these problems can be fixed, so it’s not a permanent issue.

Actually, it mostly comes down to symbolism in Feng Shui. Some believe that joining two single beds, especially for a master bedroom, is not auspicious because the split down the middle symbolizes separation or divorce.

It’s similar to the idea of a continuum between hot and cold—opinions vary. More conservative people may share your concerns, and some may insist that a split, even if not complete, is still a split. For those in this group, the answer is a firm no. On the other hand, others see two twin beds joined together as not a true split, so it’s acceptable to them.

There is no definitive right or wrong answer to this, as it depends on personal beliefs and perspectives.

Nowadays with adjustable bed frames, split king beds are on the market so each person can adjust to their preference. Intuitively and common sense seems to tell me split king introduces separateness...

Is this bad feng Shui for the couple?

Common sense suggests that this type of bed might appeal more to older couples.

Let’s have a shotgun wedding!

However, one partner might feel offended if they were given such a bed.

I don’t want to sound harsh, but installing a bed like this could make separation happen even faster.

Hi Master,

Interesting, if both the husband and wife are ok with split king bed configuration (no matter their age), does that mean split king beds are OK from feng Shui perspective?

Feng Shui doesn’t control every aspect of life.

Not everything is determined by Feng Shui.

Feng Shui mainly focuses on the earth luck from a home or workplace—the places where you spend your time.

It represents about one-third of the overall “Holy Trinity” in the Chinese system of luck.

What you mentioned falls under feelings, which are generally considered part of Human or Man luck, not Feng Shui.

Human or Man luck accounts for 33.33% (out of 100 marks) of the total Chinese luck system.

BEWARE OF THIS AGE-OLD FENG SHUI SCAM

image.png.efcbfc100d6fc4da6a17f5a188322b9d.png

No wonder, Feng Shui suffers from a bad reputation, today

Many Feng Shui Masters are a Feng Shui Store. Their core business is not authentic Feng Shui.
But rather making big bucks by selling lots of useless commercial products in the name of Feng Shui.

Please give me a good reason not to buy such products. Here's one:

Okay, the above was written prior to the knowledge of COV-19. Here’s to another reason, why.

Many Feng Shui Masters and their shops are FAKES!

On Saturday, 14 March 2020, a WhatsApp from a past client

P.S. Frankly, I was just being extremely polite. Actually if one got the hint, as the British always say just throw the "bloody" thing away!

When the buying Stops! The selling Can!

Yes! Ask: "Must I buy from YOU?"
