Keith
Dear Sir, In a Property Review you did in 2015 on HDB Tampines GreenLace. under para 3 in the following:- -------- 3. NE1 facing stacks = 42 &44 with SW1 facing stacks = 24. 3.1 NE1. Has the auspicious water wealth #8 star at the frontage. Thus, units with water position at the frontage (balcony side) can enjoy good Feng Shui. If so, the sum-of-ten can be activated for : Health, wealth and family luck. If the unit is not facing a water position, then best to place a water position at the balcony area to activate the luck. On the downside; the other sectors in such a home has bad stars that best to be disarmed or neutralised. -------- (1) Do you mean stacks 42 & 44 have bad stars that best to be disarmed or neutralised? There doesn't seem to have any other NE1 Stacks mentioned other than 42 & 44 mentioned in your review. (2) Are these 2 stacks good for West Group People? (3) Is Tampines GreenLace having Good or Bad Fengshui in general? (4) Is this plot of land well located (free from any harmful surrounding influence)? (5) Is the layout considered ideal? Ok? (6) It is located just opposite a school campus. I saw some posts from you that if the house is near hospital, medical facility such as Tampines Greenweave, it is no good. How about near School and Fire Station (close by though not exactly just next to it)? Kindly advise. Thanks in advance.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 1, 2016 1. Please note that the review is on 5 bedroom type. And not other bedroom types. Thus 42 & 44 happens to be facing NE1. 2. Under Flying Stars: NE1 happens to have auspicious water wealth #8 under Period 8. Thus this is its main advantage. As it's corresponding #8 mountain star is at the rear. Thus These two are its saving grace until year 2022... 2023 when it gradually change period. 3. As mentioned, other then these Two "wonder" stars till 2022..2023.. 2024. Other sectors have bad stars. For eg. The centre palace has the nasty #5 misfortune and sickness with #2 sickness stars. 4. The roof line of United world college can be a poison arrow. 5. Overall, this whole development is like most developments. And as it's three sides are facing the road, it pales in comparison to some other developments. 6. Common sense says that many don't want to be too close or earful to a fire station. If the fire engines turn on their siren etc... who is there to tell the not so. 7. Schools : if one is not directly facing a school... what is the concern? It's roof-line? Assembly area etc.
Keith
Dear Master Lee, Thank you so much for the clarification. I have read a number of Singapore Property Reviews by you. I noticed that a number of reviews of NE1 and some SW1 stacks in your review mentioned about the bad stars just like the one on Tampines Green Lace. Can I assume that NE1 facing is in general a direction to be avoided? Are there also NE2 and NE3? If yes, do all NE facing have the same problem with the bad stars you mentioned above? Beside this, you mentioned that the two wonder stars will gradually move in time (pretty soon considering that 2023, 2024 is just 7 to 8 years from now). Does the same happen to the bad stars too? Does this mean we should change house or renovate the house to constantly align with the movement of the stars? Or perhaps, have the house reviewed by Fengshui Master regularly to implement corrective / enhancement measures? Lastly, what are the significance / impact of House Number and Eight House Principle as compared to Flying Stars? Kindly advise. Thank you.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 4, 2016 Part 1: Here are several considerations: 1. In a recent response, I noted the following points:- 1.1. The concepts of Shapes and Forms take precedence over the stars, known as Flying Stars. 1.2. In this context, Shapes and Forms equate to location, location, and location. A residence situated in an excellent location is likely to possess favorable Feng Shui, regardless of the presence of Flying Stars as assistance. 2. Therefore, in that response, I indicated that:- 2.1. The significance of Shapes and Forms in Feng Shui can be regarded as constituting 70 percent of a total score of 100. 2.2 Meanwhile, Compass School Feng Shui comprises two branches: Flying Stars, which represents only 25 percent, and the remaining 5 percent is attributed to the Eight House concept. Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 4, 2016 Part 2: 1. Not long ago, another individual inquired about my criteria when applying Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. I responded that my main focus when utilizing Flying Star Feng Shui is to find a home that features the "double auspicious" stars at the FRONTAGE. 3. Therefore, between 1984 and 2003, when I purchased a home, my primary criterion was Location, Location, and Location. 3.1. Subsequently, according to Flying Stars, a home that at that time had double #7's was essential. 3.2. From now until 2023, all the properties I have acquired again emphasize great Location, Location, and Location, with an added advantage if they possess double auspicious #8's during this timeframe. 4. In this sample chart for Period 8 NE2/NE3, from now until 2023, the auspicious #mountain star is #8. Meanwhile, the auspicious #water can often be wasted at the back of the unit, such as in the kitchen, yard, or yard WC, etc. 5. Starting in 2024, the #8 will transition into a part of prosperity, while the #5 will emerge as the dominant star, raising health concerns. 5.1. The Flying Star chart is not universally applicable. 5.2. For instance, in this chart, the unfavorable #5 and #2's are positioned at the center. If the layout includes an open space, this configuration is not beneficial. In some developments, the center may be occupied by a bomb shelter or a toilet, which would be more suitable for this type of layout plan. 6. As Period 9 approaches, officially spanning from 2024 to 2043, 6.1. One can often sense its effects starting from 2022... 2023... onwards. What should one be vigilant about? 6.2. Here, from 2024 to 2043, we are under Period 9: #8 will represent past prosperity. 6.3. Meanwhile, #9 will become the dominant or CURRENT PROSPERITY star during that period. 6.4. Good luck if the Water star #9 is confined in the EAST, assuming this area is a toilet. Alternatively, the mountain star #9 during that period, located in the South, could also correspond to the kitchen or even the service yard.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 4, 2016 Part 3: Let us examine a sample illustration. Assuming the frontage is NE2/NE3, try to visualize and overlay the previous 9 grid chart onto it: Here, the frontage is positioned within the living room, looking out through the living room windows, which is designated as NE2: 1. In Period 9, it presents a double-edged sword since the East sector is a missing corner. However, there is an opening in the master bedroom (located in the East) that allows for good qi to flow in, provided the owner opens the windows as indicated in green. 