Career element: Maintain computer upgrade hardware

Hi, Just a question on career element. Repairing, maintaining Computer, upgrading the hardware belong to which career element? Water or Wood? Thanks.

1. Frankly, there are no right or wrong answers.
2. Main consideration is to TRY to justify what one feels it may belong to.
3. Nowadays, with multi-skilling i.e. a person gets to do varied range of job... it is hard to pin-point the exact career "fit" based on the five elements concept.
4. IN MY OPINION:-
4.1. If a person's main task is e.g. to co-ordinate e.g. plan for the maintenance (by someone else) and also plan; put-up proposals e.g. get best of 3 quotes on who will win the bid to upgrade then overall; I would classify it as more belonging to the WOOD element.
4.2. However, if the person's sub-task is to do a little planning of when he/she will be maintaining the computer and or will do the upgrade; THUS, if the person is this kind of Jack-of-all trades and personally do all the "dirty" work such as dismantling the server; change hard disks = HANDS on then I would generally feel that this "hands on" person's CORE job function has more to do with the WATER element. As he/she would have to sway the screw driver, jiggle the cables etc...
5. Again, let me emphasie that there is no right or wrong answers. For example if one's job is a supervisor has equal parts of Planning and Co-ordinating as well as giving a helping hand to one's staff; and often helps to move, change parts.. then this person can even have a career that is known as a WOOD-WATER career. Why not? Why must we always have to compartmentalise a career into just ONE type: earth? fire? Why not EARTH-FIRE? career?

In my opinion:
1. I personally feel that even in exactly the same career; it can differ in element. Why?
2. It has more to do with the individual who takes on with the job.
3. For example: I would interpret Singapore's First Prime Minister job function as more to do with Wood element. While Singapore's current or 3rd Prime Minister more of a water element.
4. Why?
5. The First Prime Minister is in my opinion, full of vision and although all Prime Ministers are orchestra conductors; the first PM is able to fully make use of his team: and make substantial growth of the country = Wood element. And on occassions, make tough decisions = Fire element.
6. The current 3rd Prime Miniser although is still an orchestra conductor (in my opinion) even if his musicians are out of tune; is more forgiving and more into auto-pilot mode. Thus; I feel water element and goes with the flow of his elite team. As a result, he can't be "wood element" as wood element is characterised by being pro-active. He's is more of an elastoplast; more towards, patching problems after it has surfaced.
7. The morale of the story is we have to look and reflect on the person in order to better understand what element he or she is inclined towards.
