The Tembusu @ Tampines - Which units are lucky today?

Freehold. T.O.P. 2017. Period 8 Flying Star Feng Shui.
At The Tembusu, there are instances where “Shapes and Forms” Feng Shui can be more important than the “Flying Stars” influences.

1. The Tembusu @ Tampines consists of five blocks, with two larger and three smaller buildings.

2. Trilive, which is also a small development, is located just one site away, separated only by Fortune Park.

3. In this development, the Flying Star orientations are either N2 or S2, although the compass bearings are about 5 degrees off from true North or South.

4. There is a multi-storey car park (HDB MSCP BLK 373A) that covers roughly two-thirds of the northern side of The Tembusu.

5. Since MSCPs are no higher than six storeys, residents should be cautious if a balcony or other opening directly faces a roof lamp, as this can create Sha Qi, or “poison arrow” energy.

6. It is easier to neutralize such poison arrows when they are seen from window openings, compared to situations where a lamp post directly aligns with and points toward the center of a balcony.

7. All stacks in this development are aligned with either an N2 or S2 Flying Stars Period 8 orientation.

8. N2 stacks or units have their double auspicious #8 stars located at the “back” of the unit, making them less favorable compared to the S2-facing stacks.

9. However, a key benefit of this development is that some stacks in Blocks 107C and 107D overlook a pool of water.

10. Some may wonder why the points above about N2 stacks seem to contradict the advantages mentioned in point 9.

11. This is explained by the principle: “Forms prevail over the stars.”

12. For example, while S2-facing stacks are generally considered better than N2 stacks,

12.1 there is no actual (Yang) water in front of the S2-facing units.

12.2 Although the roads—both the service road within the development and Tampines Road itself—act somewhat like water courses,

12.3 when considering Shapes and Forms, even if the flying star charts look good, doesn’t a stack facing the pool (with the car park further away) offer overall better Feng Shui?

13. So, in this development, although all south-facing (S2) stacks have double auspicious #8 wealth stars at their frontage, this is not necessarily better than the benefits discussed in point 9.

14. A major concern with an S2-facing chart is that the kitchen is often found in the northwest sector, which, in Feng Shui, is called “Fire at Heaven’s Gate.” This placement can affect the male breadwinner’s career luck.

15. Therefore, for a south-facing (S2) unit, it is best to choose one where the kitchen is located in either the north or northeast sector.
