Confusion in Pillars Explanation

Recommended Posts

Dear Cecil,
In the Pillars of Destiny chart for this period of my life I found this passage:
This period falls under the Summer season.
Favouring West directional luck period,
which happens to be the Metal element. As
you are a Weak Water, this is inauspicious
for you as it weaken your assisting element
Metal.
Suggested Prevention:
You should still try to help your Weak Water
with Metal.
My question is: Why does metal weaken metal? Also, since this is considered inauspicious, would it mean that the west direction is bad for me even though the season favors west? My bedroom is in the west, if I place the cures there, would it be OK?
Thanks,
Cheui May

Dear Cheui May,
1. For the house, we have already gone thru the various `cures' to balance the specific sectors.
2. For the individual, you can add `metal' during this period. For Example, you can wear white, `gold' coloured dresses (or T shirts) to further enhance your water element.
You can equally, use blue, black or shades of grey also.
The above is not compulsory, but would help.
3. Overall, you should not be too concerned about your bedroom being west. The above should do.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
