Forest Woods Residences Condo By CDL

First looks: the outline of the site-plan reminds me of a small grand piano. With a piece (in red) eaten up by a sub-station.

This development sits at the main junction of Paya Lebar Road and Upper Serangoon Road. With a smaller estate road : Lorong Lew Lian. Which by the way Lew Lian suppose to be or sounds like "Durian"...

It is good that the architect has set in the blocks/stacks furthest inwards: to avoid the traffic/road noise of both Paya Lebar and Upper Serangoon Road.

And the entrance / exit of vehicles is via Lorong Lew Lian.

Hopefully, when this development T.O.P. CDL should be presenting each unit with a crate of durians each. As in the past, some developers do present a bottle red wine as a gesture of good luck-will.

First looks of Forest Woods Residences...

Hopefully, the name implies that there will be abundance of trees in this estate...

With or without Feng Shui considerations; this will certainly be fully booked given that it is just a five minutes walk to the MRT station.

Forest Woods Residences Condo By CDL and Flying Star Feng Shui

1. These stacks favours a West group person.

2. NE1 stacks 09, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 26, 27, 28, 29 & 38. Has the auspicious water wealth #8 star at the frontage. Thus, units with water position at the frontage (balcony side) can enjoy good Feng Shui. If so, the sum-of-ten can be activated for : Health, wealth and family luck. If the unit is not facing a water position, then best to place a water position at the balcony area to activate the luck. On the downside; the other sectors in such a home has bad stars that best to be disarmed or neutralised.

SW1 stacks 01, 02, 07, 08, 11, 12, 13, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 31, 33.  As the water wealth #8 is at the frontage; water at the frontage is good. Particularly advantages for stacks 24, 30 & 31 as these units faces a pool of water. Or activate a water position at the balcony area. As such overall, the unit can activate the sum-of-ten. Need though to disarm bad stars in many sectors of the home. To disarm health related considerations.

Forest Woods Residences Condo By CDL and Flying Star Feng Shui

The remaining stacks belongs to the East group.

N3 STACKS 32, 33, 39, 42, 43, 44 has the double auspicious #8's wasted at the "back" of the unit. Thus not as favourable.

S3 STACKS 34, 35, 36, 40, 41, 46. In general, these stacks are the best stacks for a East group person. As both frontage enjoys the double auspicious #8 wealth stars. And furthermore their facing directions has water. Bring great wealth.

1. Attached, please find a sample illustration of a Flying Star Period 8, S2 chart. Please note that an S2 chart is identical to an S3 chart except that the directions found in the chart has to be tilted 15 degrees to 195 degrees instead of the original 180 degrees.

2. In the attachment: it is advantages for the [8] & [8] which symbolises : Prosperity, good wealth at the frontage of the home. Vs a N3 facing where this good stars are wasted at the "rear" which is usually the kitchen/yard area.

3. The only concern for a S3 facing chart is that so often, the kitchen may be located at NW sector. Which in Feng Shui is called: "Fire at Heaven's Gate". And this can affect the male breadwinner's career luck.

4. Thus for a South facing (S3) best to select a unit where the kitchen is either at North or North-east sector is preferred.

Forest Woods is within the 1960’s Kampong Lew Lian area
Kampong Lew Lian was a large cemetry area

Our Past 50 years
As we celebrate our Nation's Golden Jubilee in 2015, we are glad to share with you a brief history of this precinct. This area was formerly known as Kampong Lew Lian in the 60s with mainly Chinese and some Malay families growing durians, pineapples and vegetable for their livelihood"Lew Lian " was what the Chinese called durian.
F11A559C-2652-4EB3-AFBE-4A3ECF2A8622.jpeg This was probably how the - kampong was ramed. With the redevelopment, eight HDB blocks had sprouted in 1977 and the Residents' Committee (RC) was officially formed in 1979. It was originally named as Paya Lebar Zone 'A' RC.

In 1980 the RC was renamed as Braddell Heights Zone 'A' RC with the redrawing of electoral boundary.

Three years later the RC Centre at Bik 6 was officially opened by Mr Lee Khoon Choy, former Minister of State Prime Minister Office.

Another significant event took place in * 1984 as we pioneered the formation of the first Civil Defence Volunteer Company in Singapore.

We were also remembered with pride to help up at the Hotel New World disaster from15 March to 22 March 1986.

15373A69-FA9F-4046-8B2D-FF673C60713D.jpegAnother electoral boundary took place in 1988 which positioned our zone under Aljunied GRC. Thirteen more blocks of HDB flats from Serangoon Central and Ave 1 redeveloped from the Teochew Ngee Ann Kongsi burial ground were added to become Aljunied Zone' E'RC.

Under the new division Lorong Lew Lian Estate was one of the first estate to be selected for the demonstration phase HDB Main Upgrading Programme in 1992.

More than 98% of the residents voted for the programme which i was completed in 1995. In the same year our RC precinct was selected to host the first launching of the Clean and Green Week event in the heartland, officiated by former PM Goh Chok Tong.

By 1997 the RC was renamed Braddell Heights Zone 'B' as we became part of Marine Parade GRC. With the new millennium the estate had been undergoing many improvement programmes. including Lift Upgrading (LUP) and Neighbourhood Renewal Programme (NRP).

