80 units of Freehold colonial style cluster terraces and semi-detached housing.

Black and white colonial style.

Do you know why it is called black and white?

This is because of the wood that is varnished or protected by black coating:paint.  

And all these homes were whitewashed.

Thus the house looks like a white house with black stripes/wooden beam outlines..Still find one house at Fort Road that was converted into kids school.
