Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 14, 2012 Staff Share Posted April 14, 2012 Some of the corner units each have a personal enclosed space (garden). Take a look at the photos, although the gardens are covered; unfortunately, it is supported by several pillars which can directly cause Sha Qi towards the living room etc.... Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 6, 2012 Staff Share Posted June 6, 2012 There is suppose to be a premium for pool-side view. But what a pity, the "lousy" architect of Meadows @ Pierce decided to place three air-con compressors blowing towards the pool for each of the stacks and for each floor. Thus, imagine, if many residents in each level of each stack start to turn on their air-con; noise pollution and hot-air will be blowing towards the pool as well as into their own and neighbour's unit.I believe, this is a first for you and me! This "stinks!"
Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 18, 2012 Staff Share Posted September 18, 2012 Athough it is shocking to find the entire living room wall, bedroom 2 and 3 and shared with master bedroom's wall are "dry wall" i.e. can't hang e.g. tv set or heavy hooks;Photos show Block six (6) stacks some of which has air-con compressor at the frontage of the unit... Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 18, 2012 Staff Share Posted September 18, 2012 1. Personally, I tend to avoid purchasing homes that incorporate a significant amount of drywall. 2. I believe that one of the primary offenders was the Livia @Pasir Ris, developed by CDL Developments. 3. I was astonished to discover that the Livia's TOP and all the internal walls, including those in the bedrooms and even the bathroom, are made of drywall. 4. It is advisable to consult with the developer prior to signing any agreements, especially if one shares my concerns; 5. Alternatively, while this may not be scientifically rigorous, some insights can be gleaned from a sales brochure. Pay particular attention to the thinness of the wall separating Bedroom 2 from Bedroom 3; it serves as a clear indication of what to expect.
