The semi-circular doormat should not be utilized in all areas of a residence.

The most suitable place for the semi-circular doormat is at the entrance of a bedroom, for instance, positioned in front of the staircase. Apart from this, it is recommended to place it outside the house, even though it serves as a mild form of Feng Shui defensive tool.

For instance, when ascending the staircase, the bedroom door is directly visible. In this scenario, the semi-circular doormat could be appropriately placed here to counteract the sha qi emanating from the staircase. Thus far, this is the only location or circumstance that I can identify as acceptable for positioning the semi-circular doormat.
