lightsong
Can you tell me how to remedy a large sliding glass back door that opens to a flight of steps five feet away and leads straight down to a cull de sac? There is no covering on the door and it is very uncomfortable since everyone can look in. It feels as if all the wealth is being washed away down those steps. I'm planning to get some type of curtain for the glass door, but the house does not belong to me so I can't relocate the steps. Is there some thing else I can do to stop the Qi from flowing out so fast? It is in the NW sector of the house. The house has many Feng Shui problems. It's a SW sitting house and the main entrance is located in the SE. It's is also very inauspiciously shaped. The original house was rectangle now there are so many add on rooms that it looks like a a triangle wedge on one side. The owner divided the house into two units and on our side. The south section is almost completely missing. (it's part of the other unit) and the north section is also very small. It's on top of a hill and both front and back entrance is facing cul de sacs and there are four house with corners pointing at our doors and windows.Since I've lived here, I've gotten into several home base business and have lost money on all of them. Every month my income is less than my expenses. The rent is very inexpensive here because the owner is a personal friend, but it's been over five years and I can't continue like this much longer. The worst part is I am a writer and can't seem to finish my projects. Please give me some advice. Should I move or are there some remedies I can do to improve my situation.I really appreciate your help. Thanks,Cheui May
Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 23, 1999 Staff Share Posted November 23, 1999 Dear Cheui May, 1. 1. As you mentioned, you should use curtains on the large sliding glass back door. 2. Is there a way to place two potted plants on both sides of the steps or at the landing area? 3. Can you draw a simple sketch of the triangle-shaped area or the room you are using now? It is best if the bedroom, kitchen, and living room do not have an odd shape.
