Why the relationship and baby questions taboo

Featured Replies

Dear cecil,
Me and my friends have noticed that you never reply to questions on improving relationships and about having babies. We were wondering why? Since even reputed Master like Master Yu
mentioned that Bazi feng shui can be used for improving relationship and fertility. Thanks.

Dear Anon,

1. I do not believe this subject is taboo. Sorry if my actions made it seem that I do. Let me share my personal views on these issues. One reason I sometimes do not reply to these messages is that it is hard to give advice without knowing more details. Also, I believe other options may offer a better solution than Feng Shui. So I have “procrastinated” in answering these questions. To those users, I am sorry. I do intend to reply to the few questions on these issues. I also do not like to give advice if I believe it cannot work (even though it may raise hopes—which is the lesser evil?). Should I give false hopes? Maybe it will work—i.e., the power of suggestion?

2. It is my personal belief that improving relationships depends more on outside influences than on Feng Shui.

3. So, more success is due to other reasons, such as the couple’s maturity, understanding, and so on.

4. For example, when a person reaches a certain age—under the law this may be 16, 18, or 21—our habits and character are already deeply formed.

5. I personally feel people should not place too much hope in Feng Shui for improving relationships. This is because it depends on both parties working together, such as building understanding and commitment. They may also need to attend workshops or go for counselling to learn about themselves and their partners.

6. I always believe we should use the best tools, such as Feng Shui, Destiny, or Bazhi. But in my opinion, there is no direct link between these systems and improving relationships or fertility. If there were a direct link, someone would have written about it clearly, and many Feng Shui practitioners would have followed up on it. Even Bazhi Feng Shui has no DIRECT connection to these two issues. Otherwise, we would see many solid books on this topic. Have many of us come across such a book? Think about it. The closest and most common advice is to locate the “relationship” corner under Eight Aspirations, which is “kindergarten” Feng Shui.

7. Current tools like Flying Star can locate sickness sectors. For example, if someone is often sick, and it is due to a sickness or misfortune star, “curing” it can help. But I want to stress that there is no direct relationship to fertility or improving relationships. Many cures or cure claims are, in my view, partly based on “Chinese beliefs.” For example, before a wedding, some couples invite a healthy baby boy to roll on their bed. Do you find this practice logical? Is it Feng Shui? In my opinion, as said above, both parties must make an effort to make the relationship work.

8. I do not like giving false hopes, such as saying that placing an object somewhere, or even changing bedrooms (from the master bedroom to another room), will automatically improve a relationship.

9. I understand Feng Shui may help in some way with relationship and fertility issues, but today things are more complex. For example, we developed a module on Pillars of Comparison to find the binding element for two people. More software will be developed if we find something useful. The reason is that clashes, elements, and other factors are complex, so computing power is the obvious choice. Chinese astrology also provides compatibility and the degree of compatibility of two people (based on year of birth) at www.lovesigns.net. This helps people understand their own characteristics or traits, and other people’s characteristics. By doing this, people can better understand each other’s faults and imperfections. However, these Chinese signs, like their Western Zodiac cousins, can describe what someone is like or “predict” week by week, but unlike Flying Star analysis, they cannot offer a “cure.” For example, if there is too much fire element, what should one do?

10. Therefore, we have always treated Chinese Astrology (year of birth only), as found under lovesigns.net, more as “fun.”

11. In the past, we did not have so many preservatives in food, so many genetically modified products, so much pollution, new diseases like AIDS, the hole in the ozone layer, and many other modern problems, including questions like whether handphones are safe.

12. I believe people should put more focus on research in these areas through science or medical work, and not rely on Feng Shui for this. It is easy to say relationships or fertility improved through Feng Shui, but what is the success rate, and could it be due to other reasons?

13. Scientists and medical experts have developed new methods to test fertility and new breakthroughs in artificial insemination. It is best to leave these matters to experts who can help struggling couples, rather than relying too much on Feng Shui for such things.

14. I would rather focus (for now) on what I believe works in Feng Shui, such as identifying key problems like a toilet in the centre, poison arrows aimed at main entrances, and other more focused Feng Shui research. Some people are fine with a mirror facing the bed, while others are sensitive to it. Similar issues must be addressed when discussing fertility (these are concerns for us). For my part, I do not like giving false hopes to couples about improving relationships or solving fertility problems.

15. In the modern world, there are too many outside factors that affect relationships, such as financial problems, job stress, and so on.

16. As the saying goes, “action speaks louder than words.” Please prove it. Making claims is easy, but most of us need to see evidence that something works well for most people.

17. We must also try to measure success rates. If only 1 person out of 10,000 finds it effective, can we call it a good “cure”? Would you “buy” or accept such a claim?

18. As we do more research and study of Feng Shui, we hope to share what truly works. Anyone who wants to make claims is free to do so. The truth will prevail, especially if claims cannot be fulfilled.

Warmest Regards,

Cecil

P.S. For your information, Bazhi Feng Shui refers to Pillars of Destiny. So far, the best and most reliable use is comparing two people to find their binding elements.

Conceived Twins After Feng Shui Consultation: Fertility Support, Home Energy Tips & What to Know

Before, she had trouble having children. After a Feng Shui consultation, she had two lovely twins: a boy and a girl. Feng Shui cannot guarantee success. But it can help improve the chances, especially if there are any imbalances in the home.

There was another case: a client who lived in the Rosewood condo. (She also worked for a company that uses my Feng Shui service). After the consultation, she managed to have a baby boy.
