In 1966, the Twin Vew plot would have been the starting point of Sungei (River) Pandan.

West Coast Village would have been positioned at about 8 o’clock in Twin Vew’s southwest direction. Kampong S. Pandan was located at Twin Vew’s 6 o’clock, or directly south. At that time, the railway ran just above PARC Riviera. This likely contributed to the area’s vibrant atmosphere.

Case Study: It is always best to take readings from the sales brochure site plan and compare them with a street directory map.

For brand-new developments, try to confirm compass directions using as many sources as possible. If this is not feasible, the next best option is to use a street directory.

1. Based on the sales brochures, the Flying Star Feng Shui calculations indicate that the units may face either NE2, SW2, N3, or S3.

Please note: Avoid using the Twin Vew sales brochure for compass readings, as the North marking shown is not accurate.

2. However, we take alook at the streetdirectory map; Block 91 is a pure North-South 0/360 to 180 degrees direction:

2.1. Thus, for stacks/units in block 91, it has to be either N2 or S2 facing. NOT N3 or S3. (Although technically N2-N3 plus S2-S3 shares the same Flying Star templates).

3. Thus even more so that Block 93's compass degrees in the streetmap will differ from the sales brochure.

3.1 For Block 93, the compass readings based on streetmap is either NE1 = 25 degrees or SW1 = 205 degrees. A world of difference from the NE2/SW2 readings.

4. In the meantime, it is recommended to use the readings found on the street directory.com, first.

Note: When T.O.P. it is always best to go down on-site to do a further confirmation.

1.1. Units close to dining or barbecue areas may be affected by smoke or food smells when these spaces are in use.

1.2. If you dislike noise, avoid units near water jets or jacuzzis (if available).

1.3. Consider the proximity to clubhouse toilets, function rooms, or other areas that may host parties.

2. Bin centre / electrical substation / generator set:

2.1. Avoid units located above shops near these facilities, as hygiene issues may occur, including pests such as ants around rubbish bins.

3. Facing a guardroom or busy service road, such as a drop-off point, can lead to higher noise levels.

Others:
Herb gardens are often more for display than actual use. While upkeep is usually good in the first few years, they may be neglected over time, especially after the condo reaches 10 years or more. Also, since all condos are required to carry out weekly mosquito fogging, it is not advisable to use these herbs for cooking.

Twin Vew is built on untouched land. To the northwest lies the old Pasir Panjang, to the west are Pandan and Teban, and to the south is West Coast.

Hi Master, May I know which stacks, Stack 6 (S2 facing) or Stack 9 (SW1 facing) is better for east group person in period 9 ( for long term stay , so need to decide on period 9)?

As you mentioned the North of the siteplan is not accurate, how do we draw the drawing as the kitchen for stack 6 seems to be at NW sector of house.

For Southwest facing house, i read in one of your pages that is good in period 8 and the effects greatly diminish in period 9? Is this theory based on flying stars? or based on the facing of the house?

Greatly appreciate some insights.