2. In Period 9, the mountain star #9 is rendered ineffective on the South side, which is typically where the washing machine or service yard is located. 3. A positive aspect is that the central point contains the toilets, which aids in containing the negative #5, associated with misfortune or sickness, along with #2 sickness at the central palace. 3.1. Therefore, contrary to common belief, having a toilet in the center of the home is not always detrimental—it depends on the circumstances! 3.2. Is this layout suitable for a Period 8, NE2 facing unit? There are no alternatives if no comparisons are available. 3.3. What occurs if one is searching for a house and discovers a home with a layout as described in Paragraph 4 below? CLUE: The layout in Paragraph 4 appears to align better with the future Period 9 chart.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 4, 2016 Part 4: Once more, let us assume that this layout represents a Period 8 NE2 chart. Additionally, we will consider the frontage to be NE2/NE3. Furthermore, envision and overlay the previous 9 grid chart onto this current chart. 1. This layout features a Household shelter (bomb shelter) positioned at the center palace, which is advantageous as it effectively secures the #5 and #2. Moreover, it is a positive aspect that it is not situated in the toilet area. 2. When contemplating Period 9, it is anticipated that the living room will eventually host the water star #9 in this location, where individuals typically spend their time. 3. A further advantage of this layout compared to the layout in Part 3 is that it includes the main entrance/kitchen located in the South sector. 4. The two examples provided illustrate that Flying Stars, whether in Periods 7, 8, 9, etc., such as NE2/NE3, do not conform to a "ONE SIZE FITS ALL" scenario. 4.1 The principle of "IT DEPENDS" is applicable here! 4.2 Therefore, it appears that this layout is more advantageous if one is considering this home for the long term. However, if one is likely to change residences on or after 2022, this analysis may be disregarded. 5. In this depiction, the frontage should typically be viewed from within the living room, looking out through the living room window(s). The positioning of the main door is contingent upon the architect's design choice regarding how the unit connects to the common corridor. An illustrative example is where the main door could be located at the position marked in red "A". Consequently, the main door might even face a different direction, such as allowing a direct view of the living room window(s) upon opening.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 4, 2016 In my view, or to be fair: Countries like Singapore that opt to import labor and maximize land usage or increasingly crowd more individuals into the nation: even if one is a multi-millionaire; the majority would still reside in an apartment. Consequently: the phrase "Location, location, and location" becomes more challenging to attain, particularly for many who have just begun with an equally expensive 99-year leasehold property. In this scenario; one’s aspiration is to extract as much fortune as possible from the remaining 30% of the total marks. And ideally, the other 70 percent: while not exceptional, should at least not be in a poor location. Thus, in numerous previous forum discussions, there are homes that:- 1. Are unrefined gems. For these properties, a simple and straightforward enhancement can yield remarkable results. 2. There are other homes that fall within the "bell curve". Here, conduct a search in this forum... for this term. 3. Regrettably, there are homes that, even before occupancy, resemble a 10-year-old 1,000 cc vehicle. Supposed to be scrapped by SGP standards... Therefore, no matter how much one attempts to repair the "leaks" here; there are no miraculous solutions. 4. In contrast to the 1960s and 1970s, when many educators could afford to buy a terrace house for SGP$15,000/-. At that time, semi-detached homes and bungalows could accommodate numerous fruit trees. They could even manage the popular mango tree, which was highly sought after as their properties were sufficiently large to accommodate this tree = notorious for its overgrowth and dense foliage. Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 5, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 5, 2016 Extract from the forum thread of Sims Urban Oasis:- These are some considerations:- Out of say a total of 100 marks:- 1. 70 percent goes to "Location, location and location". Thus one of the most critical is the last resort of stacks facing the expressway. 1.1. As expressways are like water courses and vehicles going more than 70 km to 90 km ain't exactly slow. Thus this is like a fast water course. Inauspicious under the Water classics. 1.2. White pollution = noise pollution from vehicles along the busy expressway all day round with exception of lesser traffic around the wee hours of any day or Sundays. 1.3. Thus stacks facing the highway will have much poorer marks or the dice loaded against it; the moment one buys such stacks. 2. As mentioned above: Location, location and location = Shapes and Forms accounts for nearly 70 percent of the total marks. 3. The last 30 percent of the marks goes to Compass School Feng Shui. 3.1. There are two concepts under the Compass School: Eight House (e.g. such as bed head facing West) and Flying Star Feng Shui. 3.2. Here, Flying Star Feng Shui accounts for the bulk of the luck as much as 25 percent. And the remainder 5 percent goes to such things as "your bed head facing west". 4. In summary as a rough guide:- Shapes and Forms Feng Shui (Location, location and location) = 70 % Flying Star Feng Shui = 25 % Eight House Feng Shui = 5% ---------------------------------------------- Total Max score = 100 % ==========================

Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 26, 2023 Staff Share Posted July 26, 2023 Feng Shui suffers a bad reputation, today. Many Feng Shui Masters are a Feng Shui Store. Their core business is not authentic Feng Shui. But rather making big bucks by selling lots of useless commercial products in the name of Feng Shui. Please give me a good reason not to buy such products. Here's one: Okay, the above was written prior to the knowledge of COV-19. Here’s to another reason, why. Many Feng Shui Masters and their shops are FAKES! On Saturday, 14 March 2020, a WhatsApp from a past client P.S. Frankly, I was just being extremely polite. Actually if one got the hint, as the British always say just throw the "bloody" thing away!