Reciprocating to the estate renewal, younger and capable grassroots leaders were roped in to rejuvenate the Residents' Committee and together we hope to make this place an excellent place to live in. Let us celebrate our Nation's Golden Jubilee
and together we make it a memorable one.

AS WE ENTER PERIOD 9 FLYING STAR FENG SHUI FROM 2024 TILL 2043

WHICH UNITS ARE LUCKY?
image.png.322619467450bea7b53a39edb3064682.png

Part 1: How is the luck of the Interior Feng Shui of this unit?
Part 2: External Feng Shui luck?
Part 3: How suitable is the unit - Frontage, Kitchen & Main Bedroom?

PART 1 = 35%

Depends on the Internal Layout & Sectors - How Lucky?

XINTERNAL.gif.d9af8924f0296c58ffa61955890ffc1e.gif

Majority of units either face NE1, SW1, N3 or S3.
The most concerned for health issues are the SW1 Units from 2024 till 2043

forest woods flying stars1.png

+++++++++++++++++

Good, Better, Best!

Just one = N3 only

image.png.eca59c69e7fbe6bb056ab7f13cf0332b.pngN3 = [Better luck under Period 9. From 2024 till 2043]

+++++++++++++++

The Rest!

All are less lucky.
But SW1 = has the most headache in terms of health concerns

image.png.78e89ef43d806b6f1b9a9ebe95540c80.png S3 = Less lucky under Period 9. As formerly double #8's at it's frontage had now become Past or Gone Luck!

+++++++++++++++

image.png.78e89ef43d806b6f1b9a9ebe95540c80.pngNE1 = Less lucky under Period 9. It also depends on the layout plan.

But also need to review/consider the individual Internal Layout Plan
& this is just part of the many considerations in a home purchase.

However the above does not take into consideration things like:
Kitchen/Stove at Inauspicious Fire @ Heaven's Gate
or Poison arrow aimed towards the unit, proximity to common bin etc..

Please note that has yet to take into consideration:
1. How suitable is the unit to the main breadwinner &
2. External Shapes and Forms of the unit

Toilet in middle of unit?
Feng Shui (FS) is not so fragile

The ABC's of Feng Shui...

image.png.c5822a8f8309c9a854a08d1407996de6.png

1. That one issue e.g. such as a toilet at the centrepoint is considered a death sentence or fatal error on it's own.
2. There are often more than one issue that can bring the Feng Shui of a house crashing down. And it is based on a holistic approach represented by this PIE Chart.

IN SUMMARY

The main takeaway is that a single issue, such as a poorly placed toilet, can significantly impact the overall Feng Shui of a house, but it is essential to recognize that multiple factors contribute to this holistic assessment. Therefore, addressing various issues collectively is crucial for maintaining a harmonious living environment.

A. How Suitable is this House?

image.png.bd718458759324eb052c260869e2d03a.png

Via Science of FS: Part 1 and 2
Via Art of FS: Part 3 External

1PIECHARTTOTAL.gif.6add51f0715c181265b21fdd2d8b79d9.gif

Part 1 = How suitable is the unit - Frontage, Kitchen & Main Bedroom? Frontage, Kitchen, Main Bedroom = 30 Marks image.png.656826af02e6a965b349888d6661b442.png
(Part 1 accounts for why some homes are suitable to some but not to others.)
Part 2 = How is the luck of the Interior Feng Shui of this unit? 35 Marks
Part 3 = External Feng Shui luck? 35 Marks

Total = 30% + 35%+ 35% = 100 Marks.

image.png.94acde6521a369360c937714ed64dc38.png

Note: Thus the toilet at the centrepoint at most falls under Part 2 with just a few percentage points down only.

B. Habit No. 3 = Concept of Maximizing Marks is another consideration:-

C. Fix-the-leaks, First!

Units categorized as Good, Bad, and Ugly.

1. Keep in mind that while a geomancer may deem this development favorable, the quality of a unit also relies on its specific location within the development.

image.png.6a1342ebc3532d44bbe3fafe3ab28a79.png

2. Is your potential unit under the Good, the Bad or the Ugly?

image.png.6d4a74917ab7d962389d96ae7985fcd5.pngimage.png.bd794d1b7f491c9b83446ea6decded1c.png

3. Consider this scenario: the unit resembles a dilapidated 1,000 cc car that has seen better days. Not even a skilled Feng Shui Master could transform it into a desirable unit!

image.png.b996e340ebd63c1430835db31862a798.png

3.1. By the way, (above) this falls under Habit Number 11.

4. Under Habit 1, one possibility is by ranking one's bedroom type by stack/unit: 1st choice, 2nd choice etc...

546183713_HABIT1B.png.6ce21c3762026c92d7356fb74f366862.png

Case Study: Don't want the male breadwinner's career to suffer?

Ensure that south-facing units do not have their kitchens, particularly the stove, located in the northwest sector.

FIREATHEAVENSGATE.thumb.png.c8eb82c47621ef332ece6a43e2eb2e35.png
1. Based on a quick sampling, of just one Stack/unit, for example, there is no running away for both the kitchen as well as the stove to be anywhere away from the inauspicious Fire @ Heaven's Gate = NW sector!
