The Tembusu @ Tampines - Which units are lucky today?

Freehold. T.O.P. 2017. Period 8 Flying Star Feng Shui.
At The Tembusu, sometimes the way buildings and spaces are shaped matters more for Feng Shui than the Flying Stars system.

1. The Tembusu @ Tampines has five blocks, made up of two larger and three smaller buildings.

2. Trilive, which is also a small development, is just one site away and is separated only by Fortune Park.

3. In this project, the Flying Star directions are either N2 or S2, but they are about 5 degrees off from true North or South.

4. There is a multi-storey car park (HDB MSCP BLK 373A) that covers about two-thirds of the northern side of The Tembusu.

5. Since these car parks are no higher than six storeys, residents need to be careful if their balcony or any opening faces a roof lamp, as this can cause Sha Qi, or harmful energy.

6. It is easier to fix this problem when the lamp is seen from a window, compared to when it points straight at the center of a balcony.

7. All stacks in this development face either an N2 or S2 direction according to the Flying Stars system for Period 8.

8. N2 stacks have their double lucky #8 stars at the back of the unit, making them less desirable than S2-facing stacks.

9. However, a key benefit of this project is that some stacks in Blocks 107C and 107D have a view of a pool.

10. Some may wonder why N2 stacks seem less favorable, even though there are advantages like having a water view.

11. This is explained by the saying: “Forms are more important than stars.”

12. For example, even though S2-facing stacks are usually better than N2 stacks,

12.1 there is no real water in front of the S2 stacks,

12.2 and while the roads inside the project and Tampines Road act a little like water,

12.3 when we look at the layout, a unit facing the pool (with the car park further away) probably has better Feng Shui.

13. So, even though all S2-facing stacks have double lucky #8 wealth stars at their front, this is not always better than the water view mentioned in point 9.

14. A major concern for S2-facing units is that the kitchen is often in the northwest part of the home, which Feng Shui calls “Fire at Heaven’s Gate.” This can affect the main male earner’s career luck.

15. So, for a south-facing (S2) unit, it is better to pick one where the kitchen is in the north or northeast part of the home.
